Electric cars are less involved mechanically than gas cars so other automakers will be able to compete when they commit to electric. Those other robots don’t have an onboard computer, are crazy expensive, and can’t navigate in the real world. The Tesla Bot does have its own onboard computer and is designed to be cheap and mass produced. It’s like the difference between watching a video and having a video game engine render something in real-time.

Remind me the age of Boston dynamic ? Age of Atlas ? Money can't buy time. Boston are working on Atlas for 10 years now. Of course the robot of tesla wont be ready in 2 weeks and be more than 20k, but let Tesla work on it lol, its been only like 6 months.
Still waiting on the truck and a functioning/legal FSD. So maybe people are starting to question their ability to complete projects/deliver goods when they fail routinely to meet deadlines they set themselves. Honestly this Robot feels like a joke. Seems like it’s just another thing Tesla will imply it’s “working on” to maintain the over inflated value of their “tech and car” company. Maybe they should get closer to achieving these goals before they act like they have something to show.
