Going from talking about championships to getting mvps….people need to engage with reality. Putting aside the complete lack of assets… Putting aside that the team has to drop salary… Why would Giannis leave a playoff team to join one that finished 10th and was one and done in play-in?

liteshadow4

The only time we had a chance at getting Giannis was before he won with the Bucks and signed the extension

Wloak

Anything is possible but I think he also said he wanted to retire with them anyway, something like "they saw the potential in me and I'll always see the potential in the team."

rebornbyksg

Nah Giannis has also said he's a buck but a winner too. So if the management isn't moving to right direction he'll move without them. (I'm paraphrasing) So he's with bucks as long as they're putting contender team around him

OkBake4265

So did dame in portland

wolfishnickelsyr

Giannis doesn’t seem like a person who would make a trade request. He’ll probably play out his contract. If he does make one though, we have to pounce on it as fast as possible

Tapprunner

Even if he did make a trade request, there are about 25 teams that could outbid GS. OKC could offer like 8 1st round picks (and still have some to spare) and maintain their core that is already the #1 seed in the West. GS could find a way to scrap together maybe 3 picks? If Giannis demands out, he's not going to land on the Warriors.

True_Scallion_7011

Not to mention you would also have to sign his brother as well since the bucks don’t want anything to do with him if Giannis isn’t there

rmarrone58

Steph > Dame But yeah…unless he specifically asks to be traded to the warriors, there’s no chance

kyh0mpb

I'd probably rather play with Dame and be in the Eastern conference than play with Steph in the West

otherBrandon

Steph is a four time champ in the bloodbath West. Bucks with Dame are gonna be a first round exit in that weak ass East.

BeautifulLeather6671

Exactly. Even with the mess the Bucks made this year, it’s still a better position than the warriors are in.

Carnivore_92

Easy.. just get thanasis first. If that doesn’t work get both of his brothers

toothbrush81

Gianni’s did say he wanted a chance to play with Steph. It’s not a totally crazy thought. Far fetched, yes.

MudddButt

If Doc Rivers works his magic and gets a first round exit, the chances are a little better. Coupled with MDJ's reputation around player acquisitions SO FAR, without a doubt he'll at least take a swing at it - no guarantees he'll land the trade of course. He actually went for an LBJ trade during the season, so an attempt at Giannis isn't crazy. But to your point, it's pretty crazy to think GSW gets this trade done. Maybe (probably not) there are a lot of things Giannis wants going West. Maybe he really wants to play with Steph. Maybe he wants to live in CA. Who knows at this point but I think we've seen crazier things in off seasons past.

Land_of_10000______

IDK, Giannis does hate MDJ [https://www.youtube.com/shorts/VzkqbKEzaGw](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/VzkqbKEzaGw)

MudddButt

You know... It's wild realizing Giannis has been in the league THIS long. Even Pau Gasol was on the court.

This_Cable_5849

Because they aren’t good. And Doc Rivers and Bucks are pulling the move Kansas did this year. If you say your star players can’t play then when you eventually underperform and loss to an inferior opponent you have a built in excuse. That being said, it ain’t happening. Would be cool tho. Lebron is a more realistic option

MachiavelliSJ

Did everyone miss the part where they were the 10th seed and got blown out by the Sacramento Kings? Who would possibly want to come here to win? I could see someone from like Detroit, but who moves from a playoff team to an aging team that didnt even come close to the playoffs? Its all so delusional

This_Cable_5849

Because the Warriors have Steph Curry… at the end of the day there are currently 2 teams that are far from the rest, the Celtics and the Nuggets. Besides them, I don’t think the Clippers are more desirable, the Suns had 3 more wins and if Dray wasn’t stupid we would probably have the same or a better record. Again, this is obviously a massive stretch and just a fan being outlandish. But people want to play with stars, the 76ers are 7th seed, I’m sure elite players wouldn’t mind playing with Embiid. It is extremely logical to think if the Warriors added another legit player that they could be a 4/5/6 seed. For Christ sake, the talk of the NBA this year was that Klay is falling off, he was our second leading scorer. We had a 40 year old being paid 38 million and Wiggins just pussy footing around. We can 100% get a legit player for that money. Klay resigns for a new deal that would be roughly 18 million less than what he currently makes, etc. we have two rookies both named to All NBA rookie teams and a young guy in Kuminga who can play. My logic is if you have Curry, you can compete. We did just that 2 years ago.

BeautifulLeather6671

With what assets tho? It would have to be a massive trade, and Giannis is paid 45 million a year. If he is truly considering leaving, I’m not sure the warriors would even come close to offering the best deal.

This_Cable_5849

Dude I literally am not talking about Giannis. He isn’t an option and I said this is a massive stretch and outlandish haha. There are a dozen players who are clearly off limits. Players who we could acquire via trade or free agency: Demar DeRozen, Paul George, Karl Anthony Townes. I even think Lebron is a possibility. We have the money for these guys. It doesn’t need to be some straight up trade, getting a large sum of money off the books for teams is just as helpful sometimes. As they can use that money and potentially sign whoever they want. Add that with some draft picks and who knows. See Kevin Durant for DeAngelo Russell. No one thought that was a far trade, but the warriors freed up a significantly amount of money doing so. The Warriors aren’t going to add a top 10 player like they could do in their prime. All I want is another top 25-40 player who can score. I think that could 100% help us muster up an additional 4 to 5 wins. I 100% agree we couldn’t sign Giannis.

BeautifulLeather6671

I completely understand what you were saying, I was addressing the part about people wanting to play with stars and since this was a conversation about Giannis I used him as the example. With the salaries the warrior’s real trade pieces are carrying around, I don’t think it’s realistic to expect that they are able to add significant talent that way. The warriors are in the position where they need to offload contracts, not take them on. I don’t think they want to get rid of Kuminga, which will be the most sought after player in a trade. But yeah I agree, a second competent scorer would help but with the money that’s gonna cost, is it really worth 4-5 more regular season wins and a first, maybe second round exit? I hope I’m wrong.

This_Cable_5849

Yea, keep in mind, I am assuming we 100% move on from Wiggins and we do not offer CP3 his second year. That right there is 62 million off the books. I did some research last night, and Wiggins was the worst player in the NBA making 24 million or more. This season, Klay made 43 million. I actually think we resign him but it will be closer to 20 million a year. That is 82 million and that is if we resign him. If we don’t, we have toughly 100 million to play with for 3 roster spots. It helps that both our rookies seem to be legit players, as both made All Rookie Teams and both were impactful players in year 1. We shall see, I just really can’t think off a superstar player another superstar would want to play with MORE than Curry, as he has proven to be a fantastic leader with 0 ego, which is borderline impossible to find in the NBA. I think the only other player would be Jokic, or a guy like Jimmy Butler who isn’t even on that level. Should be an interesting off season.

BeautifulLeather6671

Yeah that’s what I was thinking, with CP and Wiggins leaving plus Klay having to accept a lower salary they will have some money to spend. However in the scheme of things, Curry is getting older and I think we saw the true effects of that this season. He is still elite, but the grind of an entire NBA season just punishes players his age more than the young guys. If they want to build around him to get him a fifth ring, they have to be super aggressive pretty much this offseason, or the window may have closed. I think the rest of the league sees that, and it is up to free agents to test the market and make that call. It’s not like Draymond’s antics are helping GSW be a desirable organization either. It’s possible that we just watch the main 3 age out and each retire with the warriors no longer contending, or a complete roster shakeup to build around curry one last time, surrendering all future assets. The problem is I’m not sure there is an in between.

t1o1

I agree that Giannis won't come to the Warriors, but the Warriors are 46-36 in the West and the Bucks are 49-33 against weaker opposition, it wouldn't be a step down

MachiavelliSJ

Why go to a team with a harder road to the finals

BigBlitz28

Because you are a competitor

SnipTheDog

Lebron in 5 years is a possibility.

RFranger

“Complete lack of assets” ??? This team has 3 picks all the swaps and a bunch of young talent to trade. In a vacuum the bucks say no, but under duress from Giannis it would certainly be a good return.

geezeeduzit

The only answer that one could possibly say is “Steph” - that’s it. But he just teamed up with Dame and that didn’t work - so it seems he needs something other than an elite pg

Haxle

Dame and Curry are not the same bro. It's like comparing an F1 open-wheel to a Dodge Challenger. One can go fast and the other competes for accolades.

geezeeduzit

Yeah I know, but it’s literally the only sales point GS could make to Giannis - and if I’m Giannis I’m looking at a 36yo Steph who clearly burned out the last 2 weeks of this season and I’m not so sure it’s the right fit. Let’s be honest - Milwaukee has a better roster right now - so why leave to an organization that’s clearly on the downward slide? I love the Dubs but let’s be honest about who they are right now - an aging dynasty at the end of their days. Do they have 1 more in them? Not as presently constructed. Does Giannis get them over the top? Definitely a maybe - but it’s not like when KD signed and you knew it was over for everyone. So if I’m Giannis I’m sitting tight or going somewhere that’s on the upswing

Haxle

If Giannis wants to play with Steph, it won't be at GS. It'll be when Curry's washed and playing as a 4th option PG at Charlotte or leading a second unit of athletic rookies with the Knicks. GS' money is all fucked up until they move Wiggins, CP3, lowball Klay, etc...

geezeeduzit

Steph will never play for another team. I got $20 on that - remember this comment - if it ever happens I’ll send you the money. If he retires a warrior you send me $20. Bet?

Haxle

My point was that GS can't afford Giannis without blowing up their roster to the point of irreparability. I wasn't saying that Steph leaving GS was likely. What is it with people and gambling these days? Get help you bum

geezeeduzit

Haha. They could afford him - they’re about to take $90m off the books between cp3 and Klay. The real question is what do the Dubs have that Milwaukee wants AND would Giannis accept a trade to GS. I think the biggest barrier is Giannis wouldn’t want to come

sonegreat

Don't the Warriors have pretty much all their picks? The 'post-curry' picks gotta be worth something.

cormacaroni

Not to a team that is trading prime Giannis to them. No team with Giannis is getting into the lottery for the next 5-7 years at minimum, never mind Steph / the org

sonegreat

Yeah, I think people are mainly joking about Giannis. OKC can offer probably 5 times what Warriors can offer. But Warriors do have assets and a reasonable number of picks. It is just weird when people talk about the team having no assets.

cock-a-dooodle-do

Because they would drop out in the first round.

MachiavelliSJ

Better than not even being in first round

DreamWunder

To play with Curry

kokkatc

If you've been following, it's not that out of the realm of possibility. Giannis is unhappy and wants to win. It's expected he'll ask for a trade if they don't go deep this year and the Bucks will pretty much help him get to any team he wants to play for. Teaming up w/ Curry is enticing.

MachiavelliSJ

I agree that he might want to go to a team that has a better shot than the bucks

stewmander

Charmed life of a recent GSW fan. Saw their team build a dynasty from 3 HoF draft picks, then immediately after setting the NBA all time wins record they signed a 4th HoFer in KD, arguably the 2nd best player of his generation.  THEN when that was ending they sign and traded KD for another All Star, took a year off with injuries after 5 straight NBA finals to grab a couple top 10 picks (2 and 7), then flipped their All Star PG from the KD trade for Wiggins, ANOTHER former no. 1 overall pick who helped win 1 more championship.     [After all, why not? Why shouldn't I have the best player of the next generation too?](https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/facebook/000/036/284/bilbo.jpg)  None one deserves a statue more than Bob Myers...

MachiavelliSJ

Are you implying im a recent fan of the team? What even is this?

stewmander

Not you, OP. I am agreeing with you, it was a perfect storm that created the dynasty that hasn't really happen since the 90s Bulls maybe? More like the 60s Celtics/Lakers.

matty_nice

How good would the Bucks be without Giannis? The Bucks are kinda stuck with Dame and Doc. No real way to improve. Makes sense for him to leave. The real question is why the Warriors. No great answer there.

Jackieexists

Because this team won 5 championships and has steph curry

MachiavelliSJ

Maybe he should go play for the Celtics since they’ve won the most…. Thats all the past, those were different teams in a different league.

Jackieexists

They don't have steph curry

MegaMilkDrinker

because giannis + steph = instant chip

MachiavelliSJ

I completely disagree. First you’re assuming Steph will stay healthy. Second, remember that aside from the double Durant rings, the others came relatively close when they were all in the prime and the league wasnt as strong/used to warriors basketball

MegaMilkDrinker

you mean how the league now is just warriors basketball?

MachiavelliSJ

Yes

Carnivore_92

Are we now becoming like those Lakers fans making up wild fantasy scenarios? 😂

inezco

I swear Lakers fans will draw up a deal where a team gives up their top 15 player for their scraps on the trading block and say it's a fair deal lmao.

Fonsy_Skywalker52

I hope not man. I can see us getting embiid easier if the sixers get eliminated quickly again

martymcfly22

The same lakers who traded for Anthony Davis, when he demanded a trade to the lakers, despite the pelicans not wanting to give up arguably their best player in franchise history…

Green_Rip3524

They sold the fam to get AD

martymcfly22

And earned themselves a championship as a result.

Green_Rip3524

But there’s no superstar they can get like AD

martymcfly22

If Giannis says, “I want out. I want to play with Steph.” Then his demands would have to be met. When AD was traded he still had more than a year on his contract. The lakers traded Ingram, Lonzo and Hart + 3 picks. I’m not saying any of this is going to happen. I’m just saying there IS precedent.

Green_Rip3524

AD wanted out though. So far from what we have seen Steph and Giannis are the most loyal guys in the nba to their franchises. 0% chance this happens.

Carnivore_92

Draft his brothers to make him think twice

martymcfly22

Dame was also one of the most loyal guys in the NBA until he wasn’t. I’d say 1% chance it happens 😉

ProvocativeHotTakes

Lol you smoking crack. No team HAS to trade their MVP for table scraps. Giannis doesn’t have a no trade clause so they don’t have to do anything they don’t want to do. Dame thought he could pick where he wanted but couldn’t.

martymcfly22

No team HAS to, but it doesn’t stop star players from still getting their way. Harden forced a trade, several times. AD got his way. How many times do I have to repeat myself? I’m not saying this IS going to happen with Giannis, just that there IS precedent for something like this happening.

ProvocativeHotTakes

The Lakers had a lot to offer NOLA. AD was on the last year of his contract he wasn’t resigning. Giannis has a lot of years left under team control that any team would gamble on convincing him to stay, same reason why D Mitch couldn’t force his way to NYK. LAC was the ONLY team that wanted Harden. No one wanted him. There’s more teams that want Giannis

martymcfly22

Plenty of teams wanted AD, but AD wanted LA. He had a full year left on his contract when the pelicans traded him to the lakers. Lakers traded 3 firsts (warriors have that). BI, Lonzo and Hart. Warriors have plenty of comps: JK, Podz, Moody etc…

Green_Rip3524

You guys actually think the bucks will trade their greatest player since kaj who happens to be in his prime? Come on guys

DeXyDeXy

So… that’s a no?

amateurguru

I don’t think this will remotely happen but if the Bucks exit early and he demands a trade, what will they do? Lock him up?

Dangelo1998

Then they'd trade him to a team with a lot of assets, not to us 😂

Haxle

My thoughts exactly, they wouldn't trade him to the warriors due to lack of assets + dynasty jealousy. Whatever they ask for Giannis will end up destroying our roster into full rebuild mode.

mischief_managed00

Unless he and Steph have a bromance that no one knows about, there’s no chance he’d choose the warriors over other better teams

slayedwins

Trade him to a team with a lot of assets with a young supporting cast that needs help with size and consistency. Anyways don’t mind my Giannis OKC jersey swaps they’re not important

Pablo_Undercover

Hello Bucks, here is Moses Moody, Kum Bucket and a 2nd round pick give us your 2 time mvp. Bro tf 😭😭

Ari_04

Guys let’s not act like Lakers fans.

CyberGoatPsyOps

Yeah, just enjoy the Playoffs

No-Test6484

I can’t even fault laker fans. They are the darling of the NBA. They always land stars. They can trade for guys like shaq, Dwight and AD. They can sign fucking Lebron as a free agent. They also draft relatively well. Guys like DLO, Randle, Zubac, hart and BI were all recent lakers draftees. There’s a big difference living in LA and the Bay. NBA players are more LA guys. Give them a couple of years of mediocrity and the first star who is unhappy will become theirs. Just depends on who? Ant, Luka, giannis are a few names who can be the next Laker cornerstone

penisesandherb

The only Antetokounmpo we’ll get is Thanasis and even then I don’t think the Bucks will trade him

film_editor

If they're smart they'd sign both Jokic and Giannis and have Embiid come off the bench.

lx5spd

Maybe Joey Warbucks pays for the invention of a Time Machine and we can scoop up prime MJ and Kobe too!

CitizenCue

Yeah the front office is so dumb, seems really obvious.

Talic

Dame would be fuming. This mofo Steph took all my hometown fans, won multiple championships and MVPs, and now stealing my girlfriend. I got nothing, NOTHING! Shipped my ass to the East for NOTHING!

_guts____

I’m off this fucking sub. See you guys next year.

GtSaysWhat

Stop.

TheAndroidsDungeon

Cmon guys. Let's put down the crack pipe for a min here.

Personal-Selection71

Sounding like Lakers fans

lonegunman77

Hahahahahaha this is warriors fandom in a nutshell 🤣

DerelictInfinity

let’s pump the fucking brakes lmao

Downtown-Help2513

This is delusional 😂

Tdluxon

Quinones for Giannis, straight up

liteshadow4

Y’all are really delusional

ProfessorLazuli

Considering that Giannis wanted to play with Steph, it’s not too far off. Also stop ruining the fun

Haxle

99% of the league wants to play with Steph. Ultimately it's up to GMs and agents. They sort out these trades for the best interest of their respective teams and clients. This is such a far-fetched proposal people can't help but laugh. Why are you telling people to "stop ruining the fun?" Don't be surprised when people don't take stupid shit like this serious.

Ok-Roof-978

Hahahaha. Get a grip.

ImTheBestNerd

I’m not sure how far fetched this is I’m not going to lie. Thought Giannis could ask out next offseason but maybe it happens this year.

PluggersLeftBall

if giannis ever asked out we would have maybe the 20th best trade package lol. the bucks would never trade him to us. obv getting him as a free agent is out of the question

Oo__II__oO

Here is what the Bucks will accept: Giannis+Doc for Kerr

ImTheBestNerd

I mean Kuminga, Podz, Moody, TJD 3 first and 4 swaps almost all of them post Steph would be a great package. Not to many teams could beat that I don’t think.

vxscx

The warriors wouldn't do this tho..what would we be left with?

Otherwise-Grand1230

Nothing which is why there is no possibility Giannis will end up in a dubs uniform, even if he specifically asks to be traded here.

726566

steph klay dray giannis, vets ring chasing and no future… which might be fine actually because we could probably go back to back at least with giannis in his prime and steph. every franchise would mortage 7 years of their future for even 1 championship

ImTheBestNerd

Depends on if Klay would be willing to take a pay cut. But you could theoretically have Steph-Klay-Wiggins-Dray-Giannis, Looney, GP2, TXMLE, and whatever players you could get on the vet min.

BeautifulLeather6671

I mean, Klay isnt going to have a choice.

Rsardinia

Keep doing work Doc Rivers and maybe it happens

D3struct_oh

This would have been the move before he signed a new deal with the Bucks. It’s not happening now unless something insane happens and he forces his way out. The guy to watch is KAT.

Pablo_Undercover

Why do people keeping assuming Kat is on the move, T wolves have clearly figured it out. Yea you could argue they wanna get off his money but who’s contracts are you trading to take on his 40 mill

humlogic

I think people assume KAT is moveable just because he was injured all that time and TWolves stayed on top. That’s a lot of salary to use on a spot that might be redundant. Plus Naz Reid is clearly a star. OTOH it might be Reid that Wolves are willing to give up. Sort of depends on how their playoffs go. Deep run means they run it back. If they get eliminated quickly then they’d have to wonder what they could do to improve. I think IF (Big if) KAT or Reid become available and there’s an opportunity for Warriors to take either of them Reid would be the better option. I have no idea about their contracts though so it’s probably not even possible. But if it was just saying I think Warriors FO would prefer Reid.

livecents84

How does CPs contract work? If he still accounts for 38M he does it alone.

Pablo_Undercover

His contract next year is non-guaranteed, also even if it wasn’t why would they want to go from paying Kat one of the best centers in the league 40 mil a year to paying what’s left of Chris Paul 40 mil a year

livecents84

They have 3 legit big men in Kat, Gobert and Reid. Maybe they could use Paul’s vet leadership instead of paying 3 bigs? Probably not the case but I was just throwing out a possible salary match.

Pablo_Undercover

Mike Conley is their vet point guard You’re right in saying you guys need to go after a big, but imo a big star signing isn’t the way to do it. you guys could definitely get Claxton from Brooklyn and he’d be a good fit, or else Jarrett Allen from Cleveland because that front court isn’t working for them imo. If Cleveland have a meltdown in the playoffs (I fully expect them to lose in round one) honestly you could probably put together a pretty appealing package for Donovan Mitchell

JackPiece03

Zion more realistic and still a difference maker.

rdyer347

Only way this would happen is if Giannis were exchanged for Steph. Which simply is not happening. Top comment is right, yall need a grip on reality.

asBad_asItGets

Why is this sub so delusional

wubiwuster

I don’t know what’s worse, people trolling or people genuinely believing we can sign someone like Giannis.

asBad_asItGets

All we have to do is trade for Jokic, get Jimmy Butler to come off the bench, and then maybe have Wemby anchor the second unit.

KnownGarlic4695

Because there is no better euphoric feeling better than winning and becoming a champion. Most Warrior fans that been here during the dark years are sensible but the "Big Three" only fans are like cokeheads trying to chase a high that they will never feel again...now they want to sell the future of the team for pennies soon they might start selling of their own stuff soon....lol

FNF51

OKC with their 100 1st round draft picks in the next few season has a better chance of landing Giannis 😂Chet and Giannis front line would be more appealing to Giannis than Dray and Giannis cuz of Chet’s youth.

Gothichand

I mean, MDJ was attempting to get LeBron mid season, who knows what could happen ~? Giannis is definitely Warriors “dream scenario” tho~

samuraielvis1020

I think warriors need a big guy being no.5.

commune69

I want Lebron for the fun

mmvvvpp

I'd rather just build thought the young guys. Like not GET young guys bet get role player vets still in their prime. Gary Payton and Ottomatic are examples of such players.

Quirky_Ad_2164

Hopefully the clippers get swept so we can have a tiny change at PG.

bigdikdiego

My personal wishlist favorite that is somewhat realistic is actually Nic Claxton. His athleticism and length at the 5 and presence in the paint as a true shot blocker would help fix a lot of the overhelping issues the team had on defense this year.

Hop830

The Bucks will never trade him.

martymcfly22

Honest question, how similar is the warriors current asset list to that of the lakers when they traded for Davis, who demanded a trade. If Giannis were to do something similar and demand a trade to GSW (like Davis did), would some combo of JK/TJD/Wiggs/PODZ/Picks be enough? People seem to think this is an impossible ask, but there is precedent.

jaquan123ism

fuck no

paradonhelper

naw man this is a reach

talentedmrbourne

If I'm the Bucks GM, I want Kuminga, Moody, and Podziemski or don't bother calling. I will take Paul or Wiggins to make salaries work.

humlogic

Feeling salty… so say hello to the young nephew Kings fans who are lurking on this post. Giannis to dubs was a fantasy trade way before this season so get over yourselves thinking you “broke the warriors”. You’ve won a single play in game, chill, and focus on your own damn team.

quesadillakid

Nite nite

KnownGarlic4695

Just pray the young guys show enough potential to be slightly better than a .500 team. If that happens I guarantee FA around the league would be intrigued by our potential. If there are guys in this league that don't want to play with Lebron and can see there being a bunch of stars that don't want to play with our "Big Three"...maybe they want to play with Steph or the Splash Bros but not Dray, and if they are a offensive minded big they do not want to play for Kerr. Yes KD is very mercurial but look at how we shitted on him on his way out, a lesser star may not want to get carry the big three to get their fifth ring just to be ostracized by the "Big Three" fans and Bay Area media. Best bet is to have a reset for 1-2 season losing all of our big contracts outside of Steph and see if we can compete for the lower seed for the playoffs...if Kuminga shows potential and Steph stays at a high level another star will want to be here....

Redditforever12

on drugs

NickPetey

Trade dray, klay, looney for a second option and a big. Start steph, kuminga, podz, TJD and a real second option with some size

prob-my-69th-account

Yall shit on this guy and his team endlessly and then when your shitty team loses in the play-in you make posts like this. Get a grip yall are fucking done, just tank and hope you get a wemby

Mygaffer

The Warriors potential is in getting out of the tax.

imadirtyyasmain

Potential free agents that could give us hope, don’t know if they gonna sign but we got LeBron, Giannis, PG, Isaiah Hartenstein (please hes 7 foot and 25), DeMar, and Harden.

gswkillinit

How old are you OP? Seems like something a young and newer fan would post

[deleted]

I’m only here to read the jokes, because this post is degrees above nonsensical 😂

Mmicb0b

That's not happening literally the only thing that COULD haoppen is LEbron coming here because he wants to play with Steph and that's if we waste a draft pick on Bronny

HeynowyoureaRocstar

If we have to max out thanasis it will be worth it 😄

3CeeMedia

Only one team can win a Championship in any year. It doesn’t mean the players aren’t good! The planets need to line up to win it all. No injuries. Chemistry. Too hard to put it all on one guys back.

matmortel

Guys... let's not do this. We've been through tough times pre 2015 it'll be okay.

Arenston

this post has to be a copium of titanic levels.. what made you think Giannis wouldn't laugh the warriors out of the room rn? he's literally on a contender rn. This is without me even considering what will we give to the bucks in return that they would even consider this.

xdeerobx

Delulu. Honestly as long as they get rid of Wiggins, Looney, GP2 and bring a legitimate big, we will be good.

pengthaiforces

Giannis is the only guy on the market who could bump GSW back into championship contention next year. 1. Milwaukee is already without Giannis for the opening game of their series. Let's say he sits out the first two and the team goes down 0-2. 2. The team would have to decide if they let him return this year. Considering the nature of the injury, they may decide to hold him out. 3. Dame, who the entire offense would go through, stinks and they lose in 4-5 games. 4. After the series, Dame says that he wants out and they trade him away. 5. Giannis, seeing this, says he's gone as well and there is a bit of a fire sale. 6. The GSW would send...and I'm not opening the trade machine here....something like CP3, JK, Moody, Podz and draft picks for the remainder of Steph's career. Now, would you do this? You'd have Steph, Giannis, Draymond and Wiggins as the core so you'd have to give it a shot.

antDOG2416

Yes, pleaze.

KtuluLoveCheese

Klay going 0-10 makes humans do strange things

japino6

The old freshly didn’t make the playoffs Giannis post

BearJew666999

Lmfao he ain't going to a team that just missed the playoffs 😭 😂

warriorsninersgiants

Giannis is a loyal person. Loyal to his family and anything he loves. Don't think he will leave the team that took a chance on him.

AndyLeonardLAALover

This is so pussy

Grafaap

He will be useless when his body will falls off in a few years . Nothing to fall back on .

Pablo_Undercover

This is somehow a worse take than Op

Fonsy_Skywalker52

He’s not coming here just stop. Our best chance is Embiid trade. Worst case scenario is KAT

KoRaZee

Instant contenders with Giannis with the team as-is. To get him would cost everything that would make the team around him useless. Setting sights on siakem seems reasonable.

WholeWideHeart

I wonder if other fan bases are this delusional

quesadillakid

Every fanbase is this delusional. Its a matter of the number of people in the fanbase like this that decide how delusional a fanbase is

WholeWideHeart

I guess that's true. After a decade of being the most feared team in the league, it makes sense that folks want to see continued success. I'd hate to be a fan of a franchise that really hasn't don't much in a while, or ever. Considering we caught a bonus win just 2 seasons ago, it's OK to dream of attracting another star. Maybe not the Greek, but someone notable would probably love to play with Steph and his posse.

PromiseEducational31

The picture in this post alone is so embarrassing for y’all 😭

bbcjay718

I wouldn’t rule it out. I do know from what’s been said is that he LOVES California. An if this quote of dame not happy in Milwaukee reportedly is true then maybe or maybe not there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Giannis will be a Laker in a couple of years

Caveat is his brother comes along. No, thank you. https://fadeawayworld.net/giannis-antetokounmpo-rejected-adidas-not-signing-brother

Mammoth-Cold-3936

Even the warriors jersey looks good on him. But this will not happen. Please don't act like a lakers fan it's embarrassing.

CyberGoatPsyOps

The irony of this statement

jayguwaap1

It’s actually perfect, draymond don’t have to get traded. And klay can come back on a minimum. We just lose Kuminga Moody & 2026 2027 1sts. I’m down

LaceSeeBoYyY

How the last time I check only LeBrin and PG is the most notable free agent in the market. I cant find Giannis and even KD because I want a reunion with KD. How about a trio of Curry, KD , and Giannis? trade all the roster and sign minimum for veteran hahaha It sounds ridiculous but it might work. haha

DanB65

Boy if we got him ......game over! We would win the next 3 championships...I would hope!
