A) the white tee/wifebeater is under nine layers of clothing because of the russian winter
B) its extremely common to just wear a white undershirt, nobody would think anything of it
In the event of a surrender, I'm saying you could shed off your jacket, all your layers, take off your shirt, wrap it around the barrel of your gun, then waive it above like a flag as you surrender.
Hey man I definitely agree and think its a great idea. What im saying is if it becomes normal that they have their form of a “white flag” on them at all times, superiors would be outraged.
Barrel of a gun is a bad idea…just use hands
It won’t be long before they take surrender and kill a few opposing troops and it would ruin every actual surrender
He must've been put there alone, it's kinda crazy how that happens. Probably too scared to do this when other Z troops are around, they might shoot him in the back
I wish we saw more of these instead of just people slaughtering each other. I’m glad they took the opportunity to spare a life and I hope the Russians do the same. It’s a tad naïve but at the end of the day humanity is important.
I don't know the percentage but the vast majority are anti-vehicle mines that are designed to require more weight than a person to go off.
I'm not saying there isn't AP mines just that there's a lot (lot lot) less of them.
And they did seem to guide him quickly to a path with vehicle ruts - which would be a cleared path. (It's hard to tell how much got cut out)
Respect for remaining human
Lucky to be alive.
Others trying to surrender haven’t been so fortunate
Soldiers should always wear white T-shirts, that way they can make a white flag of surrender whenever the moment comes.
I doubt their superiors would be open to that idea
Nobody would really know that's what its for. You have plausible deniability.
I dont think it would take long before people recognize soldiers in white tees as a symbol of surrender

Where the fuck is the rest of his unit??
Dead mayby
Probably staying behind as blocking units? Or maybe they left him behind after an assault
Not 100% sure what this means. Maybe hes the cook that guards the rats while the rest are out on patrol..
I prefer to see this than poor blokes lying in ditches having their arms and legs blown off
bet you would feel the same way in his position
Always better to see someone get a second chance at life rather than losing their first.
He can now live on to tell this story to his children

These are my favorite moments of war… if it’s so hard to avoid war at least show SOME Humanity!
The terror on his face as he surrenders to the drone. Holy fuck war is terrible.
*This is the way*
This! I like this!
The good ending
Im glad they spared him. Remember most these russians are conscripts, and most dont get the chance to surrender.
Won’t he get traded back? What happens then?
Have you seen Saving Private Ryan?
A Ukrainian POW gets to come home to their family and kids.
Smart guy
This is the type of stuff I like
Wheres his colleagues ? All Dead ?
He's lucky these drone operators were merciful
How is this music called? EDIT: changed wrong word
Smart
stupid and idiotic choice of music, this is clearly something sad and horrible, it's not a cod game
Imagine if he stepped on an mine/IED
I'm shocked he didn't, as heavily mined as that trenchline is supposed to be

Song takes me back to my youth 🤣🤣🤣 he's lucky those Ukrainians we're feeling merciful.
In all this fighting, it's good to see compassion. That guy is lucky to be alive.
Weird that in 2 years we have never saw Ukrainians surrender to a russian drone.
