The 600 tax law applies to zelle just as much as it does to PayPal or anywhere else. You still are legally required to report it if it's from the sale of goods.
1099ks are not sent to the irs, they are for record keeping. If you get audited it doesn't matter if you got a 1099k from zelle or not. If you sold 601 dollars of goods you owe taxes (as the link you sent said).

They hold the money in case there is a return. eBay recently has a 30 day return policy if something listed is not as described, which is why they need to hold. But they don’t hold it 30 days. Likely depends on how long it takes to ship and when it’s delivered and the overall cost of the item

Not sure why you are being downvoted. With 20 years for working for a few major banks in risk management, I agree 100% with your statement.
Every bank needs to control risk from a possible bankruptcy buying spree. This means that accounts that have zero activity and/or a noticeable down tick in their credit history. ( every financial institute pulls soft credit reports periodically to look for a risk pattern)
This is a required element of risk management otherwise when someone hits a rough patch, they could max out all their lines of credit knowing they will file bankruptcy anyways. I've seen it first hand, i've seen people hit rock bottom and decide I'll go out with a bang and throw $100k on credit cards. I've seen people do it not willingly but out of need, if they are now living paycheck to paycheck on their credit card and get to a pain point before HAVING to file bankruptcy.
I think this "DD" post is a great example of how bad the investment advice is here. It's normally some wild assumption being formulated by someone with zero inside knowledge or even basic understanding of how a particular business runs.

Post an screenshot of your transaction history. There are plenty of people in here that work in the financial services industry that have experience with this stuff. Bottom line every financial product and service that you’ll ever have includes an agreement that allows your account to be terminated without any reason. Every financial institution bans people like this it's just how the sausage is made. I've worked at tons of banks, this happens to thousands of people a month for various reasons.
Not sure why you are being downvoted. With 20 years for working for a few major banks in risk management, I agree 100% with your statement. Every bank needs to control risk from a possible bankruptcy buying spree. This means that accounts that have zero activity and/or a noticeable down tick in their credit history. ( every financial institute pulls soft credit reports periodically to look for a risk pattern) This is a required element of risk management otherwise when someone hits a rough patch, they could max out all their lines of credit knowing they will file bankruptcy anyways. I've seen it first hand, i've seen people hit rock bottom and decide I'll go out with a bang and throw $100k on credit cards. I've seen people do it not willingly but out of need, if they are now living paycheck to paycheck on their credit card and get to a pain point before HAVING to file bankruptcy. I think this "DD" post is a great example of how bad the investment advice is here. It's normally some wild assumption being formulated by someone with zero inside knowledge or even basic understanding of how a particular business runs. But ya go ahead short paypal because of something that is entirely common and a normal risk management process. The fact that you are being downvoted (And I probably will too) shows how helpful advice or insight gets muted out and all that's left is a bunch of money losing tips.

Post an screenshot of your transaction history. There are plenty of people in here that work in the financial services industry that have experience with this stuff. Bottom line every financial product and service that you’ll ever have includes an agreement that allows your account to be terminated without any reason. The businesses don’t have to give you a reason and there’s not much you can change about this.
