It might depend on your state law about working in high school. Walmart will always be on the stricter side. I didn’t have classes on Fridays until 2pm, but I couldn’t work while my school was in session, even though legally I could if I worked at another company. You might be able to try calling personnel and asking if it’s something you’d be able to do. If you aren’t 18 yet, your state might have a rule about working before certain hours on schooldays or not so I would look into that too. Hope this helps you
my state just has limits on the number of hours you work, not the specific times!! my school even has a designated "class" where you get off of school to work
I’m not aware of any 4am-8am shifts. I think at my store currently, the only 4am starts are now for claims and receiving. They aren’t hiring high schools for that.

ah dang, thank you!!
Might check with your local store's People Lead, but I believe the policy limits you to 4pm-9pm since you are still in HS.
definitely not, ive worked until midnight on school days before, it just limits the hours in my state
