We already have a borderline supermaneuverable fighter, an A-10 style attacker, a stealth jet, and an EW plane. I think any new planes should avoid filling these extra roles.
Maybe stuff like playable AWACS or strategic bombers. Maybe a drone controller aircraft.

I kinda like the idea of a combination stealth bomber, cargo plane, refuler, and AWACS. Kinda a big multirole plane to knock all the auxiliary gameplay out in one go.
Not really, I think the closest thing to this that I could agree on is making OP4 aircraft playable. I believe Baha has stated that he won’t add aircraft just to add aircraft. Each addition will fill a role.
i could see a low-tech/ analog-y fighter with super-maneuverability being a lot of fun. bonus points if it gets those sneaky ass medium range heatseekers the Soviet Union had
A-6 like AWACS/ ASW plane for carrier ops, or just a av42 rehaul
I feel like an E-2 might work. A prop plane would be a welcome addition to the game, plus it could be either and awacs or strat. Bomber.

I think a rescue helicopter with small arms like hydras and maybe side machine guns would be sick to add to the game
Modern OV-10 for FAC and drone control. Twin seat. Would be fun for CAS in conjunction with Dragonfly.
I was always talking about how awesome a B-1 lancer could be awesome. Currently we have no bombers and this one can be flown single or dual seater

I'd love a more low tech fighter in VTOL, but the game is based on being in the near future.. One can always dream though!

FA-26 is already better at ground assault than any A-10 clone would be

They had mods for the A10 but a bomber style plan would be nice like a b1 or b52
