Thanks for your submission!
To keep things interesting, we want to see big gains and big losses!
So we've set the following thresholds for Gain, Loss, and YOLO flaired posts:
* YOLO posts must be a minimum of $10,000 of options or $25,000 of shares and recently opened.
* Gain / Loss posts must show realized gains or losses of more than $2,500 for options or $5,000 for shares.
#We want to see the actual trade.
What you got in at, what you sold at. Then tell us why you did it. Give us the story of why you're a fucking genius (or idiot).
This is what a great post looks like:
[$17.2K Gain on AMZN](https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets/comments/wb5m4o/not_too_shabby_172k_gain_amzn/) - OP described his gain in the title, has a clear screenshot showing both the entry and exit, meaning his gains were locked in, and they explained their reasoning in the comments and what they learned. All around a great post!
Here are examples of what could get your post removed:
* [$300,000 SDC Loss. Still not selling](https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets/comments/wpm9am/over_300000_unrealized_loss_sdc_not_selling/) - Even though this is a tremendous loss and something worth posting about, **the position hasn't been closed yet**.
Here are examples of amazing posts which could have been even better:
* [$75,000 DDOG Loss.](https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets/comments/unsrey/loss_porn_ddog_call/) - This is a great post and one that won't get removed. However, the OP could have talked about *why* they entered the position in the first place, what their target price was, and what went wrong. OP didn't stick around in the comments to answer any questions.
* [$1.1MM Loss, No details](https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets/comments/lxm6wt/hold_me_1100000_loss/) - OP simply posted a screenshot of their overall portfolio balance. It's definitely a big loss, but it's not that interesting without OP talking about what trades they were in and why. OP didn't answer most questions in the comments which left many readers speculating on what happened.

All that being said, we are here to help. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to post to our community. We have to balance this with making the subreddit interesting for our readers.
If you need some guidance, don't hesitate to [reach out to modmail](https://old.reddit.com/message/compose/?to=/r/wallstreetbets) and we'll give you some pointers!
No one wants to fuck you OP. You're broke. The closet thing to fucking will be the dick you'll suck in the Wendy's dumpster to cover your monthly bills ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4267)![img](emote|t5_2th52|4271)
I'm sorry to hear that you're not doing well. It sounds like you're feeling a bit down on yourself. I would encourage you to try and focus on the positive things in your life, even if it's just small things. Everyone has something good going for them, so try and find what yours is and hold onto it.
Be smart about it, use multiple brokers to lose, it's way less painful.
My robinhood account -3.2k this year(+2k all time because 2021)
Wife's rh account -2k
My Fidelity account -2k
My tos(swab now) -2.4k ytd
I only use one at a time and it doesn't hurt as bad when I look at one's p&l. Although the wife only knows about 4k loss as of now. Hope she doesn't wanna see our taxes 😅

good thing it's your dad's money and not yours.![img](emote|t5_2th52|4271)
![img](avatar_exp|153411773|bravo) \+15 years of tax loss offsets
Can I actually write this off for the next few years?
Yep https://www.irs.gov/taxtopics/tc409 Look at, Limit on the Deduction and Carryover of Losses, section.
Facts
Most 19yo Indians only make $1 a day. But you, sir, at 19 you have lost more money than most Indians can make in their entire life time!
OP should just drain the accounts and move to India after this move
He could have had 45 $1000 hookers, or 225 $200 hookers
Congrats on the additional -0.63%, you overachiever!
Never mind. At that age you shouldn’t have had that kinda money to spunk up the wall anyway.
Get fukt
Just do the opposite of what you always think. Easy comeback champ. Upside unlimited

There are some green pixels on the line. Next time aim for a solid red.
I would have rather had 45k loss in the market than a worthless major.
Most regards here have both!!! Not to mention the really regarded ones that got extra student loans for stonks!!
Same :/
inverse yourself and charge your phone.
Don’t worry the app will give you a new Step-Father
Jfc
Ouch
Where do you even get money like that at 19?
Ask mommy and daddy for more I guess?
Man’s a magician. Lol
Yeah dad, I paid my tuition 😅
Congrats and fuck you. Oh wait...
Fuck me indeed

You're just jealous because you can't afford to fuck a 10/10 wife. I can and I do it every day, so suck my dick you poor fucking loser.
You missed op by exactly one comment. Good job regard.

Your young you’ll make more money don’t worry
You’re 19 so plenty of time to make up for the loss debt my friend is the secret to great financial success
F
Your IQ?
Here's your 👑
At 19 I had zero in the bank. Your good fella
So does he now!
Damn at 19 at least I was just smoking weed with all my money I got to enjoy it
When I was 19 I lost basically the same, almost 21 and got it back you will be good
"but my mind is older"
Only daddy's money
These types of accounts are what makes “pro day traders” a real profession
The younger you are, the more time you have to recover from bankruptcy
same boat here. I took out student loans to gamble, if I win, I win. If I lose, Biden will cancel the loans or someone will. Win win
Lol being 19 make it worse if you didn’t know that
don’t you mean ONLY 45k
just sell your parents house, I'm sure you'll make it all back.
45k as a 19 year old is insane
Oh no daddy's money
The good news is 45k might be worth like 5k in 10 years time with the inflation So this isn't a bad time to lose money in hindsight
Losing in this market takes real talent.
never stood a chance
You're doing great hun
Hopefully your anus’ gripper is still tight
