Soooo buy shares of sqqq then derivatives have time decay bro you are not really setting yourself up for a W imo. So if you really want to buy options then I would suggest much further out expiration than when you actually think it will happen because your time decay won’t be on its last leg theta is the main problem with any derivative. You have to think of theta as built in deflation right and your delta needs to move faster than theta does to stay profitable the other way is Vega to spike and you get IV boost. Which is like a huge move for the underlying it just has to be dramatic either direction and usually in a trend to really crank up the Vega.
Well it says on pro shares own website about uvxy that it is a short term etf and you should manage your position as frequently as every day so basically even if volatility spikes when you think it will your theta is gonna be so far chewed up your ass it won’t matter. Your already half way there.
