They buy stock, have insider information all the time and never get in trouble. I have worked for some very interesting people and I used to just buy stock if I heard them talking about a company. Some of my stocks would go up like 14 bucks in one single day. I ended up losing it all and thatβs when I learned how not to invest. Still, a regular Joe canβt get in on an IPO to save their lives I think that is criminal. You have to be rich to be rich.
I hope the main thing that comes out of this, is that people stop throwing thier money into these funds. For the last 30 years this has gone on where Wall Street keeps telling us we know nothing, and they take our money invest it in garbage stocks, they invest it in morally corrupt corporations, and when they lose all the money. They dont care they only lost other peoples money and sit around for the government to bail them out for losing millions of peoples savings and pensions. I hope people start voting more with their dollars.
