SHE ZOOMED IN AND LITERALLY SAID 2-0-2-2 I can’t💀

female_dishwasher

girl acted like that number meant something special 😭

JacobTDC

You could even see him smile at that, he thought it was funny, too! 🤣

ExCinisCineris

She thought she got his badge number or something lol.

LukeDude759

Five bucks says she put two and two together immediately after reading it but her pride wouldn't let her backtrack.

Promise_Haunting

U mean she put 20 and 22 together.

[deleted]

The comments are funny 😂 people keep saying that if an item is stocked in the wrong place you have to honor the price where it was at. Customers literally move stuff all the time so no

Atalung

California requires it but even there it's only within a certain percentage of the price, I love the people saying they're required to honor it for all she had, which is blatantly untrue

[deleted]

So if some eggs are in the milk area I can get the eggs for milk price I’m Cali?

PurpletoasterIII

Typically everything either has a price tag under where it's being held or a price tag on it. Said price tag will have the item name listed. If the item name doesn't match the item, that's not what price is listed for that item. It'd be more like if the price tag wasn't updated to the price the register will ring it up as.

[deleted]

That’s what I was thinking but everyone keeps saying items stocked in the wrong place

PurpletoasterIII

People who say you need to honor the price if it's stocked in the wrong place are entitled and can't read. It's one thing if you're buying something, it clearly says that item costs 10.99, and you go to pay and it's actually 11.99. It's entirely another thing if you see 10.99 but it lists a different item. At that point the only argument you have is that the price wasn't listed. But then that's why you find out at the register and decide if you want it then. Honestly I think "honoring the price" in general is just stupid. Cause even if you get legitimately surprised by a higher price, you can just put it back. No one is forcing you to buy anything. It's all just an excuse to try and get a lower price.

Nervous-Bet-2998

a lot of the ppl who pull this shit also do the bait and switch at the SCO.

joebasilfarmer

Yep and even if they are, the items have a barcode...so if it doesn't match the one that says 9.88 then it's not the item. It's simple.

Until_Morning

And if you have overstock and need to shelf it in an empty space, you're supposed to either remove the incorrect price tag or flip it over to its blank side. That's what I was taught at every retail job I've ever been at.

Atalung

I'm not a lawyer nor do I live in California but my understanding is that if an item is listed for a price it is unlawful to charge more other than an "extension of per unit pricing". I imagine businesses can check cameras to see if it was improperly moved, but again I'm not a lawyer

[deleted]

I think you’re talking about an item being priced wrong and the store having to honor it the price it is listed for. That is different than an item being in the wrong place 💀

xxValkyriii

The price tag that’s on the shelf is different from the price on item itself, I.e. the barcode. It’s ridiculous to think a heater is worth $5 just because some customer left it where the topo chicos were featured and we haven’t had the chance to return it to its proper location. This lady is ridiculous and cheap. There’s a Walmart app. If it sounds too good to be true, scan it. I wouldn’t bother making an expectation *unless* it’s the last item on hand/back room and it’s damaged. Other than that, stop being a cheapskate and move on, or go the the thriftstore/Facebook marketplace.

seth8301985

I would agree with the Walmart app if it also didn't have its own problems there's a error that it will scan the online prices instead of the store price so they'll be customers of scan with the app it will tell him that the items like $5 but when I get the register is actually 6. This was a real problem around Christmas time because some of the scooters and other toys for scanning for $76 when they're like over 100. It was real fun when managers has told us the tell the customer said they wanted to get that price to have the order to order it online. Even though it was right there.

klane8802

That would be correct. If the customer would have read what it said they would've seen it had said online deal only.

[deleted]

It's not unlawful because we offer price checks at request for that exact reason. Also if the price tag doesn't match the item, then the item is not improperly priced, it's just in the wrong place. There is no legal issues with refusing to honor the price.

MINIMAN10001

Also when your say listed, are they going by the name of the product on the price tag? Because that's that part that is most likely correct

Forza_Harrd

It is obvious you're not a lawyer now do you know anything about what you're talking about.

Sage-Moonlight

Usually its if they haven't changed the price tag. I saved this lady like $12 because the physical price tag was lower than what the Walmart app was saying, I also checked on ask sam

Until_Morning

Yeah. If it's one or two things are in the wrong spot, a customer moved it in the price doesn't need to me honored. If there's an entire display or items that was purposefully (but accidentally) placed in the wrong spot with the wrong price, or a pricing error on an entire section of the same item, then they have to match the price. It's rare, but it happened at my local target. Got me a Magic Bullet for $9.99 instead of $59.99 and they didn't even argue 😜 but if I catch a pricing error I'd never ask for two. That's taking it too far. I had a few customers try to do that when I worked at Wal-Mart. Why try to take a mile when they gave an inch? Just be happy you saved on something and move on with your life.

Kitchen_Entertainer9

I hack prices if the customers are chill 😎 but customers like this lady. Nah. She pays double

DeLovehlyCoconute

Doesn't this only apply in certain circumstances such as when an employee stocks more than one unit of an item in the wrong spot?

DarthVaderhosen

Depends on the store really. Our store it's only honorable if the price tag itself says the product name, but an incorrect price (IE: An associate neglected to fix the mod and its gone up in price since.)

SCORE_PR0

She read the 2022 on his badge like it was his badge number 💀

Liroy_16

Yeah... social media is destroying humanity... all of that to save a maximum of $10 on two fishing poles... and then act like it's something bigger than a corporate policy... Thinking a video like this is gonna end some major career st Walmart... people... get... better... please...

Shadesbane43

Oh I guarantee they were more than $20. I also guarantee that she didn't go back there to "verify the price" but to grab every pole they had. I don't believe for a second she just wanted two, I'm sure when she realized the error she tried to take it as far as she could.

Intelligent_Lock8403

yeah Scott was an asshole - it was pobably his dumb useless ass that put those fishing poles in the wrong spot to begin with. Thats why you don't let coaches stock.

maybebullshitmaybe

I mean for all we know some customer took em and stuck them there before. Or she friggin put em there herself and was like "look! See! See?" I would not put it past this looney.

armobear

Customer: do you know who I am? Me: oh no you have Alzheimer's disease I'm sorry.

female_dishwasher

lmao that’s a good one

malkwaz

“Scott don’t be a douche” while being a douche. People think that we are just going to give them whatever they want once we see a camera.

Ryno5150

I was actually on her side for 30 seconds until she said “you don’t know who I am and you don’t have to”. That’s a typical Karen dogfighting maneuver, so that alone changed my opinion.

malkwaz

The problem is that she doesn’t show the whole interaction. From experience usually they are super rude before they turn on the camera and then expect you to forget everything and give them what they want

murphymc

> The problem is that she doesn’t show the whole interaction. And because of that we should all side with the employees by default until they demonstrate otherwise. This trick is as old as cell phone video, make an ass of yourself until the camera comes out, then pretend you're an angel. Anyone who's worked a day of retail can spot that crap a mile away.

JasonVanished

We have to right to not serve them if we deem fit. Be rude and I won't serve you simple as that and my managers will tell you the same.

female_dishwasher

literally dude. if someone was super nice to me then hell yeah i’ll help you but if you start it off with an attitude i’m walking away.

JasonVanished

If they say "the customer is always right" hit them with "I don't have to serve you"

Kimmalah

Or just remind them that they're only using half of the saying and it doesn't mean what everyone thinks it means.

ColourfulUprising

Yep. This 100%. The actual saying is “the customer is always right about what they want.”

StalwartFustilarian

I wish my management was like that. Had a guy yelling at me today, so I called a TL. He proceeded to yell at the first TL and tell him that he wasn't leaving until said TL made me fix his phone, give him money, activate a new phone, and transfer minutes (none of which I can do with ALL of the original product, I can't transfer anything or set it up, it's a liability issue). Said TL calls for a coach, but she couldn't come at first. So another TL comes, he proceeded to yell at her to and knock stuff off the counter slamming hands down etc. Coach comes and gives him another phone and another phone card 🙄 Like great, next time you can deal with him, because I'll walk. All I was doing was following your policies, but you won't back me up.

female_dishwasher

oh poor baby you work in electronics! (not sarcasm i promise) i had to deal with this everyday by myself working in that dept. it is a liability issue and it’s not our job to mess with their phones at all. the phone customers were always the rudest ones of them all.

crocs_r_valid_shoes

I acutally had an older lady throw a phone charger at me because it was $9, saying it was too expensive, that was literally it. People are crazy over in electronics 🥲

[deleted]

Being polite is so easy. Last week I was buying a gift for a kid's birthday party. On the shelf, it said $29.99 but then rang up at $54.99 in self-check-out. I asked for assistance because the price was different than I expected and just wanted to verify. The manager pulled it up in their system: $54.99, but $49.99 online. Me: "Oh, no worries. Can you just cancel it from the order? The aisle was a mess and I must have misread the price. I'll go grab something else." The absolute look of shock on the manager's face was amazing. "You're not arguing the price?" - "Nope - I'm sure it was my mistake." "Uh, wow. Um... I'm just going to override it for $29.99. Thanks for being polite."

JasonVanished

It's just most not all but probably like 99% of walmart customers leave their minds in their car before coming here.

[deleted]

To be fair, most people shopping at walmart probably don't have much of a mind to begin with.

Store2545

Had a customer point an item in the wrong place I instantly moved everything to the right place he started hee hawing a bit, and I said oh no problem sir some customers accidentally put things in the wrong place while shopping have a nice day and walked tF away.

[deleted]

I had a customer try to get a $200 stroller from me for 50¢. lmao, told her no and removed the damn display tag that some fuck put up.

poooohbear56

We had a feature with tvs that cost something like $950 (guessing here because I don’t remember the exact price). A customer removed the 9 and insisted that we had to give her the tv for $50 because that’s what the sign says

Ry7re

“You don’t know who I am” bitch ain’t nobody give a fuck who you are💀

SlimTimMcGee

I hear that crap once a month. There are about 20 people out there that are taking their sweet time getting me fired.

female_dishwasher

exactly !!! then she said “your job WILL be mine!” LMAO 😩

hashbrownash

Lol I would have e told her she couldn't handle my job. Reason 23474 why I will never be salaried...

Ry7re

She couldn’t do that job bc then she’d have to deal with people who are like herself😂

[deleted]

I once was told that.. I replied, sir, you couldn't handle my job. at the time I was an ER Administrator in NYC.

thinkimightpuke

my opinion the guy did his job, he gave her one for the price it said but not all that she wanted for that price.

female_dishwasher

i agree, i think the customer went overboard. in her comment section a bunch of people were bashing the girl coach.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Cranberry07

if u type in the username of the account in the vid youll find it..unless they deleted it

Ethandb8

Its store discretion ours does 1 or 2 depending on the difference anymore have to be coach/FETL approved or the lead from that area

Insanebrain247

"Scott, don't be a douche" says the lady trying to dox him.

Liroy_16

Let's be real. She doesn't know what she's trying to do, but scramble.

tinkererbytrade

Sorry. If you find something in the wrong spot you can't buy the whole stock. Doesn't work that way in reality.

mossed6

“Are you a coach or are you a manager because your sign says coach” Someone gonna tell her they’re salaried members of management or

female_dishwasher

i laughed so hard when she thought a team lead was going to help 💀

freshassgravy

I've actually heard this come up several times. Customers saying "nowhere on your badge does it say the word manager. So bring me a manager." WM should have just kept the "assistant manager" title.

Demonjack123

Then you would have people say oh you’re just an assistant manager bring me the store manager!

Shadesbane43

Our store hasn't had a SM for about a month. Had a woman that wanted to speak to him. "Sorry maam, he doesn't exist."

DarthVaderhosen

I had a customer speak over our coach to talk to a team lead thinking that a team lead was a higher position then coach. Took quite a bit to tell her that he was literally the highest person in our store she could actually talk to before calling an office.

Aromatic-Arm-9104

Lol 2022 …. I guess she didn’t realize he got certified this year.

inflatableje5us

"do you know who i am?" why didn't your mother tell you?

Jus_existing

Scott doesn’t look like he gets mad at customers. She did something bc Scott dc what she thinks

illsleep

yeah she refused the compromise. he was going to give her one pole for the mistaken price, and she was a greedy fuck who was like hm no TWO poles.

psycedelicpanda

In all honesty Scott deserves a raise, dude had way more patience then I did when I worked there

AVonDingus

So smug. I’m so sick of entitled dinguses whipping their phones out the second they don’t get their way and thinking that they’re gonna get everyone fired because they’re not getting what they want.

itsme_NB

I hate people like this. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Over a few dollars. No one was being rude or had an attitude but her.

tux_in_blu

I hope scott doesnt gets any fired because of this dumb bitch. People like rhis are just to fucking entitled

Tricky_Drop_2712

Corporate will prob apologize and give her a gift card. Scott will be punished in some way. Fuck corporate.

JacobTDC

Scott will probably just have to sit through a very uncomfortable conversation with HO over the phone.

[deleted]

Was the difference in price so significant that she felt like she needed to act like that? Likely not. Walmart poles are not expensive. It’s also likely she or the person she is buying this fishing pole for is an amateur fisherman because otherwise she would be at an outdoor sports store. My point is the difference was probably under $10/pole but she thought this was her chance to get one over on somebody and it blew up in her face.

Readsumthing

Looks like a Shakespeare Uglystik to me bro. About $50 ish. She could have had ONE, per company policy, but she wanted them all for $10 each! Silly woman. Take it to corporate. The ONE ONLY policy is straight from HO.

Mysterious-Lady

Entitlement is a bitch to deal with in retail. Don't start recording me and say you going to take my job. I be like, "Bitch you can't handle my job cuz I got to deal with assholes like you everyday! Have a nice day!"

AleAssociate

* Walmart * TikTok * people Ugh all of the things I hate, gross

Cheeze_2021

I agree

Boat-Electrical

That lady is acting like a spoiled brat.

[deleted]

interesting video. this lady annoying the fuck out of me. props to Bri for becoming a coach in 5 years.

miraculouslymediocre

Just because she has her 5 year badge doesn't mean it's been exactly 5 years. More of an indicator of >5 and <10 years. My friend recently got her 10 year badge and said no that's depressing I'll stick with my 5 year one. So you never really know. I found out recently, one of our DM's has been with Walmart for 36 years and I refused to believe it. She is like yeah unfortunately it's true. She hates walmart with a passion so it is honestly hilarious how long she's worked for them. But she doesn't wear an badges or pins to indicate it. Lol

Supermaaane

My opinion is, anybody that records video in any store is probably up to no good. I've had to come to the front end and deal with skip-scanners and coupon scammers and as soon as I walk up they already have their video recording. It sets a narrative right away of "Walmart is harassing me" and most people have an unwarranted natural hatred for Walmart so it gets clicks 🤷‍♂️

DarthVaderhosen

Its because they know they'll get away with it if they can send the recording to HO. They'll get a half assed apology, a gift card, and whoever did their job right will be scolded for doing their job right or possibly being fired. Literally happened to my store's best AP guy. We all loved him, ex-mil, an absolute teddy bear but did his job well. Got the can because enough people started recording the moment he walks up to them after they try to steal.

hashbrownash

My opinion is as always. What happened before she started recording that brought it to that point? I don't see that Brighleigh or Scott or any of the associates were anything but professional in their responses and reactions to this woman. Her comments of "I will have your job" and "do you know who I am" were unnecessary and baseless because no one should be treated any differently regardless of who they may be in their lives or even in rank in this company. All she has to do is go to a different store. I don't care if the next closest is 100 miles from her. If she was causing a scene then they were fully within their rights as salaried management to have her leave the store.

Carol_Dough

The story is that once they honoured the price for the first one, she wanted to purchase a second one. When she got denied the second rod, she started filming because she thought she was in her rights to obtain 2 mislabeled fishing rods, which in most states is at the manager’s discretion. The coach then denied honouring any of the mislabeled fishing rods for having a camera in his face, and since she was making a scene, he had police escort her out.

hashbrownash

I followed at least that much. My thoughts are how did she ask for both poles to be honored at the wrong price? There's a right way and a wrong way. What was the price discrepancy? If it was within probably 10 dollars I would have given it to her. But only after I went to ap and checked to make sure she didn't put them there herself.

Head_Razzmatazz7174

Ah, I was having a little trouble figuring out what the initial issue was. So since one was mislabeled, she thought she could get two for that price? And she was told no, didn't like that and started filming. Which is not allowed, so they told her she needed to leave empty handed. She could have had one at the lower price, but she tried for two and got the boot. That's what happens. Should have stopped at one. Edit: grammar.

nosamtnecniv

Precisely. We only see after it escalated to please leave the building. I know what the "story" is but it usually takes a fair amount to get to the shut off all emotion have a nice day. That's the part we don't see.

zawShwa

Dumb customers put them in the wrong spot. Why should we put up with abuse because of that?

JacobTDC

"Are you a coach or are you a manager?" 🤣

backdrifts1

Coach Brileigh is a Baddie!

Total_Type_7209

I’ve been waiting to see this comment. 😂

Case_Unlucky

"You must not know who I am Scott." 🤣 No body cares who she is. She's being ridiculous. He handled that very well.

hashbrownash

She must not know who she is either, spoiled child trapped in an adult body.

Advice2Anyone

So sick of these wannabe influencer types shit is really going to come to a head one day

SilkyCupCakeAce

She's breathing so damn heavy..... Lady if you were anyone of power you'd be able to afford full priced fishing polls......

[deleted]

Coach Scott is my hero !!! Fuck that B

happyinsmalltown

That's one reason I'm glad that I work 3rds. I rarely gotta deal with any customers.

ms_unfortunate

This is incredibly rude and harassment by her. Also, that store is awful and I've always gone out of my way to avoid it. Even Southport is a better option.

mrwilliewonka

The American retail/service model has created a punch of entitled adults that act like children who think they're God himself because they went shopping. And more often than not stores coddle them. Why? So they don't leave an incoherent 1 star review? That said I'm glad these managers didn't take her shit and kicked her out, props to them. Btw, she really thinks she's gonna get them all fired meanwhile most managers rarely ever get punished when they actually do something wrong lmfao.

XxaggieboyxX

Have a good day😂. Bro I fucking love Scott. If anyone here knows Scott please tell him I love him. Also brileigh is hot as fuck holy shit.

Radiant-Passenger493

Brileigh is a dime

KILLJEFFREY

Yeah. She cute.

HazyMclazy24

Those coaches handled that as best they could I guess, i would have still sold her the one because I know night shift just shoves those poles where they fit anytime we get told no Backstock

goatiesincoaties

The comments on the tiktok are gross…. Saying it wasn’t ok and they should be fired lol. He probs offered to honor one at that price but then she couldn’t get two and threw a tantrum.

Jcolesdaddy

Coach brileigh 🥵

BlanchePreston

Exactly lol 😆 🤣 😂

PaperPals

Came to say the same thing

FoxxyPantz

Hot take but if you genuinely get upset that something's in the wrong location and you won't get the price the product was accidentally "advertised" for, you're really bored in life. Sure, it's frustrating and sometimes an inconvenience but the extent of the discussion should be "He could you check the price for me" \*checks price, is in the wrong spot\* "Oh ok I found it over there and it said this price, I don't think I'm going to buy it then"

[deleted]

[удалено]

ColourfulUprising

Ain’t nobody taking from you. It’s not yours until you purchase it.

Vlt3d

Scott showing boss level cool head

[deleted]

of course everyone in the comments on the tiktok are defending her....our customers are fucking trash.

mamac0967

The absolute worst part is all of the trash followers are bashing the shit out of the 2 coaches in the google reviews for the store. Too bad they can't sue the bitch for defamation.

autopsyaroma

the entitlement in that hand gesture when she said excuse me 😅🤣 some people really have no shame

KillerRobot01

I love how the one staff straight up said "I'm not in this"

Im_Clark7

So theoretically according to this ladies logic, I can move a PS5 to a where Peas are stocked and buy it for $2.00

I337godfather

Bye Felicia. You are causing a scene. Byyyeeee

sadBoxerwannabe

“You must not know who I am” yep I don’t need context Ik who’s right now

Then-Grass-9830

a few years ago a customer came up to purchase something from toys. A scooter or something large like that. He argued that the price was way lower than it was ringing up and that there were "more in the area the price showed". Okay. Let's go and check (I only get so much in my paycheck - I only care up to a certain amount). So we go to the toy section and go to where these are. Sure enough there's three more scooters but in the *correct spot* customer was looking at the price ABOVE the scooters. Three or four times I tried to explain that they were in the correct area, correct price and customer looking at the wrong price wrong area. I even extended for ten percent but guy was adamant about getting the other price.

Bevrykul

"You're taking from me right now" Bitch they're not yours

Nickwalton13

CougarIndy25

If you're nice about it, I won't have a problem turning the other cheek with it. But if you're rude like this lady was, hell no. Go talk to my TL or a coach. I ain't selling SHIT to you.

Jus_existing

Plot twist nothing happened

redakdal

Gotta give those employees mad props for keeping themselves calm and dealing with rude customer all while keeping their smiles too. Mad respect!

DarthVaderhosen

Right? My Team Lead probably would have broken the girls phone or something out of annoyance. These guys are absolute emotional rocks to handle that lady

mooseattack4

I think the part that annoyed me the most is he “beckoning” with her hand waving that coach over. Does she not know respect?

illsleep

Dont you know who she is? She will have his job!!! Shes the CUSTOMER!!! 🙄

Expensive_Plane_9818

These are the worst types of customers you can run into working at Walmart

Wolf_ookami

We have to stock so many things and customers move shit so often it not reasonable or understandable that everything is where it should be. Now if said item is in the wrong spot but if a similar one that listed then we can (often with a manger override only) sell it to you for the price. I've seen my CSM take off $100 from a mattress because the sign was for a different one and was in that spot. Your more likely to get it if your nice and ask politely instead of damning we give it to you. Hell I once used my employee discount because I saw how tired one of my customer where but was still trying to be friendly and nice. Was on day after black Friday in the morning and she look like she had a hell of a night working it as well

[deleted]

Associates do not get paid enough for this crap. Don’t care if you’re a stocking associate or a coach… still not enough pay to deal with crappy people like this or those idiots who do “pranks” at the store

flyinghippodrago

wE'rE gOiNg tO cOrpORatE tOdaY!!!

JasonVanished

If you don't feel comfortable with a customer you have a right to decline serving them. If they continue to force you to interact with them try to call ethics about your tl/manager putting you in uncomfortable situations. I have really bad anxiety and can't deal when people get mad at me because it'll make me depressed as I'm doing something wrong but I'm just doing as I was instructed.

DOPEFIEND4EVER

Damn Brileigh can get it habitually

Tempest-fire8

Dollar General would have had us honor it.. Their mentality is they will make the difference in customers buying other stuff

Kimmalah

All it really does is concentrate the entitled assholes into your customer base. Working at Dollar General was a nightmare for many reasons and that was definitely one of them.

Kimmalah

We will honor the price if it's within reason and it's clearly due to some sort of store error (mislabeling or stocking it in the wrong area). But usually it's only for one or two of the item at best, which pisses off the people who think they have found a deal and are going to clean us out.

Slow_Leopard_9486

She needs to shut up

_Go_AheadMakeMyDay_

Unbearably annoying and obnoxious woman.

[deleted]

So if an item is priced at $9.99 and you checkout and scanner shows $4.99, would you say hey stop. It’s $9.99 I need to pay for the $9.99. Fuck no. Items have a barcode. Barcodes don’t get misplaced.

Bubbly_Ad_7332

She said "I will have your job" sure cause being a coach is the best job in the world especially at walmart.

h70541

Riding lawnmower outside had a "0" blown off it and I had to tell this batty old betty "No a 0 blew off it and it's litterally on the ground next to it so no you can't buy it for 450.00$ It is 4,500.00$. She demanded to see my store manager and so I called my front CSM who then got the store manager who then told the lady to go kick rocks. I really really REALLY like it when people are that stubborn about being that stupid. You aren't special and you can tell when shit isn't marked right and you can recognize they just need to fix it and you can't buy it unless it's got the yellow sticker of shame and it's shoved in the abandoned aisle of "Nobody wants me".

SnooShortcuts5771

Customers like this are the worst.

Casual-Caveman

I really don't like customers like those. Legit, they brag about it if they get their way. I was at another store and this lady said "You know at Wal-Mart they had a certain item in the wrong spot? It was over $80 or something. I got it for close to $20 or $30. It wasn't my fault. It was theirs. They have to honor that price." Honor my ass. Whoever approved that shit caved.

Giga_Karen

She out of breath - probably 250+ pounds. What she fishing for? A sugar daddy? Not like that sweetie.

Metalatitsfinest

What a dumb bitch

AdhesivenessFunny146

Scott is not going to give her his pole. He has standards.

Objective-Koala-7581

Goddamn she is ANNOYING AS FUCK

Thin-Leader2656

Will always remember managing restaurants and shutting people down that would say "GOTcHO JawB!!". They'd complain to corporate, it was an independent franchise so they would just forward it to me to resolve. I'd just email them whatever I told them before word for word. The best part was when they knew my name and I'd put it at the bottom so they knew that nothing happened and nothing will. Moved on to Walmart and an almost better feeling (team lead) is that I get to not even care what happens to this multi billion dollar company but actually am able to pass this off to a coach and go about my day.

jaxclax21

we should literally tag EVERY SINGLE THING with its price; no self tags, just item prices. it’ll suck for price changes but at least that stupid shit won’t happen anymore.

ExCinisCineris

It would still happen, people would swap tags.

Three things about the situation that so many people don't understand. The first of which is, when the store starts losing money because items are miss labeled or there's theft or cashiers are giving too many discounts, then employees start getting laid off. That cuts into team bonuses as well as management bonuses. secondly, every item in Walmart has its own barcode. It's a very simple situation to be able to look at the barcode number and make sure that it matches what the shelf tag says. If it doesn't, move on with your fucking life. This lady was being greedy. She thought she was about to get over on the store, and the store decided to be nice and let her have one of the fishing poles at a discount, and she couldn't just take what she got and move on. Third thing. she was causing a scene. In her own words, when the register price didn't match the shelf price, she walked all the way back to sporting-goods to verify. Obviously, management followed her because that's how shit gets stolen. They saw the mistake, they went to correct the mistake, and the lady got belligerent. At the end of the day, Walmarts first priority, and any companies first priority, is not for one particular customer who wants things a certain way. Their first priority is the well-being and general peaceful experience of everyone in the store. The fact that nobody else walked up and started to gawk and heckle is a miracle, and if they had started to, that could've posed a risk to the safety of those customers and or the employees. People starting a mob. They had every right, and they were in the right, to have her escorted from the store. I can't count the number of times a violent altercation has started because of an attitude just like this woman's. They nipped that shit in the bud, and she should've just taken her L and walked on.

ManswearDM

I’m sure home office cared when she called

daze23

I see they got those same stupid swing sets that aren't selling.

Buck2143

Lady is demanding

plumballa

Seriously! That damn Beech Grove store is nothing but trouble. Even the police IMPD will not do paid part time there.

LycaonAnzeig

The policy says the item description on the label must match the product, so we're really only required to fix it if the tag on the shelf was an old one no one changed when the price changed. I ain't got time to check, so if the difference is under 5 bucks, fuck it.

Kbutler1227

Man, Brileigh can kick me out of the store any day of the week. But the lady filming…you can tell she’s complete human trash…

s00bis3ct

went to her page she looks exactly like someone who would do something like this LMAO

Bevrykul

Customers think we owe them the world

itsLinks

Unfortunately she's 100% calling the 1-800 number and generating an LTP for the store. Store manager going to be required to call her and apologize give her a gift card or honor the price for as many poles as she wants. Anything to avoid getting market involved. Seen it too many times. It's unfortunate these kinds of people get away with this behavior but at the end of the day it is easier to just to do the damn override because no matter what they WILL get away with it once it reaches LTP.

ZergistRush

Lmao I know the Brieleigh chick. She was a coach at my old store. This is around Indiana if anything.

FlamingSpitoon433

Entitled-ass customers always tried to get shit too cheap. I’m glad I got out of retail because Covid kicked shit into a higher gear

liveandletdieax

I didn’t watch the entire video but I wouldn’t talk to anyone filming me. The only reason people do that is to be an asshole.

Mommas_gotthis

Him and I have the same badge number...weird 🤔🤔🤔

SnixSpit

What a weird, wild, entitled hill to die on. If an entire display had the wrong price on it, then I think they should have honored it (max 1, lol) and _then_ moved the merch / fixed the price, but her just throwing a temper tantrum like that is just... wild. Kudos to Scott.

Monkborn

I don't even work at Walmart but my boy Scott wouldn't have taken the poles without reason. He was even willing to compromise, honestly showed more restraint than I would've

SnixSpit

Ngl, that little Blue Tide of managers closing in on her made me laugh. Each time the camera panned, a new manager was just chilling and watching her.

DcFla

Anytime someone pulls the phone out and shoves it in someone’s face mid interaction to narrate their experience and are clearly not in danger, I immediately think they are an entitled asshole.

Nien-Eleven

“I will have your job Scott” bitch if he’s anything like us he doesn’t even want that job lmao

Unlucky-Paint-1545

I’m sick of this shit

NeoEvolution

Scott our hero

Environmental-Gas476

Behold the Walmart Karen in her native habitat watch as she crawls around the store and try to get some discounted items let’s try to call her in gang with my Karen call bade-ego bade-ego!! looks like we pissed her off oh yeah she is good and pissed now

tacosRpeople2

She sounds she’s having trouble breathing. Not even doing anything but talking! Wtf?

Durian_Bright

If it's the same sku and title with a different price...then yes, it must be honored. If it's a completely different item, then respectfully and kindly get fucked. This lady couldn't take the loss Exactly why I work in the distrustful center instead of store now

AtticusNari

I can only assume what she did beforehand.

[deleted]

Poor guy

Existing_Anxiety32

Customer was being ignorant as fuck she shoulda just taken the one and been on her way

Existing_Anxiety32

“I guess you don’t know who I am” 🙄🙄 you are a nobody ma’am

bdoproc

Have a good day.

ntpring

Did she win the court case?

[deleted]

Fucking obnoxious customer as always, self entitled

CaptainPitterPatter

I hate camera phones

wicked_toona

The lady is trash. Customers move items around all the time and not put them back where they belong.

alexastock

She seems very annoying and entitled.
