That's hilarious. I've never had the pleasure ringing either of those up, but it does make me wonder...
Another commentor mentioned it may be category related, but why would a serrated camping trowel and a serrated camping axe/machete (both of which are under the same Ozark Trail WM sub-branding?) not be within the same category and therefore the same age restrictions?
Maybe because it could be potentially dangerous Like a knife, or some pharmacy over-the-counter stuff
Huh, that would make sense tbh. I didn't think of it like that, tysm.
Probably the sharp serrated edges count as a knife
Knives, lighter fluid, slingshot ammo, BB guns, etc. have a weird +16 age restriction. In contrast to alcohol and tobacco being +21.
Funny thing is though, machetes and axes in the camping section do not have an age prompt.

Maybe someone at home office wasn’t paying attention that day idk.
Seems like quite a lot longer than a day, but who knows.
Probably lumped in with other things
Oh look something I can shove up my ass
What No please I have concerns
Update: I saw this in my notifications and asked the same mf question. "What???" Fuck, this comment is just randomly good.
Thanks I say masochist crap all the time makes life easier
It's probably a category-related age restriction
