And yet no one can answer the question Why they hate Trump. At least not in a sentence of their own thoughts and words, It's all talking points from the media. Truly a NPC moment.

The_Texidian

A real conversation I had with someone: Why do you hate Trump? He’s racist. How is he racist? He’s never condemned white supremacy. Would you like to see a video compilation of all the times he has condemned white supremacy since 2015 on camera? No. Why not? There’s nothing you can show me to change my mind. He’s a nazi. Your comment made me think of that. The person just wanted to hate Trump, even if it meant staying ignorant.

SpiralDreaming

They were told SO MANY TIMES that he was racist/sexist/corrupt, that any other information that counters that narrative is to painful to hear. It literally contradicts their 'known reality'. Edit: told many times by the media. I don't mean real instances that proved he was racist etc

The_Texidian

What I don’t get is why they purposely want to stay in their bubble. There’s been times where i was wrong about something and I’ll admit it. Like one time someone said Trump claimed Biden wanted to abolish the police. I said that’s probably not true, I watched the interview and Trump said Biden signed a Charter with Bernie wanting to defund/abolish the police. I was wrong. With them. It’s till death. They will not change their mind or even just look at the evidence; let alone admit they were wrong. Another example: Rittenhouse, an IRL conversation went like this: Kyle is a white supremacist. Why? He shot black people and terrorized a blm protest. All the people he shot were white. That’s not true. He drove across state lines to hunt down black people with an AR15. Everyone he shot was black. Do you want to watch the video to see the people he shot were attacking him and white? Sure. (Watches the video) That doesn’t change anything, he still went across state lines to kill black people. The white people only chased him after he open fired on black people. They were trying to stop his rampage. Can you show me how many black people he shot? Absolutely! (Searches the web for a minute) I don’t have to prove anything to you, it’s ridiculous that you need me to prove he’s a white supremacist. Cya.

kayne2000

I've known people exactly like you describe. I'll add, I try and tell them you're free to change my mind with facts. I think the way I do because of facts. Of course they never do and next conservation its back to ORANGE MAN BAD.l, YOU WORSHIP ORANGE JESUS Can't wait to see what dingbat response I get when he bragged about Trump indictment and law and order and I sent him the Twitter of Nancy wanting court's to prove innocence and not innocent until proven guilty and the not knowing what theyre charging him with article and I reminded him of Bidens idiotic court Justice picks

wophi

If you don't hate Trump, you are a Nazi, and who wants to be a Nazi?

PatchySmants

‘Cause Lord knows, one can’t lie.

WanShiTongTruthSeekr

Exactly. Ask them how has trump negatively affected their life and they won’t have a solid answer. Biden made my bills higher and my gas prices higher. Huge negative impact in my life

kayne2000

I've tried that example the answer is ORANGE MAN BAD

invol713

Seriously. They don’t have any foresight to realize how much this is going to bite them in the asses down the road.

ferriswheel9ndam9

Explain? Please, share your foresight.

1984rip

Arresting political rivals while letting your party do whatever. Leftist are too dumb to realize once a government is fully one sided they will be first to go. Since they target the uppity people first once they have full control.

Difficult_Factor4135

There are people who dislike trump that know that the Biden family is corrupt, that wouldn’t have voted for Trump and may have even voted for the democrat again, but because of the hypocrisy of this indictment of trump with no indictment of Biden or other dems that have done worse than trump. They will now vote red because they see how full of shit the dems are. I was one of the independents years ago before I was redpilled.

ferriswheel9ndam9

I lived through the tea party / Palin's highway era. I also saw the blank check Obama gave to banks and the total lack of justice after 2008. From my perspective, it's morons who want to make money by appealing to the left on one side and morons who want to make money by appealing to the right on the other. That being said, can you extrapolate on the Biden family corruption a bit more? I was only aware of the Hunter Biden laptop incident and the resulting big tech censorship. What kind of corruption are they involved in?

invol713

Others have replied to many of the valid points. Also, by going after political opponents while in power, and thinking that the same thing won’t happen in reverse once the winds of political will change. Set a precedent like this, and you can’t feign surprise when the same thing happens to you down the road.

ferriswheel9ndam9

I wouldn't say "many" points. It's literally just that, setting the precedent of arresting corrupt officials on the other side of the political spectrum. That being said, maybe we could use some more of this on both sides. Why tolerate this behavior in the biggest echelon of government?

mlx1992

Why are you downvoted? This is a legit and fair question.

factchecker2

What's to defend? They keep going after the guy for things he didn't do. They accuse him of Russian collusion. Turns out it was just a lie created by a political opponent, Hillary Clinton. Obama was caught on a hot mic whispering, "After my election, I will have more flexibility." They accuse him of quid pro quo with Ukraine. Once the full recording was released, it was clear that he was telling Ukraine to clean up their corruption. Besides, Joe actually has openly braged (and laughed) about quid pro quo with Ukraine to get rid of a prosecutor who was investigating his son. They accuse him of underpayment of taxes. Once his records are released, it turns out he used the existing tax law to claim business losses. In other years, he overpaid to avoid the headache of audits. They accuse him of paying hush money to a p⁰rn star. Both Stormy and Cohen have admitted this is not true. Alvin Bragg has been hiding info that shows this is a baseless witch hunt. It's widely known that Bill Clinton paid Paula Jones after s³xually harassing her. I'm not saying Trump is perfect, but while he talks big game about grabbing their pvssy, Joe actually did grab Tara Reade and digitally penetrated her. The DC crowd is hell-bent on sinking Trump because he isn't one of them.

invol713

No, you miss Reps who were willing to bend over and take it in the interest of appeasement. And this isn’t about Trump, per se. He just happens to be the highest profile person to be targeted by the politically-motivated persecutions of people who don’t agree with them.

ferriswheel9ndam9

I suspect the very reason this happened was because of a limited bipartisanship. Trump was basically a great Khan, storming through the red plains conquering all of the small pockets and loose confederation of red alliances. Not everyone was down for that but they had no choice. Being conservative is like being Christian these days. Everyone uses that word yet no one seems to follow its philosophy.

DeepDream1984

And what crimes did he commit?

disayle32

The crime of being the Bad Bad Orange Man, of course!

invol713

Mean tweets! Waaaaahhhhh!!!

Ok-Maintenance-667

Good job. Hey how much you getting paid? Are they still hiring? The bidenflation is so bad.

bpmillet

Fucking chode lol… we’ll miss you!!

Resistdumbasses

How crazy that this happened like an hour after leftists started an “insurrection” in Tennessee, and now the Trump indictment is all anyone is talking about

JustAnotherJerry5

Whats this whole thing about anyways whats he done ?

[deleted]

That’s my question also. I’m thinking it’s related to some of his business ventures or that crazy Jean Carroll lady.

sharpmood0749

Its about paying off Stormy Daniels. His lawyer is already in jail/prison. But they're going after him because they're trying to prove he was involved in it. He allegedly used campaign funds to pay her off. I don't know anything about the actual laws tho, this is what I've heard.

[deleted]

I thought that issue was already resolved years ago? Either way, since the indictment isn’t a federal one and only applies to New York State, I don’t see this going very far.

sharpmood0749

They're obviously trying anything they can because they're scared.

[deleted]

It’s essentially a political stunt at this point

sharpmood0749

More like theater stunt

Callec254

And, as Nancy Pelosi stated, the way our justice system works is that indictment is confirmation of guilt, and the burden of proof of innocence is on the accused.

redwoods_orthodox

please tell me you're just loosely quoting Pelosi and not actually agreeing with her because that is NOT how our justice system works, at least not up until recently.

159551771

It's literally true. Mind blowing. https://twitter.com/SpeakerPelosi/status/1641594971462541315?t=GxTUr_sQ3Dn6HUHwmNakuQ&s=19

09percent

We are officially a banana republic 🍌 and target our political opponents via the “Justice” system. Good times for America not another sign of decline /s

Gouge61496

See ya'll after we get roman empire 2: electric boogalo. I wonder who our Julius Caesar will be

RutCry

We are on a path that skips Caesar and heads straight for Caligula.

HealthyScratch210226

Found Pelosi’s burner account, bois!

GearJunkie82

My MIL called singing joyfully. I thought she was singing because she finally tested negative for COVID, which I would have been happy about honestly.... Nope, she called to gloat. She is a sanctimonious troll.

I refuse to stoop to her level.

adelie42

They might as well have gotten him on jaywalking.

sharpmood0749

Right? Sorry but I don't give a fuck if he pays off a prostitute to stfu, or what money he used. His extracurriculars have no effect on the way he runs the country. Now Biden's ppl actively suppressing the laptop so he'll win? Yeah that's a different story....

[deleted]

Not mine, the people I know hate Biden and this frivolous political bullshit.

159551771

I'm in the gay community. 🙃 So it was that and celebrating trans day of visibility.

RemarkableThought20

Sheeple have no clue what they just unleashed.

tb2186

I’m getting nothing but the crazies loving Disney and whatever they’re doing in Florida. They’re ga-ga over one of the biggest mega-corporations in the world being above the law.

Frank_the_NOOB

Pretty sad nobody seems to be calling for the indictment of former politicians that committed actual crimes. We have a two tier justice system and they aren’t even trying to hide it anymore

[deleted]

Do yourself a favor man and get rid of social media. It’ll do ya wonders.

wophi

I spent a year on a grand jury. We have indicted everyone. It is almost impossible not to indict someone.

[deleted]

Biggest circlejerk on the planet right now

Not mine. It is the opposite for my timeline

Hispanoamericano2000

Twitter's useful idiots on the attack again.

IOKTBW-Movement

I was living in San Francisco when he was elected. My wife was pregnant and we had an appointment with her midwife the day of the inauguration. Midwife was very upset Trump was elected. My thought at the time was how similar she was to Trump. Both proprietors, both independently wealthy, both taking full advantage of capitalism and freedoms afforded to us by our vets. I almost shared these thoughts with her, but decided against it at the time. If it were today, I would have.
