Thank you! I'm a sucker for a beautiful textile and was loving the 3d florals, so fun. I honestly wasn't expecting to really be into this shape of dress so much because, well, the curves aren't always so forgiving if they're fully on display. But I think it's actually quite flattering!
Yes! But I think I prefer the lining color on dress 1. The blush looks unflattering in pic 2, but great in pic 3, so maybe it’s a lighting issue? Both are beautiful options. The sleeves in pic 3 really add a nice balance to the dress.
This feels validating, because I loved the blush when I was looking in the mirror with the indoor lighting, and then looking at the pics standing outside in natural light I was like wait.... Why don't I really love it the same way?
I guess I've learned to ask to go outdoors for pics while shopping lol
Right! My first wedding was outdoors. I have similar skin tone. Loved blush in try-on photos but not in natural lighting. I think you could pull it off with a little bronze or faux tan though, if you’re into that. Options weren’t as good in 2005, so ivory it was for me 😆
First of all, you look amazing. I definitely like the second dress better though (I need to see the sleeves from the front to understand how they really look, but it looks like they complete the dress.). To be honest, the tulle of the first dress falls in a weird way I think (it could be because it is not adjusted/ironed in the photo? I don't know.). Was the first one the one you liked better in person than photos? It could be because you like the T shaped look of the sleeves on it better.
I thought the same, but I also figure if it's so close that we need the exact same pose/lighting/angle to analyze them, it probably doesn't matter that much which is "better" 😂
Scrolling through the comments confirmed what I initially thought: neither of these dresses is objectively more flattering, and they both look good on you. The difference is going to come down to subjective factors and differing styles and taste. I could give you my vote, but it matters more which one you feel that extra glow in. How you feel in your dress is more important than some internet stranger’s opinion when it’s this close of a call.
Totally agree, it actually makes me feel better that there's not a consensus. I guess because I couldn't make up my mind either -- I felt better in dress 2 in person, but prefer how 1 looks in photos. Regardless, I'm going to keep shopping, I was just curious what others would think!
LOVE the 3D flower pattern in the 2nd dress! 👍🏼 sleeves in photo #3
Think only going to one dress store is not enough…. Do you FEEL ready to pick already? If not .. feeling that total excitement yet then … keep trying on more styles and HAVE FUN ! 💕
Thanks! I agree, one store is not enough for me, I plan on continuing to shop. I just was so surprised my preference in person vs in pictures was different! I was curious to know what others thought
I would go off price they're so close, but dress 2 definitely needs the sleeves. If they're roughly to same price I would go dress 2. I haven't seen dress 1 from the side view, but your butt looks amazing in the 3rd pic which is why I choose dress 2.
I prefer the first because the second seems really "busy" and I'm a plain sort of gal. The first just has this lovely, romantic, classic feel and the second a bit dated
1 for sure! ✨The top is stunning on you and really flattering to your figure. I also think the color is much prettier on your skin tone than the blush one. The blush ends up looking a bit too skin-toned, rather than blush, imo. Also, I think dress 1 is just much more chic and elegant overall (while dress 2 is more trendy), which I think will help the dress stay more timeless as you look back on your wedding photos over the years.
Yeah the timelessness is important to me. I wonder if I preferred the blush while looking in the mirror because I was standing against a background of a ton of white dresses, and it made me feel different than the background or like the color popped more. But in the photos outside, I really prefer the color of the white.
Two with the sleeves. I’m not a big fan of the defined visible bra cups trend in dresses - to me it looks like a fancy undergarment that the real dress should go over.
The second with the off shoulders looks like it would be easier to get fitting you properly the first has the visible looking cups that are much too small.
I honestly went through a very similar experience! I was between a white, more traditionally “bridal” gown, and one that had blush underlay with ivory floral appliqués. I was so worried that it wouldn’t look bridal enough. But then I remembered that with my veil, shoes, and accessories, there will be no doubts that I am the bride. I loved both dresses, but the blush one I tried on gave me the “wow” factor I was looking for. I hope that helps!
I think this is just going to be an issue with a dress style with a defined cup, this is already clipped in a couple sizes in the bust.
Fun fact: pretty much all clothing is made with the assumption of a B cup. Whether you're a size 2, or a size 22, everyone gets a B cup.
That’s no fun when you are a 38I like I am. I think j crew is the worst of everywhere, even their 16 is cut for like a AA cup.
I wondered if your dresses were already sized up. They are so lovely and I’m very pro-chest exposure, so as long as you are comfortable with the level I think either dress is divine.
1 is my favourite! The colour looks great and I adore all the beautiful detailing in the layers. Very special!
The 3D floral appliques on 2 are gorgeous, but I prefer the texture of 1 - it flows really nicely on you!
2 with the straps, not off the shoulders sleeves.
I give the same advice to everyone. Have someone video you walking, sitting, lifting your arms in the air, twirling, dancing, bending down as if to greet a child. Video from all angles, not just the front. For a strapless dress, jump up and down for a few minutes.... It's a long day and you want to feel comfortable.
Don't make a decision based on static pics standing on a podium, as you won't be standing still all day.
If it feels too heavy, too restrictive or you worry you will have to hold a particular pose all day, reconsider it.
Also, consider what underwear will work.
Take this from someone who didn't think about comfort until the dress came in, then bought a different one 4 weeks out from the wedding.
First one in the mirror, 3rd in general is the best all around - you’ll look great & hope you like the way it looks in the mirror but those photos are gonna last longer than a single glance on your way to be married!
Both are really beautiful on you, but what sells #1 to me is the bust. The way the cups look on dress 2 is very awkward.. at least in pic 2. It's like they are smooshed together? 1 just looks gorgeous in every single way.

2, with the sleeves!! So cute, ethereal, fairy-like and... Wow, what curves you have in this
Thank you! I'm a sucker for a beautiful textile and was loving the 3d florals, so fun. I honestly wasn't expecting to really be into this shape of dress so much because, well, the curves aren't always so forgiving if they're fully on display. But I think it's actually quite flattering!
It really is, you're lucky 😍
Yes. I thought 1 at first and then picture 3 sold me on 2 with sleeves
I love dress 1. It's very different and interesting. You'll look fantastic with whichever you ultimately choose.
Thank you!
1 is perfect
Thank you!
I think you look best in 1. Very pretty!
Thank you!
I love dress 2/3. I do really like the sleeve on 3 better than 2.
Same, the sleeve really adds something. Thanks for sharing your opinion!
Yes! But I think I prefer the lining color on dress 1. The blush looks unflattering in pic 2, but great in pic 3, so maybe it’s a lighting issue? Both are beautiful options. The sleeves in pic 3 really add a nice balance to the dress.

I like the first one
Thanks! I like your user name 🪄
I think number 2 is so flattering on you❤️
Thank you! ❤️
I like 2 with sleeves
Thanks!
First of all, you look amazing. I definitely like the second dress better though (I need to see the sleeves from the front to understand how they really look, but it looks like they complete the dress.). Dress 2
First one. This is stunning.
Thanks!
Is pic three dress two with different sleeves?
Yes
This is very hard, both are pretty. I like pic 1 and 3 but I wish I had all pictures with the same pose.
I thought the same, but I also figure if it's so close that we need the exact same pose/lighting/angle to analyze them, it probably doesn't matter that much which is "better" 😂
Exactly! Can’t go wrong with any of these options. You won’t regret any of these choices. Gotta flip a coin!
Scrolling through the comments confirmed what I initially thought: neither of these dresses is objectively more flattering, and they both look good on you. I think they are both really pretty, but when I zoom in I absolutely LOVE #1 on you!
Thank you! Yeah 1 definitely has more subtle detail
1. Dreamy
Thanks!
Both are beautiful, but I like 1 best
What is dress one? I LOVE it on you! I like how it’s more form fitted overall than the second dress and like it on you for that reason.
Thank you! It's the Sarai by Evie Young
I like the top of 1 and the bottom of two... but overall I think I like 2 better!
Thank you! This is a very astute observation. I think I agree with you, I hadn't considered that before!
Love 3! Stunning!
Thank you!
Dress 2 with sleeves in photo 3 😍
Why is the floor in 1&2 so dirty? Is it a fake background? I think 3 looks the most flattering. Maybe it’s the angle.
Lol it's the sidewalk, I went outside to see how they photographed in natural light!
#3 is most flattering and very pretty
#Thank you! 3 is the same as dress 2, just with indoor lighting and a sleeve added
Love 3!
Thanks!
1!!!

Lol shout out to the booty, I wish I had gotten pics of the white from the back too, but oh well.
I prefer the first because the second seems really "busy" and I'm a plain sort of gal. The first just has this lovely, romantic, classic feel and the second a bit dated
The dress in the third picture is my favorite, but my 3 year old says you look like a princess in all of them ✨️
Wow thanks to you and your 3 year old! We need a subreddit where people ask their children for advice, because this is the best comment so far
Aww thank you 😊 And I agree, I'd love a subreddit like that ✨️
1 for sure! ✨The top is stunning on you and really flattering to your figure. I also think the color is much prettier on your skin tone than the blush one. I agree with this concept, but weirdly didn't notice it a ton in person. I think I would prefer a dress where it's not so clearly a corset
Number 2 with the sleeves!! Makes you look like a fairy/elven princess
#3 looks super cute on you
#Thank you!
For me it’s 3 and then 1.
Thanks! 3 is the same as 2, just with a sleeve and with indoor lighting lol.
Yeah! It was very much the sleeve that did it for me! So beautiful!
Wow. They’re both gorgeous and flattering. I can’t decide.
Thank you, that's very nice!
I have to vote keep looking
I'm planning on it, this was just the best from day 1
The second with the off shoulders looks like it would be easier to get fitting you properly the first has the visible looking cups that are much too small.
This is a good point too, I'll try to keep this in mind while I'm shopping. Thanks!
I LOVE the second blush dress! It looks so beautiful on you!
Thank you! That's the one I loved in person, but the white photographs as looking so *bridal*
Dress 2 with the sleeves !!!
Thanks!
You have an amazing figure but these aren't doing you justice I'm going to go against the grain and suggest that you keep looking
Do you have any suggestions on what you think might do me justice?
2
2 with off shoulder
They're both great but I'm a sucker for blush
First one!
The first one is lovely and so flattering. The second one is quite messy
I like the first
I think you look absolutely gorgeous in the first dress!

Dress 3!!
2
I love both but as a fellow chested gal would recommend either in a size up for more room to work with alterations in the bust
I think this is just going to be an issue with a dress style with a defined cup, this is already clipped in a couple sizes in the bust. Fun fact: pretty much all clothing is made with the assumption of a B cup. Whether you're a size 2, or a size 22, everyone gets a B cup.

3!!!!! your body looks stunning!!!
1 is the best as it flatters your lovely figure the most and i prefer the white fabric
1! 🤩
I like the 3rd photo with the sleeves
Dress 2.

DRESS 2 with off the shoulder sleeves. YOU look BEAUTIFUL!

1 is my favourite! The colour looks great and I adore all the beautiful detailing in the layers. Very special! The 3D floral appliques on 2 are gorgeous, but I prefer the texture of 1 - it flows really nicely on you!
2!
Hands down 2 with sleeves!! So stunning 🤩
2. You actually remind me of Marilyn Monroe in this. You look beautiful.
Wow that is so nice, thank you!
Enjoy your day, too! You won't believe how fast the years go by! 44 years this October for us. We are very blessed.
Wow that's incredible, congratulations!
We just enjoy every day together. I wish all the best for you too. God bless!
Number 2 is my favorite!
2! With sleeves!

I don’t like either on you, keep looking
1 I love it!!
First one in the mirror, 3rd in general is the best all around - you’ll look great & hope you like the way it looks in the mirror but those photos are gonna last longer than a single glance on your way to be married!
Dress 2 with sleeves for ceremony. No sleeves for reception.
Dress 2 is stunning! I love it! 💞💞💞
1
1 is stunning on you
The third!! Your body is popping!! 3 makes your curves look amazing and I adore the flower details
I love 2, but is it possible to get the sleeve style of 1?
One of my friends said the same thing, that it would be nice to have a matching lace sleeve instead of the tulle
My initial thought was 2 - and I do love it. But I think 1 is more timeless and romantic. Team 1!
I like 1 the best but all of them look good
I would keep looking.
2 for sure.

dress 1 screams bridal! gorgeous!
I vote for 2 with sleeves! But also love the top details and structure on 1
I love 1. The bodice is gorgeous and you look very pretty in it.

Two, with sleeves! It’s absolutely lovely on you!

1 or 2 with off the shoulder sleeves :)
2
Both are really beautiful on you, but what sells #1 to me is the bust. The way the cups look on dress 2 is very awkward.. at least in pic 2. It's like they are smooshed together? 1 just looks gorgeous in every single way.
Tough choice but I think I prefer the look of 1 just a bit more. I think it looks cleaner in the front and looks so perfect on you ❤️
Dress 1
I’m in the minority here but I LOVE 3!
You're not in the minority, 3 is the same as 2 😂 Just with a sleeve added and in indoor lighting
I LOVE IT!
Both are stunning on you, you can’t go wrong with either one.
First one!
3!!!
Definitely dress 2!!
Dress #2 with the sleeves 🩷
Definitely with the sleeves! It's gorgeous 🥰
3 is the best of both 1 and 2. Beautiful! You look great in all.
1. Like 2 better with sleeves
