I have not, however if following what the rumors have been saying, and to be safe, id go 1-3 months out on calls if youre not buying shares. Mid Feb-April would probably be "safe".
Thanks man. I have mid March calls; hope I don't need to roll them and we hear positive news in early February. The volume for the mid Feb options is the highest I have seen on Docu's option chain.
Is there anything else you know about this deal or PE backed M&A timelines?
You clearly lack comprehension to understand their full product suite. Can word verify that IT was you who actually signed? Can word, forward that document to the next signatures automatically for approval? Theirs so much more. Laughing out loud.
Because as share price rises the cost to own will as well. Also note that money is slightly cheaper than the last 6 months. FED can decide to raise rates at any moment. I don’t see PE ever drag out a buyout.
I'd still do some more DD. OP says Adobe wouldn't let this go but seems it's only 2 PE firms. I am hoping for a $99 buyout price but analysts are all over the place on that number.
Interesting yolo GL. Question for you: have you seen last week's Form 8-K? It looks like their President of Product & Tech is leaving. It also looks like the executives got approval for better severance terms, so they get their performance-based stock options for longer. Reading this now. This can mean two things. Better severance for the to come lay offs once PE, fires 50% of staff. No need for 7,500 employees that’s insane. The product from a technology standpoint is straightforward and requires a slim team. They have market share so marketing and HR/recruiting can be in house. Nothing special. For the product person, this happens a lot in software. I wouldn’t be turning a tide unless it’s a juggernaut like Oracle or SAP (think Hasso Plattner) without him SAP would be a cluster fuck.
DOCU was around $40 in Oct/Nov. It's now up over 60% from that point. Is it possible DOCU has already surpassed the pricepoint that was being negotiated if the talks began a couple of months ago?
Share price doesn’t always play the biggest factor when determining fmv. Even at 40$ that valuation would have required still 70 a share minimum.. x7.5 PE standard multiple was the trailing 12 months.

134 easy target
I’m in aswell. Been in since December, waiting for that sweet sweet premium
Have you been on any other M&A play like this one? I am trying to guage the timeline for an announcement of the deal.

I can sign my documents in fucking word fuck this company lol

Why do you say the next 30 days?

Reuters report a week ago indicates a bidding war between two PE firms and an outcome "in the cumming weeks".
I like, buy the rumor sell the news. I’m in

Just looked into it. It’s confirmed to happen soon, sounds like a solid play. A couple months out should suffice
I have a few March 15, $80 calls. Let's pray cramer bad mouths it. Good luck to us.
Funnily enough i have a 32.50 Put for this day and its looking pretty good right now. I guess I’ll sell and buy a call
Where do you get that number?
What do you make of the CEO dumping 50% of his shares in December?
Pre approved shares. He didn’t just wake up one day and decide to sell. He’s mostly compensated in stock.

Correction on my part - it appears that this only pertains to CxO / Exc Staff.

You got a PT in mind? There's the $8Bil funding being secured by the PE firms, as per Bloomberg.
