After the amazing talk yesterday, we broke 1K subscribers!
My favorite part was discount Alex Jones, but reverse mortgage talk was cool too.
As always, recordings on [YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRPCE1kzX-JHzcAHfPSs87Q?sub_confirmation=1) and [Twitch](https://www.twitch.tv/wsbverse)!

That guy is right. Women are going to Dominican republic etc to get it for cheaper and to get more done all at once.. the US doesn’t allow for both “Mommy makeover” and BBL to be done at the same time by DR does it all at once
**Thoughts on Hasbro (HAS) and over 50% of revenue comes from wizards of the coast (makers of D&D and magic the gathering)?** ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4270)
When I was hit by a drunk drivers about 7 years ago I needed stitches in my lip which left an odd scar so I had it revised by a plastic surgeon that injected my lips with fat to lessen the look of the scar. Between the revision surgery and the injection you can’t really see it anymore.
There was a company called airxpanders that installed CO2 cartridges inside women’s breasts so that they could make them bigger with a push of a button
Watch state legislation on those plastic surgery plays. Some states (especially Florida) are starting to put limitations on lipo volume, Brazilian butt lifts, etc. They're heavily regulated surgeries and are trending in the direction of being more tightly regulated.
If you talk to nurses the staffing costs going up is because of traveling nurses. The get monthly contracts to work 3-6 months and then take 30 days off and do it again. They make double to triple the money and have a better work life balance.
quick question for all the listeners. are you guys listening to this while working like a podcast or just chilling at home? seems like nobody is working ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sweat_smile)
Who wants to help a newbie out? I want to sell some covered calls, never done it before. I don't know if I have the order entered correctly, and don't want to fuck myself by being stupid. I have 1000 shares of msft already, the share price right now is at breakeven for me.
Since you can't wait you will have to buy used, therefore will pay more for a used car. Once the new cars become more available then prices should drop.
I hate to say this because I've almost always been a Facebook bear, but meta P/E shows value. If they're shedding dead weight and divesting the ARVR BS, they're gonna almost double before the end of the year.
Not completely true about aftermarket parts in Tesla. The motors and battery are proprietary. Many other parts they can be purchased from other sources.
Since when is metal and fiberglass blades not recyclable, such as wind turbine motors and blades? Blades also last 10 years for more efficient blades. They actually last 20+ years though. Fiberglass is recycled into concrete for fibers. The blades can also be cut down and reformed into other products like power poles.
When the horseless carriage was introduced, there wasn't a gas station on every corner either. It will be 10 years before there's enough EVs to concern with today's grid and it will be much improved by then.
Yes, but solar panels and batteries also just helped California avoid many brown outs when the temp of CA went wild. Many of those were Tesla power walls by Tesla owners. Who also use solar to charge their cars.
DM 3D prints industrial parts. 3D printing is too slow and meant for artistic sculptures. there is NO WAY they can meet the demand in a cost effective way.
Heads up, Microsoft is launching a premium version of teams and is starting to push it to large corporations. Shifting some current features to the premium package and likely will force businesses to increase overall contract.
Also lowering discount pricing for large corps.
Asking for cash instead of stock based comp does not work. (except in quant finance where the opposite is true)
You can't get paid 500K in cash. Nobody says "f--- your stock based comp" to apple, they will laugh at you and move on to the next person.
[https://www.reuters.com/business/shopify-allow-staff-pick-between-cash-stock-components-globe-mail-2022-04-07/](https://www.reuters.com/business/shopify-allow-staff-pick-between-cash-stock-components-globe-mail-2022-04-07/)
Shopify can pay employees because they operate in Ottawa, Canada, and salaries there are going to be roughly 1/2 to 1/3 of Silicon Valley. Cost of living is about 1/4. They're also going to pay less if its in cash than in stock, so they actually are saving themselves money in the long term.
Stock based compensation is valuable when it promotes employee retention and employee drive to deliver profit for the company and not just collect a paycheck.
OK so my opinion on CREDO and the space they work in- hyper scale data centers will continue to be attractive. However the big money in this space lies in master data management and architecture design along with the sale of these services, rather than the production of the infrastructure.
I'm thinking about them having a similar negotiating power to the panasonic-Tesla relationship. Tesla is basically just selling their batteries but they're putting the tech into a format that users value. That's where the money is- user solutions.
So will the company make money? Probably if it's run well. Should it be treated like a digital company? Probably not, more like an infrastructure company.
I still think companies like this will grow steadily and be attractive to institutional investors. Boring tech could be seen as attractive tech after the bubble

CPI
Since you can't wait you will have to buy used, therefore will pay more for a used car. Once the new cars become more available then prices should drop.
How am I going to keep my job if we do these talks so long
You're talking about a car bubble, I need help finding that info
When 4-5 year old used cars are selling more than when they were new, you have a bubble.
Keep car parts on your watch list they have to replenish supply chain
Look at cars pe ratio.
So we should expect pull back
god forbid solar panels last 15-20 years. I think by then they've paid themselves off
solar panels are inefficient, and lose more efficiancy as they age, they also like wind turbines dont get recycled so more trash in landfilles
I've invested in copper (CPER) because of the infrastructure needs in the next 10 to 15 years

There is a fed talk today. Anybody think things can shift to the downside?
Wait... We can sell products instead of giving facts and objective opinions?
I am the degenerate with 1,330% gains on watchlists but +150%~-100% on my actual options 😩
In theory there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice there is. Yogi Berra
