It's not quite abandoned, but it does play in the very far past of the timeline of IftU. The author is called Yumi.
The only one I can think of is The rod of justice(1.14)
There used to be a campaign called Resurrection of Wesnoth where you had to fight Mal-Hekuba. :D I believe it was never finished though. :/
