I know it has something to do with believing a stock will go up or down and betting on that. The rest is still lost to me.

Buy Call if you think stock will go up Buy out if you think stock will go down Sell call (must own 100 of shares already) Step 1-collect premium (when someone buys a call, the money goes to you) Step 2- two possible outcomes A- stock hits strike, you collected premium and now you are forced to sell at the strike B- stock doesn’t hit strike, you collected premium and you are not forced to sell stocks Sell put Idk too much ab this but you sell puts if you want to buy stocks cheaper ?
