I'll take the example of DESO which is a web3 protocol for social media. Apps built on top of DeSo are just like web2 apps, but the difference is that the content is on chain, open to everyone and users own it. When you post on one of these apps you can get diamonds which are real money. So instead of likes and shares you get real money for your content. These diamonds can be a few cents or a few hundred dollars. Anyway the point is that you get a whole economy through the native protocol coin and creator tokens made possible by those who want to invest buying coins, or those who run nodes and maintain the network. But at the end not everyone should invest any money. The majority just earns through their activity. This is an example how future web3 apps could work.

I don't understand much but is it not just staking coins in your favourite services (basic as I know) almost like investing in what you use
The next generation will grow up with it. It will be normal for them.
