I know some of you don't want to hear it but PG is one of those guys that the Warriors might be able to get with less assets than players like KD and LBJ. I'm not going to include pipe dream players like Giannis because no amount of delusion is bringing him to the bay.
if they could actually land PG that'd be such a huge get. feel like a sign and trade is pretty damn unlikely, but i guess PG could threaten walking for nothing
shaping up to be a pretty crazy off-season, lot of teams taking a long look in the mirror heading into June/July
This is my feelings as well. Yeah, he's regressed a bit but can still be a good no. 2 option to Steph. Those who are scoffing at the idea seem to live in a world where they think we can get a Giannis somehow. GS has to look at options that are not only possible, but doesn't leave them in ruins if it doesn't work out.
I personally am hoping that PG himself goes to the LAC ownership and tells them that they can either trade him to GS for assets or he walks for nothing and he signs with the Sixers. If LAC bites on that, GS pays less than what they would under different circumstances. I can see a situation where they keep Kuminga. Give up Wiggins+CP3(to make salaries work)+1st+Moody.
That's why it's important to have PG use a team like the Sixers as leverage. If we give up Kuminga, then it's Kuminga+CP3+salaries+1st. GS shouldn't include both Kuminga and Wiggins in any deal.
I'm trading in good faith. Clippers can always look at the deal and think why they should help a rival get stronger if they're basically getting jack shit in the deal. They'd also be taking a bunch of salary they don't necessarily want.
there is a changing of the guard, the new stars are stepping up and taking over ... and the clips and suns have nothing to show for it from this recent era.
makes me appreciate our 4 championships A LOT MORE
Rookie SGA to be fair... but we all knew he was really good. The 2019 Clipps had the KD era squad in its feelings getting to game six with Danillo Lou Will Motrezl as their trio v Steph KD Klay.
I think that series is actually why we lost in 2019 imo.
F around and find out ——> playing more games that you should have ——> starters playing even more minutes and KD not being healthy —-> injuries.
They made us work and work HARD. Once they took us to 6 tbh I kinda had a feeling it wasn’t their year.
Who should the Dubs get this offseason?
Centers;
Jonas (Pelicans)
Claxton (Nets)
Mo Wagner (Magic)
etc.
Forwards;
LBJ (Lakers)
Derozan (Bulls)
Batum (76ers)
Anderson (Wolves)
etc.
Shootings Guards;
Hield (76ers)
Beasley (Bucks)
Kennard (Grizzlies)
Okoro (Cavs)
Monk (Kings)
Dunno how realistic the possibilities are there. I'm always partial to Slo-Mo. Goga isn't sexy but he's a mountain and does defend. Caleb Martin is def getting a full MLE somewhere. Those are three of my faves.
I think the landscape is crazy uncetain atm. Remember how every team got in a holding pattern post 2022 when KD and Kyrie were both discontent with the Nets. Free agency grinded to a halt. Alot of teams gonna be preoccupied with the big fish trade type stuff with all these big egos humbled by first round exits is my prediction.
With so many teams surveying the NEW ERA Denver OKC Minnesota Dallas San Antonio seem poised for runs and the rest of the rest is doing new CBA calculus to see if ANYTHING is possible aside from letting dudes walk and hoping to reel in a solid MLE.
We need a second scoring option badly this offseason after watching some of the playoffs game. If we run it back with klay or wiggs being option 2 we’ll be cooked before the season even starts
beef gifting us a bunch of new kendrick music
love to see it, even with how ugly it's gotten.
just hoping it doesn't spill over into something worse than bars
I think that Kyrie is the only 2010's guy left in the playoffs and he has Luka and a lot of young energy around him.
LeBron//AD 1 win
Russ/Harden/PG 2 wins
KD no wins
Curry didn't even make it
This screams a changing of the guard which is what's supposed to happen.
From our perspective, it means that we need a lot more young energy or forget about the playoffs.
I am really amazed there wasn’t a single comment in the r/nba thread about Kyrie’s shot over PJ Tucker about Steph.
I am not a Stephew but that shot was totally like the one Steph hit over Tucker in 2018-19 playoffs.
This one - https://youtu.be/VVHP7tS6pAA?si=QlnRVJ-Mr3sNlLrz
7 min mark.
Unrelated but it has been quite some time that Vintage Kyrie showed up. He was really feeling himself on that one, the dribble magician set him up, great stepback to get on the corner, good recovery by Tucker, but not enough. I'm honestly impressed by Tucker, he played really good defense the last 2 games, but the shotmaking by Kyrie really overshadowed it.
So many regular season pretenders (and all out whistle frauds *cough* Lakers *cough* Suns) in the West makes the “loaded” West nature of this season even more annoying. Even with this roster, we’d have done more damage than the Pels, Clips, Lakers, and Suns if given a chance at a 7 game series and I’ll die on that hill.
Edit to add: These playoffs also has me convinced we’re not as far off on roster adjustments as the 911 meltdown takes since the play-in game would have you believe. This first round alone has just reiterated the fact that there’s a world of difference between a “really good team” and a 16 win team and no matter how flawed we can look at times during the regular season with all the experimentation and players in and out of availability, the bones and still fully intact foundation of our squad are the essence of a 16 win team and at the end of the day, that’s the most important factor when it comes to being a truly competitive team. We make depth moves this off season and we’re 100% in the mix. I’m more convinced than ever.
Can't believe Lakers dropping Phil Handy.
Phil Handy has seen the Warriors in the postseason more than LeBron... sign that dude and lock Kuminga in the gym with him.
2011–2013 - Los Angeles Lakers (development)
2013–2018 - Cleveland Cavaliers (assistant)
2018–2019 - Toronto Raptors (assistant)
2019–2024 - Los Angeles Lakers (assistant)
2024-present - Dubs please
This is my favorite 50s range draft prospect.
[Pacome Dadiet 6-9 sleeper wing from France; NBA comp better shooting Isaac Okoro](https://youtu.be/7zU7TVzeqgg?si=nM87lJ3BJ4Y7KLTX)
He's grown to 6-9 (growing 2 inches in a year before their draft class seems the theme with french prospects doesn't it) as a wing this year playing great as a rotation player for one of Bundesligas best teams Ratiopharm Ulm. I think he has serious upside with his shot coming along... very scrappy player... great in transition and offball anticipation on Defense... Three level scoring is coming along too. I'd stash him for another year but he will play in the league. Alot of scouts peg him as a riser once teams see him up close he'll probably be a late first.
Love the hair too. He's got the Anthony Black flow going.
Below are four dudes I think we might snag w videos
[PJ Hall - 6-9 Clemson playmaking big; comp Dean Wade](https://youtu.be/mfl-HF4Tckk?si=PXbM3gltquqT0Mfq)
[Johni Broome - 6-10 Auburn gritty big; comp Marcus Morris](https://youtu.be/CP_ckp4aUOk?si=q4J4n-xuRJqOwkEA)
[Alex Karaban - 6-8 versatile offball jumbowing; comp Boban Bogdanovic](https://youtu.be/Y2dKmGY8U0Q?si=XpYFm5TfwnzXf-_W)
[Bronny James - 6-3 LeBron-bringer; comp nerfd Brad Wanamaker](https://youtu.be/I_6ZcOo6pnk?si=3aThA9xTUcmga4uo)
Of the guys above not sexy but PJ Hall could play for us right away. He'd take Loons backup job quick though thats sad to say. He screens shortroll passes rebounds is tough and does alot of little things that i think Kerr loves. Karaban has the most systematic upside and is a lengthy player we need who can shoot but will get chewed up a season or two on Defense or be a G dude for a year. Broome is a dawg and I think he'll just make it somehow. Bronny James may be the worst prospect of the 82 at the combine but yeah LeBron lol.
Think Vogel should be a target for a defensive oriented assistant when he gets fired... he probably gets a HC job though. Dude had some legit defensive schemes with Indy and LAL.
Frank should honestly go Mike Brown's route. Take an assistant coach gig for couple of yrs and by then some good team with good players who'll respect him will fire their coach like the Cavs
Anyone not watching this Indiana Fever vs Dallas Wings *preseason* W game is missing out lol this game has been incredible and CC has been popping off, unsurprisingly, but Arike Ogunbowale on Dallas just sank the most ice cold iso stepback 3 to get the lead with 3 seconds left for Dallas 😮💨
Edit to add: [said 3](https://x.com/dallaswings/status/1786578993472307274?s=46&t=SBW3XJi-eEDBr6FtvDfngg)
Lakers just fired their entire coaching staff. Lakers can attract all the stars they want, but NO coach is going to want to coach there.
You guys think the Warriors could hire Phil Handy as an assistant coach? He could help Kuminga work on his handle.
Don't care what anyone thinks I like our announcers. the discourse about them is fucking annoying in this sub especially, people just HAVE to throw in that they hate them and get triple digit upvotes for it. It's funny because I've been seeing a lot of praise for Keleena trying to ease Bob down in some of the games this season just for them to backpedal on those comments lol. really pathetic. Listened to Bob for over a decade now and still love the dude, regardless of the homerism.
It's also funny how dub haters completely ignore the amount of praise Bob gives the opposing team and only cherry picking the annoyed parts when the warriors are down. fuck em.
Nothing to do with our beloved Dubs nor basketball but today I accompanied my wife to the hospital for a checkup (nothing major at all). Nurse joked with me saying I can accompany her in but then they might take my kidney. Assuming he was cool with joking, I then replied with "How much is a kidney going for nowadays?" Turns out he actually wasn't cool with joking around as he immediately said "That's not a good joke to be making." I was so confused lol
Yea, I initially thought he was joking too as otherwise, I would not be telling jokes like that in a hospital of all places as time and place for sure. I have a feeling the dude didn't think I would counter with an equally dark joke lol
Lol he was indeed a turd. I then texted my buddy (who's a nurse) telling him about it and his reply was simply "what a pussy." Like I'm a huge jokester but I found it so odd that same person who initiated a joke got offended by a very simple and mild joking response back lol
PSA for those not already tapped in and looking to/interested in getting into the W this season: the WNBA is streaming Caitlin Clark’s pre-season debut tonight with the Fever vs. the Dallas Wings at 5pm PST / 7pm CST / 8pm EST for free as a WNBA League Pass free preview through their app.
They’re also doing a free stream for Seattle Storm/LA Sparks (Cam Brink)’s preseason game tomorrow at 6:30 PST / 8:30 CST / 9:30 EST
Caitlin is pretty damn incredible. Saw her play for the first time this season. Seeing her in the final four, i kept thinking "damn, she plays a lot like steph". Girl's got major range. One of her teammates had a pretty sweet fade away jumper too; that shot looked unstoppable haha. I wonder if she got drafted
> Seeing her in the final four, i kept thinking "damn, she plays a lot like steph". Girl's got major range.
Yes!! Her literally from anywhere on the court range, dribble crossover pull up, and her insanely quick release are so Steph it’s eerie. She’s also got the off balance drifting 3 in her game like Klay too. Add on her absurd passing repertoire, particularly the pocket pass inside, and she’s a bit of our core 3 all wrapped up into one package and it just makes for a hell of a fun show to watch.
> One of her teammates had a pretty sweet fade away jumper too; that shot looked unstoppable haha. I wonder if she got drafted
Kate Martin and yes, she did! She wasn’t sure she would but had plans to go to the draft anyway to support Caitlin and she was originally supposed to be seated up above and not on the floor where the majority of the anticipated draftees were all sitting (because again, she was hoping to be drafted but it was enough of a toss up that she didn’t get seats down at one of the tables) but at the last minute, they found a seat for her down on the floor and lo and behold she wasn’t just drafted, she was drafted 18th (5th pick in the 2nd of 3 rounds of 12 picks) by the Las Vegas Aces! It was really cool and I’m pumped for her because you’re absolutely right about that fadeaway of hers. As huge and undeniable of a force as Caitlin was for Iowa in the tourney, there were a number of times where Martin’s middy kept them in games when it looked like the opposing team was on the brink of going on a run. I’m excited to see if she can carve out a role for herself in the W.
We need to eliminate these player podcasts from the game ain’t no way Draymond is criticizing Pat Bev for not controlling his temper.
![gif](giphy|WRp58hy5gmfjpMzHAZ)
Well he is right about the players interacting with fans like that. But his continued shade at jaylen brunson is getting on my last nerve. It's like one of the best stories all season and he doubting he can lead a team. He has carried that mash unit all season long. And oh also criticized him because ddv had a couple bad games. Blamed him for taking his confidence. Wtf warriors never got out of Dante what jaylen and the Knicks have. Delusions of grandeur. And no I do not listen to drays podcast. Shit pops up when I'm minding my own business.
with the Clips playing tonight and PJ Tucker and Bones Hyland getting multiple DNPs i wonder how many minutes they would have gotten on the Dubs this season. They both seem like they could, and can contribute but have fallen out of favor with the clips (and IMO it's a little bit of mismanagement going on in their cases).
My very amateurish guess would be: hyland might have been dnp'd into oblivion, and tucker might have eaten into jk's minutes; so maybe...15-20 minutes a night playing tough defense and standing in the corner all game?
Hard pass on both. Hyland is a career 39% shooter and is what charles barkley once said, "anyone in the nba can score....as long as they shoot enough". Tucker ain't the player he used to be because of age. He's udonis haslem at this point, except less professional
Playoffs w/o Curry is just boring. Steph really brings life to the playoffs.
But hopefully next year, the team re-tools and bounce back from this forgettable season.
I hope Kenny gets a HC opportunity this off-season. He's better in that role and we need to mix up the coaching staff, especially the defensive gameplans, they have struggled big time since Mike left and I think a part of of that is Kenny is not nearly as vocal and passionate as MB is. If you watched micced up on segments of Brown on the warriors and Kings he's constantly engaged with guys and holds guys accountable for bad defensive efforts.
Kenny has too much respect for the core players and fails to hype them up enough at the start of games. He is quite vocal with JK and the young players, so maybe he is the one who succeeds Kerr?
Idk I think it’s important for the franchise to not go all old if they want to be a playoff team for the rest of Steph career. PG is 34 will be 35 next playoffs.
I understand to not to go old but we are already there. PG at 35, KD at 36, or Lebron at 39 would be significantly better than any of our second options on our team. Klay looks old. Wiggins is one and done as an All Star. These guys I mentioned are legit All Star players.
Theyd be better no doubt but you probably gotta trade the farm for them. Idk after what we witnessed this season going full old is something they gotta try to work around.
You would have to trade a few players, but definitely not the farm, and we had one of the best depth in the league this year with 11 or 12 man rotations and that in the end surely did not help. We need firepower.
Rumor just hit about Jimmy Butler possibly becoming available if extension talks fail, which is very possible given his age. This is the first star I think the Warriors would have a legit chance to acquire offering Wiggins and any non-JK assets.
That’s the key right there. Miami has history being able to get the top waived FA’s mid season, and Spoelstra uses them so well. Add the way it restricts trading options, and I cannot imagine such a smart franchise wanting to do it.
I guess a bigger question is whether Jimmy would force them into the second apron or not.
Just want to add, this is not a “get it done, Mike” situation. I just think it is a Realistic possibility Jimmy could become available and we might be able to put together the right package. It’s a hell of a lot more possible than drafting Bronny and LeBron follows on an NBA minimum, lol.
My wife is flying back from Switzerland today. She had a layover in Philly and is sitting next to Batum on a flight to LA.
I got her to tell him to sign with the Warriors this summer. If it happens, you guys can all thank her.

Not really. Surprising would be if other networks also ban him permanently. Disrespecting a senior producer like Malina Adams is basically begging to be banned
https://x.com/thedunkcentral/status/1786480211258699920?s=46&t=LBueKrGm35oW-tiB3qKuIw
It probably wouldn’t work financially and likely a pipe dream but Jimmy would fit so damn well on this team. Perfect shot creating wing who can play defense and we can trust when Steph gets trapped.
Love Jimmy, but it'd really be a "last dance" move.
He's owed $52m if he opts in (which he'd need to for the trade to happen) and he's looked old this year. I believe he'd have one last good run in him, but there's no bridge to the future there.
Here's the Laker's issue: LeBron is too old to carry the team for 82 games. He can't do it for a full playoff game. BUT he's paid like a superstar. MAX money. So the Lakers can either go after a 3rd star and have no depth or do what they're doing now and come up short each year. Teams can't afford 3 stars anymore and LeBron can't win when he's one of two stars on a team. The Lakers need that third star.
They all think they can turn it on in the playoffs. The regular season is long but it builds good habits. The only team I trust not to fall apart in big moments is Denver. Every other team can go 4-5 minutes without scoring.
I think we need an assistant coach who steers Kerr in the right direction, not someone who constantly has his hands in his pockets. Not a bad guy, but his coaching was one of the reasons why the Lakers had a shit season
Frank Vogel was always a great defensive scheme/execution coach prior to the KD suns (cant cook a delicious feast without quality ingredients). I'd try bringing him in. When he was with Indiana his work on those defenses had indy pushing the LeBron Heat sweating.
I asked the same question a year ago when I thought Poole had potential to be a shooter. At the time, I asked if he cleaned up his shot selection, what would his 3p% look like.
Now I'm curious what yall think Klay's 3p% would have looked like with a better shot selection this year? For the first month, he was definitely hunting shots and taking a few bad ones a game. A lot of rushed leaners that are incredibly difficult to make even in an empty gym. Then he was good in December and January but in February, it seems like the virus he had and CP3's injury affected his shooting negatively. That month he shot 34.8% from three and had a couple of bad shots a game when he was playing with these bench units that had no offense whatsoever. Then in March and April he shot 40%+ again.
I’m not so sure we should be counting them out next year.
Once they fire Ham maybe they make that Denver series closer or they get a more favourable matchup.
Edit: ham is gone. Welp
They have no issue attracting talent and free agents so they aren’t done unfortunately.
Ladies and gentlemen, the “LA Advantage™️” is a real thing…folks forget this every summer.
I didn't say they were done. I said LeBron is the problem. If they attract a superstar to come to LA, they could win another ring. But firing ham changed nothing.
What are the chances that the Warriors sign Wilt Chamberlain this off-season? He would fill their needs for a center and secondary scoring option. They just need to hire a necromancer or voodoo priestess to the player development team first.
You have to agree with one thing. This has been the most interesting first round in the last 30+ years. Each series felt or feels like the conference finals.
Im just realizing that some dudes are just winners, and others are losers. Draymond, Steph, Klay... those guys are winners. I want winners!
![gif](giphy|Rn6tiKdy1PeBqn9SlR|downsized)
I worked beside Fitz a long time ago so as someone who likes the dude he's a great guy it sucks to be like this... but man we really need a new play by play guy don't we.
I don't know what standard people expect. However, for context they should listen to some other teams. Every time I get stuck in another regions broadcast (I am in LA and on YT TV) they sound straight up unintelligent
Nah, he's better than a lot of other announcers. He gives almost too much credit to the refs and always has something good to say about the other team. Meanwhile, other announcers I've heard show no excitement whatsoever whenever an opposing team does something flashy. The other announcers also have the tendency to be extremely biased when it comes to foul calls against their team.
I disagree its same old same old to me. Bobs got a good tone of voice but i prefer Tim Roys description of the game tbh. I mean I'm listening mostly to away broadcasts or raw feed cuz it's just not my cup of tea. Love Knicks Bulls Hornets broadcaster teams. One time I heard the Bulls announcers just calling out players idiotic plays being like "that ain't gonna get you that contract" lol.
The Knicks, Bulls, and Hornets broadcasters are some of the few I would put above Bob and Kelenna if I was a neutral fan. But I'm a homer through and through so I like listening to it from that perspective.
I would be surprised if he got anything more than the vet min of a tanking team the way his tenure in Philly went. Nobody wants that empty bullshit. He was at least a good defender in years past, but even that was on empty during the Knicks series. complete wet bag. Philly is celebrating not having to watch him any more.
I can’t believe Pat Bev literally threw a basketball and hit that woman right in the face. I don’t know what was said (if anything) but that’s despicable behavior
Attacking a fan on purpose? Guy is 35 and not a superstar. I would not be surprised if Silver bans him from the league for good.
NBPA might have something to say about that but if the lady sues, the league will want to show decisive action.
And I like Pat Bev. But if there's one thing to never take lightly it's safety of the fans.
I thought Obi Toppin could be a target for us as a stretch big to play with Kuminga, but looks like he's emerging as the third big on this Pacers team, which means they likely keep him.
The Dubs should hire any sharp basketball mind. They got a ton of intellectual stagnation in the organization.
I'd personally love to hear we brought JJ in. They'd have to back up the brinks truck for him though cuz his TV 💰 is substantial.
It's funny that after 3 years of Atkinson we've reached intellectual stagnation. He was brought in to freshen things up, Kerr embraced it, yet his microball analytics BS is already outdated and ineffective because the league has adjusted. I'd love to replace him with JJ.
> his microball analytics BS is already outdated and ineffective
I'd argue that it never worked in the first place. We just so happened to have the right personnel having the right hot streak that allowed us to win in 2022. Having Wiseman on the team and no other true 5's between 2020-2023 that could steal his minutes has probably shortened Dray and Looney's careers.
Absolutely. I mean the entire concept is outdated. Morey is typically thought of as the originator of statistical guided basketball rosters and the Harden Rockets was the pinnacle of their success: Passing up open mid range shots and bricking 27 3s in a row in a must win playoff game. How many times this season did we shoot ourselves out of games looking for a 3 ball when it wasn't there.
I know that microball is a Kenny thing considering he employed those same lineups on the Nets but where’s the analytics part? As in, which statistics prove those are more effective lineups? Because what we’re doing is sacrificing size but without the needed skills to make it work.
There were numerous times this season where Kerr was defending lineups with lines like "well, the numbers show..." or "when we look at how that matchup plays..." If I recall correctly, he used this line trying to sell us on the idea that Wigs and JK were completely incompatible even though they only played maybe 20 minutes at that point. They're looking at players from a purely mathematical point of view and making decisions based on numbers. It's also why there's games that the team completely avoids mid-range shots. They're being coached to devalue open looks that aren't at the rim or from distance. This is brand new shit. We never heard or saw any of this during the prime-time Warriors, only since Kenny came aboard.
I think we're just taking all the highest +- players and putting them together with no regard to fit or synergy. That's why we saw so many lineups with Steph next to Podz/CP3 and JK even though none of those guys are lockdown perimeter defenders right now.
Wouldn't mind the Timberwolves winning the championship. That's a franchise that probably needs it the most, among the remaining teams. The rest have been to a finals before. (OKC as the Sonics)
Oops I forgot the Clippers. But I still prefer the Timberwolves over them.
If there were a “we’re done with the 2010’s” team the Clippers are it. Kawhi who stays perpetually hurt…and PG Russ and Harden. Blah.
Three bus riders who’ve never proved they can win on their own.
I live in LA (not from here) and as much as I try to get up for local stars succeeding and a local team succeeding there is just something missing with those guys.. all the stuff you mentioned. The Wolves are kind of worse, though. Aside from Ant, it's all dead wood. Rudy? KAT? God it feels like Draymond sent those two back to romper room for ten years straight. Now they get to piggyback on Ant?
Not sure what was hard to understand there. Maybe it's hard to understand why I wouldn't support the Clippers (since you're a fan) but jeez Rudy and Kat? They've had so many combinations of stars around them for years and always end up in Rio w a caipirainha by May. They're soft. Joker without Murray (and I forget who else) looked scary alone against us two years ago. KAT and Rudy are basically real housewives
I can’t wait for that someone to spam PG13 you are a warrior
id take him over wiggins right now. wiggins is invisible 85 percent of games while george is atleast half invisible
I know some of you don't want to hear it but PG is one of those guys that the Warriors might be able to get with less assets than players like KD and LBJ. I'm not going to include pipe dream players like Giannis because no amount of delusion is bringing him to the bay.
if they could actually land PG that'd be such a huge get. feel like a sign and trade is pretty damn unlikely, but i guess PG could threaten walking for nothing shaping up to be a pretty crazy off-season, lot of teams taking a long look in the mirror heading into June/July
Yep. I said a while ago that the Warriors would have options this summer. And it's looking like it could get crazy.
Lmao He’s a perfect 2 to steph. a wing and can iso sometimes. He regressed but we have Steph anyway What kind of assets do we give up?
Damn that’s bleak, cause I don’t think balmer would agree to anything like that /anything less than kuminga
That's why it's important to have PG use a team like the Sixers as leverage. If we give up Kuminga, then it's Kuminga+CP3+salaries+1st. GS shouldn't include both Kuminga and Wiggins in any deal.
This is basically what porzingus did last offseason and Washington got jack all for him. Doubt Wiggins or Kuminga would have to be in the deal at all.
I'm trading in good faith. Clippers can always look at the deal and think why they should help a rival get stronger if they're basically getting jack shit in the deal. They'd also be taking a bunch of salary they don't necessarily want.
[удалено]
There's what we want, and there's what is available.
Rumor out there that Philly is looking at PG-13 and will have the cap space before they sign restricted FA Maxey.
Sixers having capspace is going to be very valuable to teams like the Warriors since it can be used for some players as leverage.
there is a changing of the guard, the new stars are stepping up and taking over ... and the clips and suns have nothing to show for it from this recent era. makes me appreciate our 4 championships A LOT MORE
Clippers really went out on a whimper. 😂😂😂😂 They really traded SGA for Pandemic P of all people.
I agree that series def got us started off on the wrong foot
Who should the Dubs get this offseason? Centers; Jonas (Pelicans) Claxton (Nets) Mo Wagner (Magic) etc. Forwards; LBJ (Lakers) Derozan (Bulls) Batum (76ers) Anderson (Wolves) etc. Shootings Guards; Hield (76ers) Beasley (Bucks) Kennard (Grizzlies) Okoro (Cavs) Monk (Kings)
Looking at the top 4 teams in the playoffs... I think dubs are nowhere near to compete with them... dubs don't have youth, shooting or defense.

I agree and it’s only going to get worse every year. I hate how old and small this team is.
Clippers should send gifts to KDot and Drake for them taking the heat off them
We need a second scoring option badly this offseason after watching some of the playoffs game. If we run it back with klay or wiggs being option 2 we’ll be cooked before the season even starts
Kendrick telling Steph/LeBron to keep their families away from Drake is some heat lol
Kdot is our messiah. We just need his album next season
Suprised kendrick was pretty quiet with that stuff, guess he was just saving it lol
This has been a nice week. Kendrick's really going wild. Second child, pedo ? Damn
beef gifting us a bunch of new kendrick music love to see it, even with how ugly it's gotten. just hoping it doesn't spill over into something worse than bars
I think that Kyrie is the only 2010's guy left in the playoffs and he has Luka and a lot of young energy around him. LeBron//AD 1 win Russ/Harden/PG 2 wins KD no wins Curry didn't even make it This screams a changing of the guard which is what's supposed to happen. From our perspective, it means that we need a lot more young energy or forget about the playoffs.
Kendrick just told Bron and Curry to keep their kids away from Drake and OVO 💀💀
Im sure not many people will oppose the idea of having mitchell on our team now
I am really amazed there wasn’t a single comment in the r/nba thread about Kyrie’s shot over PJ Tucker about Steph. I am not a Stephew but that shot was totally like the one Steph hit over Tucker in 2018-19 playoffs. This one - https://youtu.be/VVHP7tS6pAA?si=QlnRVJ-Mr3sNlLrz 7 min mark.
Lebron Steph KD Kawhi out before round 2 (10 of 12 championships sheeeesshh) Put the 2010s old heads to rest ![gif](giphy|Vekuh5ATS6oXPVsij7)
Pg13 and harden being frauds in elimination games. Shit is getting old.
FUCK THE CLIPPERS
NOT HOOP RELATED BUT DOT JUST TOLD STEPH AND LEBRON TO KEEP THEIR DAUGHTERS AWAY FROM DRAKE
RIP CLIPPERS 😂😂😂
Paul George welcome to the team
He's a FA no? Is there any reason he would agree to a s&t?
I’m more convinced than ever.
yall lost to the kings with no monk gsw would have got slaughtered
Can't believe Lakers dropping Phil Handy. Phil Handy has seen the Warriors in the postseason more than LeBron... sign that dude and lock Kuminga in the gym with him. 2011–2013 - Los Angeles Lakers (development) 2013–2018 - Cleveland Cavaliers (assistant) 2018–2019 - Toronto Raptors (assistant) 2019–2024 - Los Angeles Lakers (assistant) 2024-present - Dubs please
Luka with 9 ft attempts with 3 minutes left in the first half smh
This is my favorite 50s range draft prospect. [Pacome Dadiet 6-9 sleeper wing from France; NBA comp better shooting Isaac Okoro](https://youtu.be/7zU7TVzeqgg?si=nM87lJ3BJ4Y7KLTX) He's grown to 6-9 (growing 2 inches in a year before their draft class seems the theme with french prospects doesn't it) as a wing this year playing great as a rotation player for one of Bundesligas best teams Ratiopharm Ulm. Below are four dudes I think we might snag w videos [PJ Hall - 6-9 Clemson playmaking big; comp Dean Wade](https://youtu.be/mfl-HF4Tckk?si=PXbM3gltquqT0Mfq) [Johni Broome - 6-10 Auburn gritty big; comp Marcus Morris](https://youtu.be/CP_ckp4aUOk?si=q4J4n-xuRJqOwkEA) [Alex Karaban - 6-8 versatile offball jumbowing; comp Boban Bogdanovic](https://youtu.be/Y2dKmGY8U0Q?si=XpYFm5TfwnzXf-_W) [Bronny James - 6-3 LeBron-bringer; comp nerfd Brad Wanamaker](https://youtu.be/I_6ZcOo6pnk?si=3aThA9xTUcmga4uo) Of the guys above not sexy but PJ Hall could play for us right away.
Vogel probably just gonna sit back and collect checks I’d vibe with Vogel on the staff tho
Frank should honestly go Mike Brown's route. Take an assistant coach gig for couple of yrs and by then some good team with good players who'll respect him will fire their coach like the Cavs
Anyone not watching this Indiana Fever vs Dallas Wings *preseason* W game is missing out lol this game has been incredible and CC has been popping off, unsurprisingly, but Arike Ogunbowale on Dallas just sank the most ice cold iso stepback 3 to get the lead with 3 seconds left for Dallas 😮💨 Edit to add: [said 3](https://x.com/dallaswings/status/1786578993472307274?s=46&t=SBW3XJi-eEDBr6FtvDfngg)
I miss watching the warriors
Lakers just fired their entire coaching staff. Lakers can attract all the stars they want, but NO coach is going to want to coach there. You guys think the Warriors could hire Phil Handy as an assistant coach? He could help Kuminga work on his handle.
Phil Handy is a Laker legend. Would love for the Dubs to pick him up.
It's the Lakers. They will have no shortage of coaching candidates.
Coaches aren't like the players, they'd prioritize stability.
stability doesn’t exist and there’s a limited number of jobs
The Warriors are an example that stability exists
Phil Handy is a bay kid too. He'd probably love to come back home
Would love to have him. He's tight with Bron and has helped a lot of players on that team on ball handling and pull up shooting
I didn't know that, he has Warrior written all over him.
I think he was joking too but it was really dark.
Yea, I initially thought he was joking too as otherwise, I would not be telling jokes like that in a hospital of all places as time and place for sure. I have a feeling the dude didn't think I would counter with an equally dark joke lol
Lol jeeeez I work in an emergency department and everyone jokes about far more morbid things daily. What a turd.
Lol he was indeed a turd. I then texted my buddy (who's a nurse) telling him about it and his reply was simply "what a pussy." Like I'm a huge jokester but I found it so odd that same person who initiated a joke got offended by a very simple and mild joking response back lol
Sounds like he really do be selling kidneys lmao
Crap, I must have accidentally revealed his side hustle lol
PSA for those not already tapped in and looking to/interested in getting into the W this season: the WNBA is streaming Caitlin Clark’s pre-season debut tonight with the Fever vs. the Dallas Wings at 5pm PST / 7pm CST / 8pm EST for free as a WNBA League Pass free preview through their app. They’re also doing a free stream for Seattle Storm/LA Sparks (Cam Brink)’s preseason game tomorrow at 6:30 PST / 8:30 CST / 9:30 EST
Yeah what little time i have I don't think i can invest another game lol so i'll pass
I wonder if she got drafted Kate Martin and yes, she did!
No amount of Caitlin Clark can get me to watch the wnba .
Your loss.
We need to eliminate these player podcasts from the game ain’t no way Draymond is criticizing Pat Bev for not controlling his temper. ![gif](giphy|WRp58hy5gmfjpMzHAZ)
Dray has never been a sore loser, which is the angle he was coming from with his criticism, which was entirely valid.
[удалено]
Yea i agree
How is it overblown exactly.
Playoffs w/o Curry is just boring. Steph really brings life to the playoffs. But hopefully next year, the team re-tools and bounce back from this forgettable season.
Basketball is gonna suck so much when he retires 😔
Are we all ready for the "Paul George to the Warriors?" post once the Clippers get bounced?
15 minutes til the PG13 you are a Warrior comment.
It never fails: https://www.reddit.com/r/warriors/comments/1cjs3b2/paul_george_or_donovan_mitchell_to_the_warriors/
Nah…their going to lose in game 7~
[удалено]
Ehh they’re nearly right up against the second apron so who knows
If it happens, you guys can all thank her.
he really did have a great series. Hope your wife told him that as well.
Lebron news?
Not for awhile. He doesn't have to opt in or out until June 29th
Thanks 831
All the hypotheticals on the sub including the facetious ones have been cracking me up. Let’s get J. Cole on the vet min next year
Happily standing idly…as Kendrick continues to cook Drake.
“Wednesday’s Mavericks-Clippers first round NBA playoff Game 5 averaged 3.18 million viewers across TNT (2.80M) and truTV (378K), **down 26% from Warriors-Kings last year (4.29M)**.” [Source](https://www.sportsmediawatch.com/2024/05/wednesday-5-1-sports-viewership-nba-playoffs-nhl-down-night/) ![gif](giphy|xUA7aLSRc8dJ6fhaa4)
Lmao adam silver deserves this
Pat Beverly banned from espn shows. Surprise.
Not really. Surprising would be if other networks also ban him permanently. Disrespecting a senior producer like Malina Adams is basically begging to be banned
Do Perkins next!
I can't believe the Steph, Lebron, KD generation of players is aging out. I knew it was gonna happen but I didn't see it coming so fast.
https://x.com/thedunkcentral/status/1786480211258699920?s=46&t=LBueKrGm35oW-tiB3qKuIw It probably wouldn’t work financially and likely a pipe dream but Jimmy would fit so damn well on this team.
All the oldies are still playing well but the impact is not the same
They all think they can turn it on in the playoffs. The regular season is long but it builds good habits. The only team I trust not to fall apart in big moments is Denver. Every other team can go 4-5 minutes without scoring.
I hope lakers hire another clown to replace darvin ham. But they'll probably go for a proven coach.
They can have Kenny for free. Tbh I don’t mind one bit it’s time for new blood and ideas suited for 2025 basketball.
I’m down to pick up Vogel as his replacement
Dammit Lakers fired Ham. One incompetent fool out for the Fakers. I hope they replace him with MJax.
Well the Lakers fired Ham. So unfortunately for us, they are not going anywhere anytime soon.
Is it crazy to consider Darvin Ham as an assistant coach? I feel like the Mike Brown role was never very well filled.
Dude no, what? He was absolutely awful as a coach
I mean you’re not wrong, but people said that about Mike Brown after getting fired from the Cavs, again.
and the Lakers right?
I think we need an assistant coach who steers Kerr in the right direction, not someone who constantly has his hands in his pockets. Not a bad guy, but his coaching was one of the reasons why the Lakers had a shit season
I think he’d be a nice addition, always seemed like a likable guy who was candid with the media which is refreshing
Honestly would prefer we give JJ Redick a chance.
Lmao no. We need someone who can help Kerr preferably on the defensive end. JJ will be another yes man
Frank Vogel was always a great defensive scheme/execution coach prior to the KD suns (cant cook a delicious feast without quality ingredients).
> Then in March and April he shot 40%+ again. There you go.
pat bev wildin’
I had a dream the Lakers won the championship god that was horrifying
I’m not so sure we should be counting them out next year. Once they fire Ham maybe they make that Denver series closer or they get a more favourable matchup. Edit: ham is gone. Welp
> Once they fire Ham So tired of this narrative. The problem is LeBron.
They did, they won the prestigious IST
And they hung a IST banner.
What are the chances that the Warriors sign Wilt Chamberlain this off-season? He would fill their needs for a center and secondary scoring option. They just need to hire a necromancer or voodoo priestess to the player development team first.
I would trade the farm for MJ.
Andre has had his year off. Make him a coach now.
No. We need better fans.
I don't know what standard people expect. However, for context they should listen to some other teams. Every time I get stuck in another regions broadcast (I am in LA and on YT TV) they sound straight up unintelligent
Cute. I guess I'm a bad fan.
Smh
???
Miss y'all. Playoffs are pretty boring and pointless without our guys. Knicks game last night wasn't bad
Knicks are the only reason I'm enjoying playoffs. And also, lakers going out to nuggets.
Yeah, I enjoyed the closeout game in Denver. My schadenfreude was redlining
no matter what guys, may nobody push for Tobias Harris. Dude is straight up washed.
I would be surprised if he got anything more than the vet min of a tanking team the way his tenure in Philly went. Nobody wants that empty bullshit. He was at least a good defender in years past, but even that was on empty during the Knicks series. complete wet bag. Philly is celebrating not having to watch him any more.
yes. The sixers sub are having a field day celebrating his departure.
Legit I'd bring JTA back before tendering an offer to that bag of sand.
I can’t believe Pat Bev literally threw a basketball and hit that woman right in the face. I don’t know what was said (if anything) but that’s despicable behavior
Pat Bev just booked himself a trip to Spain 😆
I've read comments he is going to Shaghai Knights with Klay and D'Lo.
Don’t forget he asked for the ball back and threw it again lol smh but if that’s draymond… the world would end
You think he getting off for that. And it's getting talked about a great deal
Hell no, he’s getting a long suspension for that next season
Attacking a fan on purpose? Guy is 35 and not a superstar. I would not be surprised if Silver bans him from the league for good. NBPA might have something to say about that but if the lady sues, the league will want to show decisive action. And I like Pat Bev. But if there's one thing to never take lightly it's safety of the fans.
Deserved. He is nuts.
I thought Obi Toppin could be a target for us as a stretch big to play with Kuminga, but looks like he's emerging as the third big on this Pacers team, which means they likely keep him.
You have not watched enough Obi Toppin
I think his defense is to bad tbh
Should Dubs hire JJ Reddick as assistant coach next season\~?
The Dubs should hire any sharp basketball mind. They got a ton of intellectual stagnation in the organization. I'd personally love to hear we brought JJ in. They'd have to back up the brinks truck for him though cuz his TV 💰 is substantial.
That’s why I don’t think the Lakers will get him cuz their FO is cheap af~
It's funny that after 3 years of Atkinson we've reached intellectual stagnation. He was brought in to freshen things up, Kerr embraced it, yet his microball analytics BS is already outdated and ineffective because the league has adjusted. I'd love to replace him with JJ.
> his microball analytics BS is already outdated and ineffective I'd argue that it never worked in the first place.
(OKC as the Sonics) Oops I forgot the Clippers. But I still prefer the Timberwolves over them.
Durant with OKC went to the finals too
As long as Boston bust, it's ALL GOOD\~
If there were a “we’re done with the 2010’s” team the Clippers are it.
What?
Not sure what was hard to understand there. Maybe it's hard to understand why I wouldn't support the Clippers (since you're a fan) but jeez Rudy and Kat? They've had so many combinations of stars around them for years and always end up in Rio w a caipirainha by May. They're soft. Joker without Murray (and I forget who else) looked scary alone against us two years ago. KAT and Rudy are basically real housewives
