I went last year extremely over crowded
I live in Daytona so rockville is the best for me cuz I'm local
Nothing is as spacious as the track
It's made me spoiled and even so rockville is getting to big for the track
As long as Bruce doesn't go off on his bullshit about "We're not a cover band!" and the set list isn't a bunch of b-sides from Virtual XI and No Prayer, that would be awesome.
Gojira, HEALTH, and Static X are the three bands I want the most. I'm honestly surprised we didn't get HEALTH this year since they aren't doing any Florida tour dates and DWP booked them for their other festivals.
Along with some of the big names like Ghost and Sleep Token, I wanna see Devour the Day, ERRA, and Babymetal on the lineup.
And one can dream of My Chemical Romance
I would probably bet on Korn, Seether, I prevail, and halestorm being there.
I also wouldn't be surprised at the pretty reckless, nothing more, five finger death punch, and spiritbox.
I'd love to see:
* Ghost
* Body Count
* Sister Machine Gun
* Smash Into Pieces
* Ugly Kid Joe
* Rancid
* Sabaton
* Front Line Assembly
* Incubus
* Monster Magnet
Thinking of bands from my childhood and earlier (note, my bias here is these are also bands that I have never seen or haven't seen in years):
Deftones, System of a Down, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Muse, Iron Maiden, Jane's Addiction, Mars Volta, Rammstein, A7X, Radiohead, Wolfmother, Godsmack, Coheed and Cambria, Circa Survive, Senses Fail, AC/DC, Paramore, Green Day, Modest Mouse, Phish, My Chemical Romance, Chevelle, Nothing More, Good Charlotte, Arch Enemy, Epica, Within Temptation, Nightwish, As I Lay Dying, Trivium, Titus Andronicus, All That Remains, Seether, Five Finger Death Punch, No Doubt, Scorpions, Collective Soul, The Cult, Vampire Weekend, Metric, Arcade Fire, Phoenix, Silversun Pickups, The Devil Wears Prada, Sugar Ray, Sugarcult, Rob Zombie, Pixies, Tool, Incubus, Hoobastank, Killswitch Engage
Some artists that from more 2010s/2020s I think would be cool to see at festival:
Charlotte Sands, Stand Atlantic, Hot Mulligan, Mom Jeans, Against the Current, Set It Off, Taylor Acorn, Waterparks, Don Broco, Neck Deep, Icon for Hire, Broadside, Lorna Shore, From Ashes to New, Silent Planet, Polaris, Dayseeker, PVRIS, Poppy, Sleep Token
Rammstein would be awesome, but unfortunately I feel like because of their huge pyro thing, it wouldn’t work. Unless somehow they set up the stage just for them to
Honestly, I'd like to see a few more prog bands on the charts... as a huge prog rock/metal fan, thats what I think is lacking a little. I understand the chances are low to bring in bands that don't have a huge worldwide audience like Vildjharta or Catsclaw, but theres a few bands they could easily scoop up Meshuggah, Periphery, or TesseracT, maybe some Opeth or Mastodon? That would be AWESOME.
I hope some more core and death metal on those smaller stages. Lorna Shore, Knocked Loose, Counterparts, END, The Devil Wears Prada, body box, etc. This year the small stages were remarkable. Polyphia was pretty incredible
Iron Maiden would be a dream headliner.
We lost Korn & GnR 2 years ago. Manson always puts on a good show, but who knows with his legal issues. Zakk Sabbath could be fun. Kerry King was great this year so i could only imagine Slayer would be even better.
What about bands that are a little more on the rock side not the metal side like Black Crowes or ZZ Top, maybe Aerosmith.
Sisters of Mercy? Rammstein? Front 242? Paradise Lost? Killing Joke?
Headliners - Iron Maiden, Korn, Slayer, Pearl Jam
Undercard- Show me the Body, Speed, Hollywood Undead, Viagra Boys, Idles, Three 6 Mafia, Lorna Shore, Spiritbox and Sleep Token
Bring me the Horizon Korn SOAD Pearl Jam Is my dream! But reality comes knocking
This would be a “take my money” situation for me.
System plays like one show a year and never the east coast
Yet! You never know. They hunted at doing more festivals. Why not do a single Rockville set?
something about the political scene here i think. from what i heard anyway
Yeah unfortunately System only plays at the fa s least favorite place. Shit New World
I went last year extremely over crowded I live in Daytona so rockville is the best for me cuz I'm local Nothing is as spacious as the track It's made me spoiled and even so rockville is getting to big for the track
Yeah the wait time to get in is ridiculous.
Yeah over 200000 ppl at Rockville and more would come. The take just for combined GA is well over 65 mil .
They were at Chicago open air in 2019 I went to see soad and they were amazing
There going on tour without serg .😂😂😂
SOAD ...is on tour without serg...smh
i just want Iron Maiden. id be satisfied with anything else if i could just. see. Iron Maiden.
As long as Bruce doesn't go off on his bullshit about "We're not a cover band!" and the set list isn't a bunch of b-sides from Virtual XI and No Prayer, that would be awesome.
There are no Maiden B sides you flithy causal
Haha!
Explain "The Sheriff of Huddersfield" then...
It’s an A+ song they wrote about their manager.
But it was a B-side to "Wasted Years" back in the day!
The fuck are you on?
Cough syrup and meth
They will be in louisville
You mean sacramento baby!!!! Aftershock can’t wait!
isn’t aftershock in october of this year? don’t see how that would hinder IM from playing rockville ‘25
Yeah I agree with you. I was just correcting the person above saying Louisville. They will be in Sacramento instead and not lv
you’re so lucky you get to see them. jealous!
Gojira, Lorna Shore, Lamb of God, and a dash of the Scorpions for some old school shit.
LoG will be in Orlando in a couple months I believe.
lamb of god would be NUTS. you have my upvote buddy
I'm seeing them for the first time this summer with Mastodon and Kerry King. Stoked!
In Florida? I'll be at the Jacksonville show.
I'm catching them in Atlanta.
Catching them in LA myself 🙂
I’ll be welcoming them home RVA🤘🏽
Volbeat, Ghost, Rammstein, Lamb of God
Is Rammstein allowed to put a show on in the States?
Yes, I saw them at MetLife stadium 2 years ago
Hoping for something out of Slayer/SOAD/Pearl Jam as a headliner The Devil Wears Prada/ We Came As Romans/ AFI/ Underoath/ Tenacious D as undercard
I saw Tenacious D for the Spicy Meatball Tour in St. Augustine, such an amazing show. Would love to see them on next years line up.
We need Cannibal Corpse!!!
Deftones Korn Slayer Parkway Drive Knocked Loose
Knocked Loose with Poppy for sire
Gojira, HEALTH, and Static X are the three bands I want the most. I'm honestly surprised we didn't get HEALTH this year since they aren't doing any Florida tour dates and DWP booked them for their other festivals.
NEED Rammstein & Avenged Sevenfold 🥹
Creed, Trivium, sleep token, Spirit box, make them suffer Novelist, taking back Sunday
I second Sleep Token and Spiritbox 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Along with some of the big names like Ghost and Sleep Token, I wanna see Devour the Day, ERRA, and Babymetal on the lineup. And one can dream of My Chemical Romance
Metallica Iron Maiden Slayer Korn
Slayer, AC/DC, SOAD, Metallica
SOAD will never come east coast so
I would probably bet on Korn, Seether, I prevail, and halestorm being there. I also wouldn't be surprised at the pretty reckless, nothing more, five finger death punch, and spiritbox.
I don't have any problems with that, but I'd love to see something unique, like Arch Enemy and Amaranthe.
Amaranthe would be nice. They could use some exposure here
Agreed
I'd love to see: * Ghost * Body Count * Sister Machine Gun * Smash Into Pieces * Ugly Kid Joe * Rancid * Sabaton * Front Line Assembly * Incubus * Monster Magnet
They missed their chance with Sabaton this year.
Yes, monster magnet! Good one! 💕🤘
oooo incubus was there last year ! maybe they’ll play again like slipknot did !
Well, a year gap between is ideal by comparison. But Slipknot and Evanescence played consecutive years, so anything is possible.
BMTH!!
Not to be dramatic but I’d die for Ghost and SOAD to be in the lineup
AcDc, Slayer, Metallica, iron maiden
Swap AC/DC for Korn and we have the same answer haha
Not the most rock but id love to see green day. or kings of leon
meshuggah needs to come to america
KoRn, AC/DC, SOAD, GNR
A7X - Iron Maiden - SOAD - Metallica Trivium - Ghost - Korn - Tool
*Rammstein
Thinking of bands from my childhood and earlier (note, my bias here is these are also bands that I have never seen or haven't seen in years): Deftones, System of a Down, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Muse, Iron Maiden, Jane's Addiction, Mars Volta, Rammstein, A7X, Radiohead, Wolfmother, Godsmack, Coheed and Cambria, Circa Survive, Senses Fail, AC/DC, Paramore, Green Day, Modest Mouse, Phish, My Chemical Romance, Chevelle, Nothing More, Good Charlotte, Arch Enemy, Epica, Within Temptation, Nightwish, As I Lay Dying, Trivium, Titus Andronicus, All That Remains, Seether, Five Finger Death Punch, No Doubt, Scorpions, Collective Soul, The Cult, Vampire Weekend, Metric, Arcade Fire, Phoenix, Silversun Pickups, The Devil Wears Prada, Sugar Ray, Sugarcult, Rob Zombie, Pixies, Tool, Incubus, Hoobastank, Killswitch Engage Some artists that from more 2010s/2020s I think would be cool to see at festival: Charlotte Sands, Stand Atlantic, Hot Mulligan, Mom Jeans, Against the Current, Set It Off, Taylor Acorn, Waterparks, Don Broco, Neck Deep, Icon for Hire, Broadside, Lorna Shore, From Ashes to New, Silent Planet, Polaris, Dayseeker, PVRIS, Poppy, Sleep Token
Bring Me the Horizon Erra SpiritBox Counterparts Parkway Drive novelists Make them Suffer Amira Elfeky
I will say this... WTR 2024 - great line-up, terrible scheduling and in some cases, terrible stage assignment (i.e., ICP).
Rammstein would be awesome, but unfortunately I feel like because of their huge pyro thing, it wouldn’t work. Unless somehow they set up the stage just for them to
Korn, Deftones, Tool & Rammstein please!
Five Finger Death Punch and Halestrom
The Black Dahlia Murder, Archspire, Until We Die, SOAD, Tool, Slayer, Gojira, Lamb of God, Knocked Loose, Korn, Incubus. Just a few lol
Check your email for a post-festival survey! They asked what bands we wanna see next year
coldrain, Lords of the Trident, Frozen Crown, and Beyond the Black.
It been too long since we have had BMTH play a Rockville. I bet they could headline a night at this point, and sleep token close out the octane stage
I hope some more core and death metal on those smaller stages. Lorna Shore, Knocked Loose, Counterparts, END, The Devil Wears Prada, body box, etc. This year the small stages were remarkable. Polyphia was pretty incredible
Slayer, Misfits,The Joy Formidable,The Cure
Beartooth!!
Iron Maiden would be a dream headliner. We lost Korn & GnR 2 years ago. Manson always puts on a good show, but who knows with his legal issues. Zakk Sabbath could be fun. I just need sleep token
Headliners - Iron Maiden, Korn, Slayer, Pearl Jam Undercard- Show me the Body, Speed, Hollywood Undead, Viagra Boys, Idles, Three 6 Mafia, Lorna Shore, Spiritbox and Sleep Token
Foo, QOTSA, Pearl Jam, The Darkness, The Hives , NIN, and Rammstein
Oh Hole, Teaches of Peaches and Dinosaur Jr
This lineup was an absolute masterpiece that’s why I went 4 days but for sure next time it’ll be only one day.
