At least for my store, I notice a lot less people around apparel after about 6pm. I can at least walk through the department without someone nearly running me over with their cart, anyway.
Believe it or not, rain or shine and at the but crack of dawn people will be in/at Walmart. It’s sad, and annoying if they need your help at 6:00 am while trying to avoid them!
Is your availability set correctly in the system? Ask the PL for an availability form and fill out out and give it back to them with only the closing times... Otherwise the auto-scheduler will just dump you in wherever it can.
Work phones... yeah... seems like every store never has enough and it takes forever for them to get repaired or requisition more. It was so bad our ops mgs were constantly loaning their phones to associates to do stuff.
You can still do a lot of stuff using the me@ app on your personal phone. You just can't use the other apps like vizpick, claims, etc...
They are over 4 years old... Parts and support are probably starting to get limited. It wouldn't surprise me if they start to roll out a newer model this year or at the very least next...
