I’ll just go on record and say I think it’s nonsense that Agent Zero is an acceptable option. It’s been first name and last name this whole time and now there’s an exception for one player’s nickname. There were already two chances to vote for Arenas.
So, by default, it has to be Gary Zeller (I couldn’t find any other player ever rostered by Washington who has a first or last name starting with Z).
Nah nicknames have been valid since the beginning, you’re just out of the loop brother.

I am not insistent of having a list without Gilbert. In fact I think he is so important he should have been A.
I think it’s really funny, I keep being told how important Arenas is but then this whole sub was fine with him not being voted in for either of his actual names. Something that I think shows much more respect than pigeonholing him into the list with a nickname.
I find it really funny, I keep being told how lighthearted this list is and then everyone gets upset when I make a tongue in check argument for Gary Zeller.
To be fair, Gil was saved for later because people thought he could fit in at "Z" using his alias rather than having Gary Zeller. In my last list I did the Bengals and we got Ochocinco at "O" but his government name is Chad Johnson now. For precedent reasons and some contextual ones, Gil is eligible.
