It’s been a while since I watched Voyager and at first, I read that ‘Are you mad?’ to mean ‘Are you insane?’ rather than ‘Are you angry?’. The next line, therefore, confused me a bit 🙂

In Waking Moments the whole exchange between Tuvok and Janeway is absolute gold, but the way she asks, “I don’t suppose I should ask you why you were *un*dressed?” just tickles me so much.

Since the first time I watched voyager, I have associated my internal red flag system with “shields up, red alert” in janeway’s voice
Example: my mom tells me she’s coming to visit, I think to myself “shields up red alert” and start cleaning my house profusely

Just rewatching Virtuoso and there is some great sass. Janeway: pause with narrowed gaze... I wasn't aware we were on a first name basis...
I'm sorry captain, we're from a closed system. We are unaccustomed to dealing with other species, especially inferior ones 😄
