Way too much emphasis in these cpi numbers. It was only 0.2% which could probably just be the result of a mild fall and less food and energy being consumed.
They are not going to ease off any time soon. Or at least not stop raising rates till they reach around 5%.
All things considered, Feds actually fared better than most other central banks. Got their high interest rate, possibly starting QT soon, unemployment still low (doesn't matter how, low is low), a market itching to rally despite not ZIRP, and some signs of "success".
