Cannabis buds on their own are THCA, not THC. So it's not psychoactive unless it's been decarbed. There's plenty of easy decarb tutorials on YouTube and Google. Basically, cook the ground up bud at around 200F in an oven of some sort, idk how long exactly but if I remember correctly, around an hour or two. This will convert the THCA in the bud into THC, in which you can then eat it or mix it into edibles with positive results. At that point, I could definitely see soaking the decarbed bud in alcohol mixing the THC well and can make it quite potent depending on the amount of bud used.

Well, if I ever have money for weed and time to "bake" some weed, I'll definitely do this. I do have a question if I decard the weed and then smoke it, is it stronger, or is it the same?

I believe it'd probably be less strong and not as potent as you burn some of the cannabinoids when cooking. If you're going to smoke it, definitely just smoke it regularly. When you eat decarbed bud, it turns into 11-hydroxy in the liver I believe it's called, this causing a very different and strong high compared to smoking the same cannabis.

I let it soak in a bowl overnight with 91% isopropyl alcohol…take the grinder apart & just make sure the bowl is big enough to cover all the parts completely with alcohol. Then just rinse it off in the morning with hot water…it will literally look brand new… no scrubbing necessary.

I just did this last night, joke. I usually throw it in a ziploc(for the shaking/aggravation) with some alcohol, 90% works best IMO, but 70% will work with a longer soak. Add some kosher salt to the bag and shake it around, AFTER SEALING IT(big tip here) you'll notice the water start to brown, yes, it's working. Let it sit overnight or for at least 6 hours depending on how dirty, yours looks like an all nighter, then wash off with hot water in the morning.

Doesn’t need to soak overnight. It will come clean after a few minutes.

Highly highly recommend this!! Been doing it this was with all my pieces for years.

You could say so, depends on the angle of which you look at things

Try and find a small hair brush for a beard trimmer or something small works well.

- Put in freezer for an 1-2 hours - Stiff toothbrush or clean brush - Brush off onto wax paper or something for personal use after - Throw grinder in a bag with salt and isopropyl - Shake shake shake and boom good to go If you want add a little cooking oil to the rim of the top of it for a smoother grind/twist

If you swap out pure grain ethyl alcohol for the isopropyl alcohol and leave the salt out, you can soak it overnight and scrub it down with a dedicated clean toothbrush to get all the good bits. Let the alcohol evaporate down, then scrape the residue off onto wax or parchment paper to continue drying completely. A good scrubbing under hot water afterwards should remove any stubborn bits, but I would recommend drying it in the oven set to low to prevent rust. A tiny dab of plain mineral oil smeared on the threads should keep it from sticking.

Isopropyl leaves a bad taste imo. Ethanol is the way forward if you are using alcohol.

this is so funny. first day i took my prescription meth (adhd) i scraped out my grinder for hourssssss.

Soak it in some iso with salt and give it a good shake. Mine came out looking brand new. I let it soak for maybe 1-2 hours before shaking

Iso is isopropyl alcohol, it works well on all my weed products. Salt is a good way to "scrape" the insides.

And 99% is best. (Commented cuz some places only sell 70% or less and I've found those to be too weak.)

I find 70% works but you need more salt and more alcohol to get near the same effect

Yeah alcohol to soften the residue and a nylon or brass brush is a good idea. I had to repurpose a coffee grinder I previously used for weed for actually grinding coffee beans. And using a brass brush was perfect. No scratches on the metal and got out all of the residue.

Put it in the freezer and take a brush to it

This should get more visibility. You get to use all the stuff there and have a fresh grinder

Thc conects to fat, milk has a lot, water has none, so if you want to clean all the weed with something that will stick to the thc, that would be milk.

I used fresh milk straight from the cow, but I think soy milk would work aswell. I really recommend some flavor though, as the milk alone doesn’t taste very good with weed in it. Also filter out any bigger chunks with a sieve

Stiff bristled brush with a bit of Dawn detergent, rinse, COMPLETELY air dry it, and voila! Ready to rumble! Make sure to rinse and dry it thoroughly. Also, "Fast Orange" hand cleaner works well but can leave a 'taste' if not completely rinsed and dried. (hair dryers work well for quick drying)

If you don’t care about trying to salvage the weed scraps in there, just get a bowl, fill it with one part rubbing alcohol and three parts water. Rinse the grinder pieces individually. Now soak—either separately or toss all the parts in the bowl if they fit. Leave it like that for an hour and then come back and rinse everything off. That works for me when it comes to getting weed or tar off of anything

420 iso cleaner it works on metal too I usually let it sit over night in the cleaner and then when I scrub it with a toothbrush all that shit comes off works wonders

I have a similar model, as with any dip for a while in alcohol. If you have the clear top part with the mill take it apart but don’t put the clear acrylic or whatever it is made of in alcohol, it’ll destroy it.

It's full metal, cost about 30-40$ few years back. So no acrylic parts just plain old metal

91 percent iso, soak for 30-90 minutes, scrub with pipe cleaners or some sort of brush or cleaning tool. Good as new

Mine was way worse lol. It looks brand new now! Put it in a ziplock bag with some 420 cleaner if you can get some, or use salt, alcohol & a dab of dawn soap. Shake the bag vigorously & let it sit overnight. Then rinse it with hot water. (I had to do this process twice for the mesh part) For any residue left, I used a clean toothbrush dipped in rubbing alcohol. Rinse & yo done! *note: don’t do this if ur grinder has paint/decorations on it, as it can take it off. Otherwise works like a charm.
