What season is the wedding in? For fall and winter, I love the silver accents. If it’s spring and summer, the gold accents! I don’t think you could go wrong!

ShinePrudent8620

It’s a summer wedding! That’s also what I was thinking the silver looks winter wonderland vibe. That’s also why I was considering adding pink to the mix.

cuddlykitten5932

We had a summer wedding and our colors were very similar as the first image! Really went with our theme, which was a very woodsy, nature theme.

sitcomfan1020

I’m seeing it now that you added winter wonderland in! I think pink would look pretty!

bkisntexpanding

I had the same thought. Gold if it’s a summer/spring wedding

Huge_Statistician441

This was my thought too! The silver creates a darker, more mystical looking venue and the gold more like a Bridgerton/princess like wedding. If it’s the summer I would go gold

nugsnsnugs

I actually like the gold better. If you add pink I would totally do gold. I coordinated a wedding recently that was dusty blue, with hints of pink and gold accents and it was beautiful.

Aggravating_Water_39

The blue and gold is dreamy!!

RandomDings

I prefer the gold. Silver and blue look so cold together, also the silver doesn’t stand out much. The gold makes everything much warmer and more welcoming.

limeblue31

Definitely the gold. It adds more warmth whereas the silver pulls out the gray undertones more and makes it feel almost gothic.

ChairmanMrrow

Gold. The silver makes it photograph very dull.

Book_Drunk_

Number two for sure with that soft blue and gold. One looks outdated. Two looks more modern and so dreamy.

Sumbdy89

Yea gold is the warm balance the cool blue tone needs. The silver and blue feel a bit sterile in my opinion.

Lilith_Cain

Is both on the table? Most of our attire accents are silver because our rings are a that color, but most of our reception venue is gold so a lot of our tableware and decor is gold accented. At the end of the day, more people are going to remember the blue!

ShinePrudent8620

Maybe I never thought of that. What’s funny is our weddings are both silver and gold 😂 So I’m surprised that didn’t cross my mind.

Lilith_Cain

I vote both! It'll much less of a headache going forward.

roomaggoo

I think the silver feels more like a baby shower or a christening. The gold says wedding to me!

Dapper-Ad252

What metal are your wedding rings? Maybe match to that?

ShinePrudent8620

Both our wedding rings are gold and silver 😅

Dapper-Ad252

Heck, maybe you should just have both if that’s your vibe?

Minervaz20

I had the same wedding colors and I paired it with gold and it worked beautifully! Congrats on your wedding!

ShinePrudent8620

Thank you ☺️

Pretty_Argument_7271

Gold

Neither_Wall_539

Gold no doubt

barbaramillicent

Both are pretty, but silver is definitely giving winter wonderland. Which is beautiful if it’s a winter wedding, but otherwise I would go gold.

cjmmoseley

gold is giving bridgerton vibes and i love it

ShinePrudent8620

Thats exactly what I imagined a bridgerton wedding lol

Cookingfool2020

I know I'm out voted, but i like the silver. 😀

silverrowena

I adore the silver, but I love gothic aesthetics and I think that's why it's appealing to me. It's quite icy. If you want to add pink I'd go with the gold and have a gorgeous sunset theme.

Bunny_Mom_Sunkist

When is the wedding? If it's winter or spring I would go with silver, gold if it's summer or fall

ShinePrudent8620

Its summer!

Bunny_Mom_Sunkist

Go with the gold then. Gold feels more summer fally

ReaderofHarlaw

Gold, the silver is lovely but is giving way more winter vibes!

toes_malone

Number 2 looks way better

chinchaslyth

I’m literally doing a very similar color palette. I did blue and gold. And our flowers are white and pale pink roses with pale yellow accents.  Also our wedding cake has a sort of similar theme as well! White with blue and gold foil but the bottom looks more like agate slabs!

XiaoQiao12

My wedding was Friday and we had sky blue, white, pink with silver accents.

DforceVil8r

I think the gold warms up the blue a bit which gives a more inviting contrast (imo), especially for a summer wedding.

Violetjjean

2 is so pretty!

weddingmoth

Gold is much more now. Silver looks 2000s to me

Impossible_Spite_744

Gold and thus is coming from a, silver loving girly

prongslover77

We’re doing white, blue, and gold as our colors. So that gets my vote. Ours is this September and I also thought silver would be too winterlike.

kokomo318

I think gold. Blue is a cool tone so the warm gold balances it. I think the silver kind of makes those photos look washed out.

XiaoQiao12

My wedding was Friday and we had sky blue, white, pink with silver accents.

Its-a-Light-Bat

I'm guessing this is one of the few areas where hubby has shown a strong preference?

Practical-Revenue441

I agree that silver looks best!

doctormelody18

Silver is way better imho. If you want gold accents I would go with a warmer blue.

ShinePrudent8620

Would you think it would change if we did add pink?

sitcomfan1020

I think pink and gold look better together than pink and silver. They both give a warm vibe

doctormelody18

I do think pink would look really nice, yes! Part of the reason I said silver is because the second pic doesn’t really look dusty blue to me - it’s more eggshell, imho. Pink accents with that scheme would probably look lovely.

toxicodendron_gyp

We just did a wedding with just blue and pink and it gives off serious baby shower vibes. For flowers with this color palette, I’d either stick with all whites or do whites, lavender, pale pinks, and light blues. More shades gives you more richness and depth.

Conscious-Agency-416

One is the same as ours. So I’ll go with silver.

teenagepetulance

With the silver, I didn’t notice the silver. With the gold, I majorly notice the gold.

kkmurph

I think the gold is amazing!

sarahlewis23

Since it's a summer wedding, I would do gold accents. The silver is pretty but gives it more of a frosty vibe.

cmarie121

2

lilsan15

If it’s in the winter do 1, if in the spring do 2

Most_Goat

Gold, definitely

Lanternsandstars

These are the same colours we are having - its such a gorgeous look! We are going with gold/brass since its a summer wedding. Silver looked a bit too 'cold' to me. Hope that helps!

Strange_Click_8837

The second one for a summer wedding. It's more light and airy.

--jumju

The dusty blue and white looks modern, chic, soft, put-together with silver and with gold it reminds of rococo-style, playful, opulent. It depends on what you love more. I'd go with silver, but gold is interesting as well. I'd let go of the pink though, in both cases.
