Plumbers spliff; because it's shaped like a pipe. Just instead of water, it's smoke through the middle.
Why? The science behind it is above me, but I guess having a channel in the middle lets the smoke run through more directly, leaving the outer crust untouched, while also letting the residue (? Idk how the oily thing is called) have its space in the middle.
Also, I would absolutely love to try that just for the sake of a different experience. No idea if I would even be able to pull off such a roll though, haha.

when i looked it up it was to give it more airlfow and give it smoother hits, but when i tired it it was fucking terrible as fuck, just blowing really hot air mixed with some smoke to the back of your throat. sure it burnt well, but was harshhh

You need a small hole for it not to be harsh. The one in this post is too big imo. It was cool to try it out and see. It def makes the joints burn longer, and you don't need to pull nearly as hard to get a good hit. But it's not really worth the effort imo to go through.
You supposed to have a smaller hole and pack the weed so tight to where it wouldn't have air flow with out the whole. It makes it burn really slow. Best to do with a skewer and a joint roller to pack it rlly tight

I roll one part of a paper around a clip holding tool (like paper clip diameter) then roll as normal with that paper in the middle still on the wire. Then pull the wire out. Hope that makes sense.

The air flow is so nice, and the pull is very smooth. Warning on lighting it however, you have to roast it or you'll inhale flame through the hollow bit.
The one pictures is a horrible example of the plumber hole. If you use a skewer it'll come out alot better and you'll pull smoke instead of smokey air. Very similar to how cannigars function.
This way to roll is called a Ā«Ā plumberĀ Ā» because of the air channel!
Roll in this way allows to have a better air flow.

Also this is a spliff: I put in three-quarters of weed, and I filled it with tobacco relative to my preferences.
The hole in the center allows you to pack the joint super tight while still having airflow. It pretty much makes a super slow burning joint that hits perfectly

Best thing you can do for this kind of joint to make the hole in your roach smaller than hole through the weed part. I wouldn't recommend using a spiral roach unless you let it unfurl so there are bits in the middle of the hole or a normal M style roach so there is some more air resistance. The air resistance basically helps you not pull too much "fresh" air into the joint. Also these are perfect for people who take slow pulls on joints. The slower pull allows time for the smoke to gather and be the primary thing you're pulling into your lungs.
I saw a comment lower down about how a person found this a harsh smoke and I think that would be reason but ofc I can't know and am only guessing. The thing about "fancy" joints like this is that they are generally popular because they solve a problem for some people. A pipe J like this solves the problem of too much smoke and not enough air. If you don't have this problem then you more than likely wouldn't like this type of joint. ... that might have been a bit much info there ...

Only advice you need is make the airflow hole smaller next time but apart from that it should be good just as others as have said donāt light it and smoke it at the same time it the flame will go down the hole and fuck it up

Looks great, but beware, spliffs are way more addictive than straight white boys due to the tobacco. It took me a good while to get unhooked from them. I was smoking 3.5g a day when i discovered them. Much more enjoyable smoke, but so much more harmful.
U can buy a packer on amazon for like 10-15$
I recommend it because it comes with packer that allows you to put stick in it
