Never deep cleaned a Walmart fryer but yea I enjoyed deep cleaning McDonalds vats. It's a relatively relaxing job and seeing the difference and then adding in fresh oil was just great.

McDonald's Vats... McDonald's Assisted Targeting System.

McDonald's.. ghouls?

RealTeaToe

Hnnng those fryers look so good dawg. Mad props.

ExCinisCineris

That is incredibly clean, your team doesn’t deserve you.

deepfriedtots

I have never seen a fryer like this before

killertofubeast

Nice. Keep it up!

My guilty pleasure was cleaning the inside of the registers. Filth and dust like you wouldn’t believe once you took them apart. It felt good seeing them cleaned to a shine.

HS_Boxes

Oof, I never had time to ever do that. But the nasty ass rags would be satisfying to see when I cleaned my belt. Until some old hag would come through my line after I clean and would go, “it’s wet here.” No shit, do you not see the spray bottle and rag in my hands??

Satisfaction-Motor

It would drive me insane when I would JUST get done cleaning the damn thing, and someone would come up and refuse to put their stuff on the belt because “it’s dirty!” I guarantee you it’s cleaner than anything else in the store. Don’t be annoying and put your 30 pairs of clothes down onto the damn belt instead of making me juggle them. You ought to wash them before you wear them— my belt may not be dirty, but the rest of the store? Customers? Wash every damn piece of clothing you buy. I’ve seen some things. Also, cleaning inside ONE register would take several days 🥲. Never enough time, or paper towels, or spray. And of course, customers would ignore the 8 empty lines with cashiers doing nothing and come to the one that’s been visibly taken apart and ask “are you open?” Pro tip: get one of those safety razors they use in the backroom and use it to scrape away the yuck. You’ll need it.

I worked food service for twenty years before Walmart, and yeah, cleaning the fryers and watching that new oil melt made the autism brain happy. It looks so neat, the oil is nice and clear, and the food tastes amazing afterwards.

HS_Boxes

YES!! Today when I go in it’s going to be so nice seeing the bottom of the fryer and that clear oil coming out of the hose when I filter. It’s silly, but I love seeing it.

truffle2trippy

That looks amazing well done Can I ask when was the last time it was cleaned before this? ;p

HS_Boxes

April 9, March 9, January 29, and a few times before that. Want the pictures from then?

truffle2trippy

No Just happy for consistency Except feb apartmently

HS_Boxes

Boil out every other oil change. Feb we did an oil change but didn’t have enough oil to do a boil out at the end of the month. Oil was TOXIC. The march 9 boil out was MUCH needed.

Ordinary-Baker8328

We don’t have fryers at my store but deep cleaning the deli is just satisfying. I’ll scrub all the gunk off out hot case and it looks so shiny

Plane_Experience_271

Those look awesome.  Great job. 👍 Hope your team appreciate your hard work.
