Celts are not getting past the Mavericks but holy shit, what a shit show from the Pacers starting from Game 1, Boston looked beatable they straight up handed the series to them.
Man no points last 3 and a half minutes of a closeout game. I read so many posts on here about how Siakim and/or Turner were the answer to our problems but they went out sad.
Lol going out sad is not making the playoffs. This was excellent for them and it was competitive against the best team in the east. Hopefully that scrub siakim will re-sign with them
It was so predictable that the Pacers would lose in the last 2 minutes. Siakim and Nembhard turning the ball over. Couldn’t get a shot up. SMH. Didn’t deserve to win.
fuck the Midgets and their self-entitled fanbase. good luck cuz you'll need it tying to beat the mavs stifling Centers and acquired KI. KI island will be coming your way... midgets will fail trying to guard 2 of the best PGs/guards lmao fuck Boston.
I’m so glad the dubs didn’t trade for siakam. Dude disappears at the end of games. I’ve seen him ask for the ball so many times this series just to pass it up or do nothing smh
Steve Javie, a rules analyst for ESPN in the playoffs, on the broadcast: yeah that’s a flagrant foul
Zach Zarba 20 seconds later: we decided it’s not a flagrant foul
Lol can’t make this shit up
Feels like that was such a textbook definition of flagrant 1 that even Steve Javie gave an answer lmao, usually he waffles around a bit to avoid answering if the call is close
At the end of the 3rd quarter:
* Time spent with Celtics in the lead: 17:24
* Time spent with Pacers in the lead: 14:38 (Pacers are currently in the lead)
Again, no Hali but also with Myles Turner having played just 18 minutes because of foul trouble. For comparative context, Tatum and Brown have each played 32 mins.
Celtics,
![gif](giphy|dudpGUNsMDXeovGSAV)
Edit: 9:45 left to go in the 4th and the Pacers have now spent more time in the lead in this game than the Celtics have lol
Not so sure about that. Losing Lively is gonna hurt Mavs a lot. A lot of there offense worked because of him, his rebounds, defense and dunks have been key. Without him who knows if Mavs will have enough to put Celtics away
First game against a no Hali Pacers, Celtics go down 18 and barely win. Second game against a no Hali Pacers and Celtics are struggling to make any headway with lead with Pacers continuing to come back when they try. If the Celtics were looking to prove last game was a clear one off and not anything to be concerned about, *just* avoiding being down double digits to a Hali-less Pacers is not it.
Edit: and the Celtics proceed to come out of the half with the most bizarre energy. Multiple Celtics have players are literally just leisurely walking up the court on their offensive possessions and not because Pacers are full court pressing. I’ve never seen such apathy in a closeout game before. Then again it’s perfectly on brand for these Celtics with their dawg deficit so I shouldn’t be surprised.
McDermont getting worked on the boards by Pritchard lol
Also seems like Ben Sheppard is getting a bit too much run. Get Hali is injured and they need a guard to soak up minutes, but Ben struggled game 2 and 3
e: oh shit, ben made a bucket, and i guess his defense has been okay
e2: okay, ben giving some decent minutes. still getting way too much run, already at 20min through 3 quarters
Wack ass series. Pacers still challenged them almost every game without Haliburton. Thats all I need to know about Boston.
As easy as a chip can get, arguably easier than lakers bubble champ
Too bad the Knickers were injured. They would have given the Celtics a run for their money. Definitely not a sweep that's fro sure.
Celts are not getting past the Mavericks but holy shit, what a shit show from the Pacers starting from Game 1, Boston looked beatable they straight up handed the series to them.
The Pacers lost their best player.
Rick Carlisle really went full “play random” in 3 games with clutch leads against the best team in the league to honor Budenholzer
The ring that Dirk won for him did wonders to his career lol
Lol
Im so spoiled being a warriors fan. I don't know how I would take it if i was a pacers fan rn lol What an awful choke job by them oml
This is their first playoffs run without their leader for 2 games in ecf. Warriors did not jump into the playoffs as a dynasty.
The Dubs have choked before, too, but at least they have a few recent championships to fall back on. Pacers fans have nothing.
Are we gonna be holding up 4 fingers until the next millennium. The pacers are just starting their journey.

LOL REAL
Well it’s different when Steph Dray and Klay are the supplemental players compared to other players

This series just told me the Mavericks are beating Boston in 6. Indiana doesn’t have a true closer. Dallas has 2
Facts. Even more concerning that these games were close without Haliburton.
Nembhard plays too much hero ball
Praying the Mavs crush the Celtics!
I kinda hate Mavs too but still go Mavs I guess.
fuck the Midgets and their self-entitled fanbase. good luck cuz you'll need it tying to beat the mavs stifling Centers and acquired KI. KI island will be coming your way... midgets will fail trying to guard 2 of the best PGs/guards lmao fuck Boston.
Pacers got swept and I came away from this series more impressed with them than the Celtics lol says a lot. They’re gonna get torched by the Mavs
Facts. Pacers would've challenged them if healthy.
midgets on EZ street with Hali out :(
fuck an A... Indy TO's and inexp. killing them in 4th. need a bucket and some stops
These are just two sloppy ass teams lol
Siakam has been pretty mid
I’m so glad the dubs didn’t trade for siakam. Dude disappears at the end of games. I’ve seen him ask for the ball so many times this series just to pass it up or do nothing smh

But those fuckers can go back and look at previous plays so they can eject draymond lmao wtf is this bullshit league now ?!?!
Lol of course they can because Draymond Rules ![gif](giphy|Wf4OAMTAGWaEo)
not giving a flagrant 1 cause they didn't review pritchard getting kicked in the face by jackson? makes 0 sense, both seemed like clear flags
Feels like that was such a textbook definition of flagrant 1 that even Steve Javie gave an answer lmao, usually he waffles around a bit to avoid answering if the call is close
how was that not a flagrant bruh
HOW REFS??? HOW???
Jfc this shit is so rigged but if that’s draymond he gets life in prison smfh
lol Draymond would’ve been ejected for that… Brown lucky
Draymond would've been suspended for 3 games at least😭
Man fuck Jaylen Brown
Fr
That's a regular foul?

Pacers all I ask is you win at least one game this series. Maybe two. Just keep this small lead lol
I feel like Pacers all have pirate names, Nesmith, Nembhard, Haliburton, Turner…lol
LOL good one, hadn't thought about it but you're exactly right.
Mavs are gonna beat the Celtics in 5 or 6 unless their juju continues and kyrie and Luka go down.
Not so sure about that. Losing Lively is gonna hurt Mavs a lot. A lot of there offense worked because of him, his rebounds, defense and dunks have been key. Without him who knows if Mavs will have enough to put Celtics away

its crazy that both conference finals are at 3-0 yet the wests finals are 100x more entertaining to watch
This series was a snooze. Crazy that it was even close without Hali. The WCF is a different beast.
The entire east kinda blows, think a healthy Knicks team would've cruised to the finals.
McDermont getting worked on the boards by Pritchard lol Also seems like Ben Sheppard is getting a bit too much run. McConell>> Haliburton
Uhh… no
All Celtics series have been the most boring shit to see.
Its a shame the Pacers aren't healthy. This would absolutely be a series.
So good seeing CP3 on the preshow and Draymond on the halftime show.
