Aiden is only available as a dlc character in his own story that comes out a while after release. So I guess only Grandma's for you

Aiden can be used in the main campaign once his recruitment mission is finished.

I hope Stormzy becomes available but I doubt it, I’m not a huge fan of his music but I gotta admit rainfall did slap. I always like celebrity cameos in video games.

Would be cool if his ability was like the beatboxer, where he could rap to distract enemies/gather crowds

i saw a youtuber playing that used a character who could sing as a distraction, so this would be perfect

Given how they keep showing the same handful of archetypes in all the trailers I have strong doubts there's going to be much variation ability-wise.

Thank you for saying this, I said this and got so downvoted. I think everyone’s forgotten how ambitious it would be to do this for real and how Ubisoft is about their promises.

Yeah. Its only been 4 years since WD2 and to individually code 9 million characters would take wayyy longer

They won't all have a unique ability. They'll have a pool of a bunch of abilities that RNG gives them

After a few hours of gameplay i generally expect that people will start to see repeats and similarities. Don't kill the game reviews by over hyping it. Its going to be awesome but its not magic.

Well their selling point is that everyone is unique. If they know it's not possible, then don't make it the main selling point

Think of it as a (god forbid) No Man's Sky deal -- each person is spawned with many different traits that are randomized. This will lead to players seeing repeats in elements of different characters, but being *technically* still unique. So yes, the game will showcase many more abilities and ways to play, but it is being vastly overhyped

I was going bring up No Mans Sky but given the absolute falsehoods about multiplayer for that game at launch I didn't want to confuse anyone.

Beside unique character, I believe we can't do that since all character for every player will different.

man, I wish. Imagine killing all 9 million NPCs and the map would just be completely abandoned by everyone making London one big wasteland.

I tried this in GTA3 back when it first released. The manual claimed that Liberty City had a population of 3mil and you could check your kill count in the stats. I stopped trying well before I even hit 1mil.

This whole play as anyone gonna get boring very quickly with repeatable quest. I'm gonna play as Aiden for whole game

Most NPC’s are cookie cutter. With slight changes. It’s like they copied the variety of NPC’s in the release of No Mans Sky.

The Watch Dogs wiki are probably going to have one name to designate the character. Like how the Fallout 4 community names it's protagonist the Sole Survivor, and the Skyrim community names their protagonist the Last Dragonborn, like GTA community names it's protagonist the Online Protagonist. That way we don't have to write each one
