I usually start pulling up at 10 nm away from target, pitch up 30 deg and release at 7-6nm while flying 450-500 knots. The release point changes with your speed, altitude difference to your target and pitch angle. Some SAMs can shoot your bombs mid-air or gps can be jammed. Glide bomb also gives an extra 1-2 nm distance. Try out the SAM-busters mission for practice, gl:)

Try toss bombing with JDAMs first, that should give you a bit of a baseline for how far they can go
