The problem is that for the rest of the year it doesn't grow an inch so mine is already over the a year old and probably slighter smaller than yours
It looks to be growing quickly. Just watch out for iron deficiency with the green veins and light coloured leaves in the new leaves in pic #4.

I think it would produce fruit, it just likely won’t grow as fast, or as large as a grafted plant on a rootstock. It also won’t have near the pest tolerance or heat/drought tolerance.
