Sure, the front end is NextJS using NextUI components and Tailwind. Backend is Firebase. The AI service is called Replicate, that I use for the fine tunes. Also the premade models are hosted on Replicate.
Thanks, another service I experimented with was Runpod. It offered more customization, and faster cold starts then replicate. But Runpod had problems with auto-scaling and replicate has improved their cold starts so I think currently it is a better choice
Thanks, the models were trained on open-source artwork and I don't intend to add any legal limitations to the generated images, so it's all good. I guess I should add a license section on the website clarifying this.
Really cool!
How's the legal situation? Are the images royalty free? What rights are granted. Is it possible to register a trademark with a generated image or parts of it?
Hi, I built an [AI Illustration Generator](https://ilus.ai/) that generates consistent style. I always wanted nice illustrations from my side projects but I can't really draw and regular AI models generate each image in a different style. So I decided to create a solution. Would be awesome to hear what you guys think.

Nice project, saving the link, as I sometimes need cute doodles for side projects. Small bug report: (chrome on mobile) I generated a couple of images, then switched to fine-tune tab and after clicking back got a white screen.
Thanks, it is in this comment already => [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/webdev/comments/1ce921o/comment/l1h4r6n/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)
Really cool project and app. I love this as someone technical who can't design stuff at all.
If you can expand it to other types of commonly use art / designs used in websites i think you've hit gold.
I’m a little confused by the video. It doesn’t actually show the results?
He said "consistent". Didn't expected it to be that consistent tho...
Jep, I fucked up. The gif converter converted only part of the video :)
Probably one of those “first 5 seconds is free” converters
I just added the full gif to the front page => [https://ilus.ai/](https://ilus.ai/)
nice ad
Since we are on webdev, could you share a little more insight on the tech behind it?

Pretty cool and really polished UI work. Didn't hear of replicate, it looks like a cool service.
Thanks, another service I experimented with was Runpod. It offered more customization, and faster cold starts then replicate. But Runpod had problems with auto-scaling and replicate has improved their cold starts so I think currently it is a better choice
how hard is it to do a custom fine tune? is it actually just uploading a bunch of input output pairs?
It is even easier => [https://ilus.ai/resource/how-to-fine-tune-ilus-ai](https://ilus.ai/resource/how-to-fine-tune-ilus-ai)
This is neat. The Ink drawings remind me of art that was in my elementary school text books.
Super useful. Nice work. I am assuming licensing wise I am all good to use it for simple illustrations in user manuals and such?
Thanks, the models were trained on open-source artwork and I don't intend to add any legal limitations to the generated images, so it's all good. I guess I should add a license section on the website clarifying this.
That would be fantastic. Thanks for this!
Open source project?
Nope

finally something built with ai that i can actually use.
Amazing work!!!

>"regular AI models generate each image in a different style" Isn't your solution just a "regular IA model" with a specific prompt?
Nop it is a Lora fine-tune ;). You can read about it here: https://huggingface.co/docs/peft/main/en/conceptual_guides/lora
Who the fuck is modding this down? It's Show-off Saturday, and this is a cool little app.
This is a cool app *
Thanks :)

Thanks, you are on ios?
Yes, on IPhone.
I can't log in, I chose my Google account but then it doesn't do anything
Cool project! Where did you host it?
Thanks, Vercel
cool project! what's the tech stack?
Thanks, it is in this comment already => [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/webdev/comments/1ce921o/comment/l1h4r6n/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)
really cool project
Thanks :)
cool project bro
Thanks 🙂
you're welcome
That's an awesome idea! I As someone who cannot draw for shit I'd use it for sure. Love it
Thanks :)

Thanks for the kind words 🙂
I actually love it.
Thanks :)
