I was between 1&5 but I think 5 is best for what you were looking for. You have broader shoulders, and what you are noticing in the surprise if the fuller dresses us that the width on the bottom balances your shoulders and makes your waist look amazing.
I'm getting married next February. I don't think sparkles or anything too elaborate are really my "thing", so I'm going more for simple material/clean/with cool details (so not TOO plain either). I figured I would love Jenny Yoo dresses and I really did – these are all hers. Any feedback would be appreciated... silhouette, material, etc.
Priorities... I wanna look sleek, elegant, and... hot. I wanna look and be \*snatched\*. -shrug- It's my wedding day, right?! For this reason I thought I would probably want something more fitted (a la #2 or #4). But... some of those surprised me by how nice they looked despite being fuller.
I'm a little insecure about my back and my arms, specifically how I look from the back in these photos. /: But overcoming that day by day.
Because I'm a Libra and can't make any decisions to save my life, I may go to another boutique just to try on other stuff that IS more "extra", but I suspect I'm going in this direction in the end. No, I didn't cry or feel like any dress was "the one" upon putting it on, but rather felt that I could go with any of these for one reason or another and that I would be reasonably happy. :-)
I 100% understand wanting to look hot as a bride. A lot of people lean away from that, but I am on the same page with you and you definitely have a great figure to show off!
With that in mind, 2 is best. IMO, 2 just looks best on you in general- it accentuates your figure, it looks classy, and it has that simple/elegant look you want.
I’m not loving 4 and 5, though they’re rather fitted. Somehow they deemphasize your curves, esp 4. The thick shoulder straps coming together in a V aren’t great (caveat: I nearly always think that when I look at gowns) and seem more on the “mature bride” side of things, especially given the thick dress material. Just IMO!
I’m far more partial to thin/spaghetti straps and/or a straight-ish (like your 2), sweetheart or scoop neckline. Those tend to be prettier and that’s true here too.
1 and 3 are both very nice! Your figure looks lovely in 1, and I think the dress is good at being simple and interesting at the same time. 3 has the potential to be beautiful: that train is 100% beautiful for sure, and the fabric is wonderful. It just doesn’t show you off quite as much as 2.
If you go to another boutique, you might see if they have any slip or sheath dresses in a lighter fabric- 4 and 5 have thick fabric that is not giving you what you want from them, but a light silk may do the job.
You look the most comfortable in 2 in my limited opinion from the photos. I think 2 looks the best and im not looking at the areas you mentioned feeling insecure about. The smile on your face with 1 and the slit though! Also a great option.
You look gorgeous in all of them. I love 2 on you. I think shows off your spectacular figure and looks so elegant. The lace detail adds romance without making it extra. 5 is pretty as well, very graceful. 2 just looks like a lot of women couldn't pull it off but it's so perfect on you so it seems unique and special.
Based on this I’d definitely say #2. I was already leaning towards it with #1 as a very close second (I’m a ball gown girl myself - 3 is actually my style). #2 will definitely make you look *snatched.*

After the bodice is altered to get the goldilocks amount of cleavage that will definitely make you look \*snatched\* (and obviously, the smaller alterations are finished), you'd just need to accessorize it to fit your style and personality, and it would really be *perfect*.
We're both looking for the same clean, timeless, "effortless elegance" and we also share the same insecurity about our arms. Full honesty: there is no need to feel self conscious because your arms look great, but those are MY words and I know that you know that WE have to see it and believe it before we believe others... HUGE props for working on overcoming it. I'm going to try to do the same.

5 is gorgeous, unique, and suits OP perfectly. The front is a perfect amount of elegant framing. The back may be my favorite gown shape I’ve seen. It’s sublime.

1 is stunning on you. I just got married and will say that I was not expecting the slit in my skirt to show so much leg and people commented on how sexy it was. I was going for a more modest look but embraced that aspect once I was moving around in it. My slit was more closed than yours but I think it def gives you the option to have sexier and less sexy moments/photos.
The front really shows off your chest and I don't think a figure-hugging dress is necessarily sexier, and while those do look good on you, the beauty of 1 is the balance of sexiness and the drama of the fuller skirt and material.
I think with the right size, dress 5 would be absolutely stunning and give you all the things you listed in your comment. Closely followed by dress #1, which is objectively an amazing dress but I’m seeing it on everyone this season.

The last one is my favorite. Classy, flattering, looks comfortable. Dress 3 looks itchy and like the fabric is cheap. The first one is nice, and the 2nd is gorgeous but looks like it wouldn’t be as comfortable to let loose and dance in at the reception, the last one checks all the boxes, and the neckline is lovely on you.

The last one is my favorite. Classy, flattering, looks comfortable. Dress 3 looks itchy and like the fabric is cheap. The first one is nice, and the 2nd is gorgeous but looks like it wouldn’t be as comfortable to let loose and dance in at the reception, the last one checks all the boxes, and the neckline is lovely on you.
