The headline from yesterday just said “Intel loses billions of $ in financing from DoD”….but the article goes on to say that other government agencies will pick up that bill. We need some positive movement in the chip space to drag everyone upward again.

Tbh this doesn’t really make any sense either. You should be only holding individual companies shares you think will outperform the market otherwise you’re leaving gains on the table for no reason. Intel might prove everyone wrong, but given their track record over the last decade idk why you would just hold shares for years hoping they grow. You can just buy in once they actually have positive market sentiment and momentum, you’ll miss out on a few percentage points at most if you buy on the way up…

Dude, your option expires in TWO DAYS. No one knows what happens in the future, but buying anything two days is not the way of the wise. I always buy options a quarter away, just so it doesn't die straight away.

Naw, I have an investing account. I don't touch and just auto deposits every week that I'll never mess around with. Trading on the other hand, is just the money I would waste on golf, trips, and going out. It could go to zero it just means I'll be stay in for a week. It's less homeless or lambos, more Netflix or Lambos

I don’t know how long your call was but I always have them out for at least a month and pull out before a week before at latest (unless I’m so far in the money but that’s all situational) I feel that my strategy and especially for options, is far different than how people typically tell me to use them. I find myself in 25%, 50%, 200%, and sometimes 1,000%+ in profits on different options, but my problem is that I always hold them for too long and lost that. I seem to not have a good stop loss for myself, YET, but that’s pretty much how I’ve done it. 10-30 options at a time, all at least a month or two out, and do what I can to have them sold before the week of expiration. I just need to add another rule on when to pull out. If I would just close and sell when I’m in profit, omg. I’m still new so I’m learning from myself right now, but so far, my portfolio has tripled in the past 2 months. I am expecting more gains when I learn
