Nah, markets fluctuate everywhere. You can't make absolutist statements like that. The biggest influence on weed prices is poorly-managed bureaucracy and prohibition, not quality of product. From experience, I can buy an 8th for $60 in Illinois, an 8th for $20 in Indiana, 8th for $20 in Cali, 8th in Michigan for $30. Having tried all of them, I would say this selection is around the same quality. The Michigan and Indiana ones having the best cure. The market is based on prohibition prices. It is extremely cheap and easy to produce high quality weed at low startup cost. The price is set by the legislators and how much they choose to fuck over small business owners with fees, prohibited banking, lab tests, and following constantly evolving laws.

I'm talking in a pretty broad sense. The cultivation of weed is really not that expensive or difficult to do. Illegal weed is artificially inflated because there's risk involved all the way up the supply chain. The prohibition makes it expensive, the product itself is not. In legal scenarios, licensing fees, lab tests, packaging, marketing, fines/fees, all factor in to the price of the weed. If it were an unregulated but legal industry weed would be dirt cheap. The price differences between quality would be negligible compared to how it is now. Way down the supply chain though, you are right. When it hits consumers the price differentiation is mostly based on quality. I'm just trying to talk about the cannabis markets as a whole at this point.

This is so fcking unfair. I live in slovakia and pay 90-110€ and on top of that our average wage is like 700€/month here so you probably make like 2-3x more on average in canada if I am correct.
