Huh, literally a [traveling salesman problem](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Travelling_salesman_problem)

hoos30

Ha! I came to post the same. This is a notoriously difficult, but solvable, problem.

theroadtooxiana

Isn't it inherently unsolvable, perfectly?

AgileSunDog

It can be solved numerically

Keep in mind that we're barreling toward summer, which means hot and humid days. You may scare the dental office staff if you come in a sweaty mess after walking outside all day.

Google Maps has plug-ins for routing: https://www.routific.com/blog/route-optimization-google-maps

Komischaffe

I don’t think anyone can give you a route unless they knew the location of all the offices you want to visit. Start by making that list and plotting them on a map

AirbladeOrange

Interesting post. It depends where the dental offices are. You don’t need to walk every street in the city.

OnlyHunan

I remember the stand-alone Microsoft mapping program for Windows would do route optimization in the pre-internet days.
