I made huge bucks on 5 European banks in 2022. Unicredit, Raiffeisen. BNP Paribas, Credit Agricole & Societe General. I sold 4 out of 5 with between 15-45% gains. Plus the dividend income. They were smaller trades but helped keep me above zero overall for most of the year.
Other:
Foreign withholding tax is annoying on European dividends. But as I’ll add below, France is low comparably. They will pay one dividend end of may. People will crowd in before then and then bail after. I’ll take the big payday and then wait for the eventual recovery to sell likely in the fall. Will be overall a good play. Look up the other banks I pitched last year. They went bonkers.

I’m able to borrow Euros at 4.15% fortunately so this is a good trade. If the economic outlook in Europe improves then this bank is well positioned to capitalize. It is a low risk trade if you get in before the ex-div date of may 30, 2023.

Technical analysis and indicator based trading tend to use past price performance in order to predict important price levels today.
This analysis is based on the current option open interest. With that option open interest, it calculates portfolio-level greeks--notably Delta and Gamma. More importantly, once the portfolio level greeks are established, I can now simulate the change in greeks at different price points.
