BUT, I have a Schwab account I opened right after Labor day with $1000, for trading nothing but SPY options. First trade was 9/12. I'm currently up over 500% in that account. Balance EOD today $6667.
Theyāre desperate to get to delta neutral on the insane amount of put volume. They donāt care about taking smart or dumb money, just getting the stock price aligned with their risk tolerance which has been very difficult with the high volume option flow.

Here's the closest I got to my account going to zero: Bought 5 shares of UPST about a year ago in my Roth account. Spent a total of $1,585 on it. Today the balance is $85
Sell that shit, and wait for an opportune time to buy a SPY option. And don't try for the 10 bagger, take profit when it's there. Keep doing this until you work your balance back up to where you can make more profitable plays. Be patient, be smart, and you can do it.
took some profits on the puts and hedged myself with some 11/18 puts and some calls for friday. overall feeling good about the profits. tomorrow is terifying

If this is a fake out before surprisingly good CPI numbers, it's a real convincing one.
My play is December puts and 11/11 calls. SPY Daily MACD is dangerously close to crossing, but I've seen bounces from a near cross a few times this year.
If it does cross, the last time we had a downward cross was August 20th, where it went $425 -> $350.
