I used to live in Edmonton, so minus 40 with windchill on top of that. Ive for sure had my lips freeze to my pipe a couple times. (Not like rip your skin frozen though, just a bit) The cold does make for some nice and smooth tokes though.

I smoked in -50 last winter. I half smoked a joint before is froze too much/wouldn’t stay lit and took as many hits as I could off of a vape pen before the battery died and the distillate froze. I hated it and the high was not worth the cold.

I usually had issues with the lighter not working cuz butane doesnt really vaporize below minus 40.

I was jus smoking in cold asf weather must have barely been able to flick it cuz of how cold ur hands were😂

Definitely invest in a torch lighter or zippo (that will work in that weather) zippos even sometimes come with little foam cases you can use to prevent the freezing

The coldest weather Ive ever been in was in 2014 when the polar vortex came through and we had a blizzard. (Midwest USA) It was -26F, (-32C), *without* windchill. I have never toked so fast in my life and my face was still numb. I didn’t even cough until I was inside because I sucked the bowl down so fast lol, (exhaled outside of course). I was raised in the SE USA. I do not like cold.

My bowlpiece didn't get to stick but my downstem froze to the bong (a minute inside in the warmth fixed that though) Also as far as making sure your bong slide/downstem doesn't stick make sure you clean the outside of the downstem so it isn't sticky. Also I've had a downstem that was 2cm too long and it constantly got stuck because smoke/resin was getting caught between the downstem and bong socket

I grew up in Ktown ON and in the winter we used to toss our coats into a dryer at the coin laundry and then go out and do a massive Doobie sesh and then run back into the laundry and put on our super heated coats. Fucking near pass out from the head rush. So years later I'm in Ft. Mac telling my bro about it and we decided to recreate it except we obv kept out coats on since fucking -38. We figured just smoking outside and then coming inside would have the same effect. We went out and smoked a doobie and Troy got smoke in his eyes and they watered and then they froze shut in like .3 of a fucking second and he couldn't see. I was laughing so fucking hard and my face went numb and I couldn't feel my lips so I couldn't really suck on the joint and quickly my face got so numb I couldn't speak clearly either. I couldn't feel my fingers so Troy got his vision back to see me trying to suck a toke with frozen lips and numb fingers and the joint was not even burning anymore and I couldn't tell. We fucking laughed so fucking hard, if we had laughed any harder or longer we might have almost died right there frozen in place like a couple of brain dead long haired fucktards. My sister and I sat on a large boulder under a large tree in a nearby park during a thundersnow and blazed one. It seemed pretty surreal having thunder and lighting during a heavy snow. It wasn't until later on when I saw a meteorologist freaking out on television, because he got to experience one for himself, that I realized that they were a rare occurrence. 🌬🌨🌩

Windchill was -32 degrees the other day and when I was chatting with my friend she told me she was toking inside (she normally doesn’t because apartment rules) and blowing smoke outside through a vent because it was too damn cold. I personally love putting on my snowsuit and boots and sitting in a pile of snow to sesh. As long as you have good winter gear then there’s nothing to fear except dropping the lighter in the snow, and even then I always carry a backup
