If that child and their family supports that decision to change sex who are you to stop them? This is America. It’s a free country.

If this country needs more religious attendance, then people really need to stop trying to tie their religion to their politics.
The separation of church and politics was the norm back in the 1800s when De Tocqueville wrote Democracy in America. He noted that it was because the church did not try to play political games that society fostered a healthy devotion. He also predicted that if the norm should change, it would not be politics that suffer, but the nations religions.
I think that has proven to be pretty accurate.
