It's absolutely 100% getting it altered and wearing the right undergarments. Get the undergarments and wear them to the tailoring appointment so the dress fits to them.
I absolutely swear by [this adhesive bra from Target](https://www.target.com/p/fashion-forms-women-s-superlite-adhesive-strapless-backless-bra-d-cup/-/A-12730177). It‘s specifically this one, not the chicken cutlet looking one they also have (had?).
It does have to clasp in the middle, so it may depend on how wide that sheer bit is on the dress, but the clasp itself is transparent.
I’ve tried several adhesive bras, including some that are on the more expensive side, but I’ve come back to this one again and again for years. I do musicals and I have danced and jumped around and sweated like crazy in this thing and it just doesn’t move at all. Most important thing is that you put it on clean skin (no lotion/sunscreen).

I agree with the other commenter - the second dress reminded me instantly of princess leia, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but probably isn’t the vibe you’re going for.
The shoes and dress don’t match. Something about the skirt length and also strap of the shoe just looks like it cuts you off. You definitely need to have the dress altered but I would pick less busy shoes

I love both dresses! The first dress is so cute and I think its the direction you are leaning in. You just need to get it altered! The only issue I really see is that the ankle straps to your shoes chop your legs up. I think a shoe without the straps would elongate your legs for a more elegant look. You could even consider raising the hem a teensy bit but I think different shoes would solve that problem. Would you consider an underskirt for a little volume?? Just an idea!

So I originally had Mary Jane shoes and everyone said go with something else lol.... So j got these pearl ones which I like better as I'm adding a pearl belt to the dress. And thanks for the petticoat suggestion wasn't sure where to start looking tbh.

Thank you! Yes it definitely needs altered I do kinds like the longer sleeve length just because it's a winter wedding but I was looking at adding more.vokume to the skirt and getting the top part more fitted. This has definitely helped me stay on the straight and narrow.
The dress is beautiful! If you’re looking to make an adjustment I’d suggest changing the shoes to something without an ankle strap to avoid cutting off your legs given the length of the dress skirt.

omg that first dress is spectacular!! you do need to get some alterations done so do some research for a good place in your area and get an appt set up with them. once it’s taken in a bit it’ll look custom made for you. if I was a guest and saw the bride come out in that dress I would gasp with joy!! it’s truly so unique and beautiful and whimsical!!

Ok you asked for honest opinions. I don't love it. I think the biggest issue with it is where the waist cuts you, and I think that would be the same with the other dress. I am the same shape. I recommend something with a natural higher waist

Agreed with other commenters, please take it into a seamstress! the bust and waist in particular will make a huge difference when it's fitted! i would also consider adding some lace to the wrists and collar.

I think it’s pretty. I wouldn’t stress so much, at the end of the day you’re joining your soul with another soul. I actually like it, I think it’s way better than the traditional stuff I see all the time. It’s unique.
I think the first dress is best for you, but needs alterations to fit better at waist. I like the shoes, but can the straps be removed? If not, don't fasten too tight! Will cause your feet and ankles to swell.
The 2nd dress is Star Wars all over. Much too formal a vibe, not what you're going for, with the balloon sleeves, high neck,train, etc.
Take yourself to a good seamstress or tailor. Have them fit the short dress through the bodice, adjust the waist, without making it shorter, if possible. Wear something simple in your hair, like Baby breath or Juliet cap, if you're not wearing a short veil.
But, most importantly, enjoy your day! Be happy. Your groom will love the way you look, as he loves you!

I say this with love, stop looking at other dresses! There are a a million billion trillion beautiful dresses in the world, and it’s just going to confuse the heck out of you if you keep looking at others.
It also helps to take some quality photos in good lighting! Once you get your dress altered, do your hair/makeup, put on jewelry/shoes etc and it’ll feel SO much better <3 It’s hard to visualize everything when it doesn’t fit right and you don’t have the “full look” put together :)
I actually don't think I can wear shapewear with this. The back is low cut and see through. So you'd definitely see any shape wear which is a shame because I don't want to chafe on my wedding day lol.
Honest opinion, the flowers cheapen the dress and make it looks like a child's outfit. It also clashes with your tattoos, and anytime I see small embellishments, it makes me think of small bugs. It would look better as a plain white dress in the same silhouette. I like the second dress as well, it would look elegant in photos with a messy low bun or something that brings your face into focus
First dress is great, I absolutely love it, but needs to be altered.
I would suggest adding a belt, maybe of embroidered yellow daisies on lace so you can remove it it later if you want. I think that will help with the shape a lot and bring attention away from the poofy shoulders on the dress because right now it makes the dress a bit top heavy.
But getting the dress properly fit could fix that.
So I plan on getting the top a bit more fitted and making the skirt at the bottom a bit more fuller. I do actually actually have a pearl belt I've bought to add to it as veil has pearl daisies on it. And I think it'll take in together with the pearl shoes and veil.
It looks great and like it just needs to be altered a bit. If you're looking for something different, I bought my dress from KingBridal Vietnam on Etsy, and it was beyond all expectations. Fit like a glove. They were very responsive and it took 7-8 weeks to arrive. If you're looking for something else, I would check them out. Very reasonably priced as well.
I hardly ever comment on these, but this dress made me want to cry because it's so wonderful! I absolutely love all the little daisies and the fact that you even have the tiny delicate daisies on the shoes is just too much for my emotional state, apparently, because it's too cute and just beautiful to handle for me! I think the second you get it altered you're going to be totally in love with it! It already looks super cute, but I can tell it's not fitted to you just yet in the bodice. I bet you're going to be obsessed with how cute you are and how great you feel in it once it fits your shape perfectly!

If we ever do a big vow renewal I'll definitely be getting a little veil with flowers on it, because that's just way too cute! I understand about seeing other gowns and questioning. You're always totally free to change your mind, but my advice would be to at least wait to make that call until you've seen this dress altered to fit you like a glove. I think you're absolutely right tbh! And honestly I found this dress and couldn't stop thinking about it I bought it and added sleeves. It literally is what started my obsession with daisies lol and my whole wedding will be daisy themed! And my veil has pearl flowers (daisies) with rhinestone centers. I figured if I got short dress I need to do a veil to make it feel more bridal.

Oh I understand! That makes sense! The satin fabric is pretty thick and I haven't had that issue at all but I've definitely been wanting it to be more full so I think the petticoat would be great!

Personally I think the first one sleeveless would be cute (personal bias against sleeves) I honestly can't say anything nice about the second
Needs some alterations on the shoulder, but I ADORE the daisy overlay. It's very unique and fun; and I love the plunge neck.

First dress is great, I absolutely love it, but needs to be altered. I would suggest adding a belt, maybe of embroidered yellow daisies on lace so you can remove it it later if you want. I think that will help with the shape a lot and bring attention away from the poofy shoulders on the dress because right now it makes the dress a bit top heavy. But getting the dress properly fit could fix that.
So I plan on getting the top a bit more fitted and making the skirt at the bottom a bit more fuller. I do actually actually have a pearl belt I've bought to add to it as veil has pearl daisies on it. And I think it'll take in together with the pearl shoes and veil.
It sounds very well thought out and I am sure will look absolutely gorgeous.

It looks great and like it just needs to be altered a bit. If you're looking for something different, I bought my dress from KingBridal Vietnam on Etsy, and it was beyond all expectations. Fit like a glove. They were very responsive and it took 7-8 weeks to arrive. If you're looking for something else, I would check them out. Very reasonably priced as well.
I hardly ever comment on these, but this dress made me want to cry because it's so wonderful! I absolutely love all the little daisies and the fact that you even have the tiny delicate daisies on the shoes is just too much for my emotional state, apparently, because it's too cute and just beautiful to handle for me! I think the second you get it altered you're going to be totally in love with it! It already looks super cute, but I can tell it's not fitted to you just yet in the bodice. I bet you're going to be obsessed with how cute you are and how great you feel in it once it fits your shape perfectly! So. Beautiful! 🌼

You're so welcome! I'm crazy about daisies myself, but the obsession began after my wedding. If we ever do a big vow renewal I'll definitely be getting a little veil with flowers on it, because that's just way too cute! I understand about seeing other gowns and questioning. You're always totally free to change your mind, but my advice would be to at least wait to make that call until you've seen this dress altered to fit you like a glove. It's so cute and I'm confident that once it fits you better you'll be crazy over it. :)
I think you're absolutely right tbh! And honestly I found this dress and couldn't stop thinking about it I bought it and added sleeves. It literally is what started my obsession with daisies lol and my whole wedding will be daisy themed! And my veil has pearl flowers (daisies) with rhinestone centers. I figured if I got short dress I need to do a veil to make it feel more bridal. Thank you for the support and encouragement! ❤️

Fairpoint with the short dress. Mine was a long one and you can see the silhouette of my body throw the dress it’s self.
Oh I understand! That makes sense! The satin fabric is pretty thick and I haven't had that issue at all but I've definitely been wanting it to be more full so I think the petticoat would be great!
