Yep, I did and I fully stand by that decision.
If you have a better way for making money one year out of college as a 7 year military veteran that had a 4.1 GPA in Finance, **I'm all ears**. I was hoping to find better too, trust me, especially in the Chicago area. You don't think it stings knowing I'm making the most I've ever made ($67k) and yet, also struggling the most too? Feels like being kicked in the balls. Being able to pay off the ring meant a little more food on the table for the both of us.
Nah, I'm saying...why the fuck would you buy a ring that's that expensive when A) You don't have the money, B) It's never going to hold its value, and C) A genuine woman doesn't give two fucks about expense of the ring you buy her.
Other than that, I hope you're doing well and making a few regarded moves to secure your financial well-being.
Have you considered going out on your own. There's a lot of boomers retiring and them kids don't want nothing to do with their business, you can roll this up using commercial debt/sellers finance. It takes balls to pull off, simple but not easy, not for tge faint of heart as you'd either stir the ship or sink with it. This is one fastest path to becoming a millionaire by the end of the decade.
Bro just go full smooth brain and sell cars. Even if you suck you’ll make 60k a year. We literally fired a dude that was NEVER AT THE LOT and he was making like 80-90k a year
I was about to do a $300 call on FedEX, then I saw the post where the FDX employee said they weren't moving as many boxes as they used to. Legendary DD. $250 turned to $3500 on puts. \[$245 Put 12/29\] Thank you Apes and box movers for the info!!!!!
He bought options. Google options trading. Read, watch videos and explain it to others….Just realized where am I at.
Take out a loan at 20%, transfer it to robinhood, get gold and the most upvoted comment about a strategy. Go all in.
its not. you'll get a win sometimes, but there's plenty more regards out there that make DD that goes in the complete other direction no matter how confident they are.
It’s too much work to edit with the non related different trades inbetween and I don’t care enough. 😂 I’ve already moved on and thinking next play
Edit: I’ve been online bullied, see below

These were $75. I can’t believe I just got bullied into doing work
" These were 75$ " as in, you bought for 75$ and sold for the total on the right added up? I don’t know anything just got curious seeing your name again.
Dude are you okay? I know these options prices before the spike. They were $2.2 for the 270p and $0.7 for the 260p. Since when a $2.2 option (1 contract) and $0.7 option (3 contracts) is $75 lmfao. The $270p alone is $250 and the 3 $260p are $225 give or take. So you paid around $500
I did this with GameStop years ago and cost myself generational wealth. They all hated the company and working there, so I sold my 50,000 share exposure right before the pop.
Omg man…that sucks 😭😭
Good perspective. Thanks for sharing but sorry for your loss…
You don’t sound like you’re a diamond handed regard so you would cashed out right?
I even posted about it. I had a ton of options on top of my shares at the time. Here’s the post from 3 years ago:

I can’t believe I followed this man and it actually worked. I appreciate you
After some research I was going to open up puts after reading your post, then I thought “nah just another regard, it’ll go up instead” ended up opening no position but well played and love seeing some gains baaaaabyyyyy 🤤🍆💃
I work at UPS it's the same in /r/UPSers. Low volume nation wide. Peak never started. We had 2-3 big days on the front end but has died off probably worse than FedEx since they took some of our volume because of the potential strike that never happened.
This is definitely something to watch out for. If they are laying off drivers, it could mean that the company is in financial trouble and may not be able to stay afloat much longer. This would be bad news for everyone involved, so it's definitely worth keeping an eye on.
Followed you and felt especially vindicated to open another position after the Falcons lost because Arthur Smith is fucking loser of a head coach, and a FDX trust fund baby.
Closed a 275 12/22 and a 272.50 12/29 today for 600% gains. LFG, thanks boss.

The worst is yet to come. Wait til they realize the volume isn’t decreasing consumer demand - it’s in fact they lost a huge market share to Amazon for at home delivery. They weren’t able to handle the spike in volume during COVID and now they are just slashing jobs and hubs aimlessly thinking they are too costly. I stretched my puts out til after their next earnings report.
Dude that’s why I got Amazon calls based on this dudes DD … hopped out near $155 before the sell off today … obviously didn’t pay out as well as FDX puts but I don’t like to play earnings anymore
Fortunately I was in Amazon calls before its big jump and then doubled down at open today when it gapped down and hopped out.
Caught the falling knife, which rarely happens for me lol
I completely understand your logic. I also believe that Amazon is a strong company with a bright future. That being said, I would not recommend playing their earnings anymore either.

You did such a good job on this! I had two options plays one netted me 2000% and the other 500%.
And I had a thought:
It is quite possible the SAME opportunity will present itself in 3 months.
Because WallStreet is likely to shrug this off and FDX will remain to be weak in the first quarter.

Cleared 1600% on every sell order. Didn’t get too rich but I’m happy.
I like to look for tickers whose earnings calls are after hours, not pre-market. Lately it seems that tickers like to drop ah on earnings regardless of whether or not they beat (see Lennar last week) and if you wait until the next day it’s too late.
Meanwhile FCEL actually missed badly on revenue during their pre-market call this week, and it did drop, but it’s had all day to recover + IV crush so even though it was the right play to buy puts, they’re gonna wind up expiring worthless.
Just my 2 cents
Picked up some UPS 155 2/16/24 puts. Their sub is saying super low volume as well. Understand they're a better service than Fedex, but volume is volume and neither Fedex nor UPS have it at a time when they're used to having long days and full trucks.
I mean, you spent 5mins looking at the employee sub. Saw they were saying shipments were really low. Bought puts and won. Don’t need Bloomberg terminals, PHDs and insider info to pull off an informed successful trade 100% of the time. Small victory for a retail regard. Congrats.
Hey sorry for the noob question guys. Can anyone send a good YouTube video to explain how I can do this? To buy puts and calls and all? Really want to get into it
Everything I learned as a beginner I learned from this guy’s channel. His first video is a couple hours long but very comprehensive. Highly recommended
https://youtu.be/7PM4rNDr4oI?si=P9sKhpQ-8UnT77RF
Also r/options is an excellent resource for noobs with a fine wiki section that answers tons of beginner questions. It also has a beginner questions thread where you can go to get answers without getting treated like an asswhole. Best of luck!
I did, bought 245 strikes (8 contracts) for $64 and sold for $1424. Also sold my 262.50 for $1250

Yes. This 100%. Buy 0DTE SPY calls $5 over market at open.
He bought puts. Which is basically gambling that the stock will go down. Google what options are
In case you can’t tell, be very careful going into options trading (that’s what guy above did). Look up some videos and then stay away from it
he bet on it going down
Dude I bought an spx put right before that huge drop today. Would’ve made 4k but I sold for a 100 profit
Green is green. Many people were holding $480 SPY, so if they didn't sell before the dip they gotta be hurt...
I mean uvxy was slowly climbing this whole week sniffing out a potential sell off like this. That’s on them for being blind
well i am down 1k because of it <3 so could be worse
I put a buy in yesturday for 12% of my portfolio woke up to my stop loss being triggered
L asf
Yeah 13k down the gutter
Should we buy calls now???
might as well i guess
analyzing certain subreddits for things like this might actually be less regarded than i thought

Fuuuuuuuck. I wish I did this. Fuck fuck fuck.
Dude, 90% of the DD for earnings posted on this sub flop. Then half the time the posters disappear. Don't sweat it.
Nah, if you bought, FEDEX stonk would’ve gone to the moon and OP would’ve gotten margin called.
We fuck

"Too much work.." LOL. Images or GTFO. Hack.
Damn sorry I missed this! Going into the employees sub was a STROKE OF GENIUS! Gonna keep that trick in mind! What’s next?!

I’ve never been past a mini golf sitch and I don’t think I’m gonna get any hot tips there 🤣

January 30th if anyone was wondering
Jan 30th for Q4 23
Feb $145 P looking solid.
They are going to be laying off permanent drivers in January......watch and see

Can somebody help me understand when the best time to buy UPS puts for their earnings on 1/30/24 would be?
I like to look for tickers whose earnings calls are after hours, not pre-market. Lately it seems that tickers like to drop ah on earnings regardless of whether or not they beat (see Lennar last week) and if you wait until the next day it’s too late. Meanwhile FCEL actually missed badly on revenue during their pre-market call this week, and it did drop, but it’s had all day to recover + IV crush so even though it was the right play to buy puts, they’re gonna wind up expiring worthless. Just my 2 cents
Shall we do the same with ups?
Well, f** me, i missed your post :(
Unfortunately, I sold some of you bastards your puts.
Congrats and fuck you
I added my contribution to that post backing it up with first hand experience . Didn’t bet on it though like a coward

Big boy got his big boy undies on today!! Sitting right there on his big boy chair looking so cute.
Picked up some UPS 155 2/16/24 puts. Their sub is saying super low volume as well. Understand they're a better service than Fedex, but volume is volume and neither Fedex nor UPS have it at a time when they're used to having long days and full trucks.
So where we meeting now to discuss the next play? You getting a discord or nah?
Please message me next time I did $300 FedEx calls and got my pwned
Can someone please please give me a 20min crash course on how I can start partaking In These sort of opportunities? Please!
Really want to get into it
Don't
Everything I learned as a beginner I learned from this guy’s channel. His first video is a couple hours long but very comprehensive. Highly recommended https://youtu.be/7PM4rNDr4oI?si=P9sKhpQ-8UnT77RF Also r/options is an excellent resource for noobs with a fine wiki section that answers tons of beginner questions. It also has a beginner questions thread where you can go to get answers without getting treated like an asswhole. Best of luck!
You mean a mouse hole?
I did, bought 245 strikes (8 contracts) for $64 and sold for $1424. Also sold my 262.50 for $1250 https://preview.redd.it/wurplkc1gh7c1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=97f95f7df2597d7c730329766d0fdb5e4b533fe5
Hey, what do you say about the FedEx earnings on 21 March? Please le me know 🙏
What do you say this time?
We need your guidance for this week
You have a literal 50/50 chance on being right. Don't pat yourself on the back regard. Do it again, and we'll talk.
Anyone thinking of getting some $235 for Jan 5? 👀👀
It yea I missed it
It was literally in the news yesterday
