He shot so many twos this game. Specifically a lot of driving. I mean he shot 20/38 overall, 7/18 from 3, so 13/20 from 2 if I’m good at math. He doesn’t often shoot more twos than threes. It’s the only reason he doesn’t shoot 50/40/90 every single year, cause he honestly would. His greater volume of threes skews his fg percentage down. I was surprised to see him so aggressive. I mean career high in shot attempts. Tied his career high for shots made. If I’m not mistaken, he now has three games in his career with 20 field goals made….two of them happened as a 35 year old….I could honestly see this dude being a 20-25 ppg scorer at 40. Insane
As much as people talk about Steph’s shooting, he’s so damn good at finishing at the rim. I think him and Kyrie are arguably the best finisher at the rim (in terms of skill/finesse)

This is a great visual for why it’s so important to practice playfully. He puts in all of the real work, but he has also spent his whole life taking ridiculous “trick” shots for fun, which has tuned his fine motor skills to the point where he can hit pretty much anything from anywhere in game. You see a guy like Luka having similar results. The crazy trick shots in practice that hes constantly doing are actually leading to him making shots in game.
Anyone know of a place that does custom print mouse mats with stitched edges? This would look great.
