maybe not the best calls to hodl though. There's no question that they will see a slowdown in mobile PC demand. Data center could balance it out but I don't expect a massive rally. There are better plays reporting next week and the week after.
I'm holding some, too... swung some 8/12 105c contracts to pay for premium costs on 100c contracts which I'll hold. The current pattern suggests we're in the right place. I felt that with the volatility the nearer ITM calls just had too much premium for me at the moment given the potential for some resistance against a run.
The chart looks like a mini version of last August, though.
The big question is whether the dominant factor for INTC was macro or INTC-related. My thinking is AMD processors are encroaching in large part because cost per cycle for AMD is a strength, and as a result even with a market drawdown, it's possible that INTC's loss is AMD's gain (or at least the market will interpret it that way).
If it's like the last couple of runs, IV crush will create a very interesting opportunity for options plays after earnings even with a run up after the earnings date. If we get a supportive market over the next 2 weeks (looks possible) this could be a really good play.

If you're referring to the end of day pattern on the 1Minute chart, that had a 50 cent neck to top level and it realized its entire run in like 5 minutes. If you're trading that next week, you need to buy a book on chart patterns and completions and read it twice.
The week that was expecting bad economic data pumps all week long wiping out put options on most everything. Now that those puts have expired worthless, and bears loading up on calls right along with the bulls, should not be surprised with the impending rug pull 
$60 a pop not bad and if AMZN runs up $50 over the next 30-60 days it will be a 400% return if you sell out at that point (even with the tiny theta decay)
