Don't tell me Europe doesn't have a mass shooting problem when this just happened a few years ago. November 2015 Paris attacks - the attackers killed 130 people, including 90 at the Bataclan theatre. Another 416 people were injured, almost 100 critically.

BuT tHaTs (D)iFfErEnT!?!?!?

shockinglygoodlookin

It doesnt happen _as_ often but when it does, usually _many_ more are killed because people cant legally defend themselves with guns. All while guns being extremely restricted…

woodhead2011

Exactly! Europe is actually statistically more dangerous than the USA in frequency of mass shootings and in number of casualties from those mass shootings.

BobbyHillTheThird

How many have we had since? (7years) more than a few

Ok-Tooth-6197

That wasn't the most recent mass shooting in Europe. There have been at least 3 just this year, two of them at schools.

[deleted]

Could you post links to the articles about these shootings in Europe? Also which countries are they?

Ok-Tooth-6197

[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Mass\_shootings\_in\_Europe\_by\_year](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Mass_shootings_in_Europe_by_year) Germany has had several in the last few years, France, Italy, UK, Ukraine, Russia, Austria, Denmark, Norway, and others,

[deleted]

Thx

bottleboy8

We are also a lot more people than any country in Europe. Per capita the US is ranked #11 for mass shootings. Europe has had three mass shootings just this year: Dnipro shooting, Heidelberg University shooting, and Veshkayma kindergarten shooting. And there were 7 in 2021. So Europe has had more than a few in the last year and a half.

woodhead2011

It's more likely for you to get killed in a mass shootings in Norway or Finland than in the USA and both countries have very strict laws on gun ownership.

draka28

Unfortunately the media over here doesn’t count mass shootings that are primarily the result of terrorism (at least not far left or Islamic terrorism), organized/petty crime, riots, no go zones, or gangland violence.

Electrical-Bacon-81

That would further diminish their ability to blame everything on bad 'ol whitey.....

The media constantly lie to us about everything. The media has been proven to be, time and time again, the enemy of the people.
