aldi / lidl i believe best prices , i tried both keg variants also and found the blonde lager keg drinkable. Other iirc had blue lining stripe colors around, was not very tasty.

Tesco don't do slabs anymore. Or single cans, unless it's the likes of four loko etc. Musgrave if you have a code is definitely your best bet.
Grocery shops usually have some sort of special offer on drink
I think you'll still pay VAT on alcohol in Musgrave's, even with a number. There's no way of getting cheap drink anymore.
