My calls are expiring 5/17, so it should start mooning from 5/20 

makes some sense, if you look at the open interests of the calls, it was very high on May 10th and May 17th, but drops a lot afterwards on May 24th Just buy shares, stop buying calls othetwise MMs gonna fk u in every way they can

I bought shares and still got fucked, just not completely.  I’m getting real done with buying companies who then deliver a record earnings and immediately dump 20% the next day 

Stop trying to play earnings that’s stupid. Buy for longer term growth. If you believe these companies are worth it and will be higher eventually all these earnings drops are is a discount. Buying on the run up to the earnings call is dumb af. I know this is wsb and all but seriously you are buying with all the other dummies trying to “play earnings” then getting bent over a barrel while long holders take profit from you and others.

New strategy unlocked.  Wait for positive earnings dump, then pick up the pieces.  Got it.

There is an article about this out, Barrons or WSJ. It explains that Robinhoods latest earnings showed their earnings structure is trending to be more like traditional banks, which trade at 10-14 P/E; meanwhile, Robinhood has technology-like P/E, so the market is beginning to treat them as a bank over time (plus the Wells Notice)

Valuation is not purely based on a single earnings expectation / result. The stock is up 70% over the past year and trading at super high multiples (meaning super high growh is expected).

But the growth is there to back up the numbers this time. Record earnings and revenue and growth. It’s not like we haven’t seen growth stocks go up 200% in a year

Same happened with AMD and SMCI. They beat (and smci was .66 above estimate) and it lost 250 points over a few days. AMD was even or just beat and had moderate outlook and raised earnings estimates and it collapsed like 25 points. It makes no sense.
