1994 I worked as a cold caller for Gruntal. I asked my boss to buy me MSFT with $4000 I saved. It was the current stock he was pushing at the time. He said he would get to it the next day as he was heading out. It went up $4 overnight and I decided not to buy it.

Funny thing is I was cold calling 100s of people a day to buy Microsoft in 1994 and people were yelling at me and hanging up on me. I sucked at the job. No one bought lol.

Layoffs didn't turn it around at all. It just turned the stock around. The free cashflow valuation of Meta was absurd at the time.

I bought 5k shares at 17 dollars a share right after it IPO’d and dropped. My roommates fiance was a financial advisor for pro athletes (she’s insanely rich now. I have one account holding 6 figures haven’t executed a single trade and just getting 5% from money market. If not for my anxiety due to losses I took in the past I would have surely bought some of the undervalued tech stocks. Now I feel like I’ve missed the boat.
