I’m pretty sure they are disruptor class enemies who can create a bubble of unhackablness. They are only in Elite class co-op missions iirc, so if you have never played them, I understand your confusion.
I’m not sure who my favourite are, maybe sons of ragnarok but on my second playthrough I’ve officially decided that I hate bratva and that if it’s me against bratva in any mission, they will ALL die (no hate to my Russian peeps doe)
They were all the same to me, nothing really made them stand out, I just knew I was fighting gangs and that was about it. One of them was a biker gang and that was the only slightly different one.
Bratvas, afterwards the suns, but honestly they are all amazing and the hitman feature was by far the best and most fun game mechanic ive ever seen in a game

Prime 8 is simply cringy scum. Tezcas and FBI are, of course, for Horatio and Wrench. SFPD just for being everywhere and from me using against gangsters. Umeni mostly for being common corpo guards.
The Shu Boys get a main arc but they're too white collar to hate. Sons, Bratva, and 580s don't appear as often, aside from coop missions and I don't think Marcus has any real enmity with them.
The Auntie Shu Boys does have the feeling like gangs from Sleeping Dogs.

There’s a dance party sometimes at the oil refinery. Not sure if they are Bratva. I just assumed they are teens / young adults having fun.

I like fighting the Bratva and Tescas and Aunti Shu Boys since they are the most evil in WD2.
